Also I want to send my ovulation tests strips in. Can anyone advise what they think. All three taken today one earlier on around 3pm and the other taken about 9pm don't ask about timing hahhaa

@Waiting2BeaMama Nice to meet you too! Aww it’s exciting for you isn’t it though. Especially like your first cycle! You going with an app or just the ovulation on day 14. I think I should also be around then!

Hey @apwilso how are you! Ooh sounds interesting where are you! Haha! Ovulation strips look good line is getting dark it will get darker!! What CD are you and do you know when you usually ovulate xx

@apwilso they look like mine do a couple days before my surge. Keep testing and dtd! 😂
Obviously everyone is different. Mine tend to raise and drop suddenly with only a couple truly positive, whereas I have seen others that have a couple days full of positive tests.

(I tried uploading a pic of my strips for comparison, but MN was having none of it 🙄)

@AKcheer I have been using natural cycles since last year so always seem to ovulate around day 16/17. Although I am going to make sure we DTD around day 14 just in case I miss it! Starting opks today just to keep an eye on it. What about you?

Morning @Waiting2BeaMama oh I see! Yah it’s good to cover all basis! I usually use OPKs but sometimes I forget. It’s easier because I’m working from home. If I was going to the office I wouldn’t!! On period now but said to hubby let’s not focus on OPKS let’s just go with the every 2-3 days and see what happens!

I'm just getting ready for another day of WFH, still no sign of AF. For those of you who don't know, I have not long come off the pill so I am waiting for my first proper period before we can start trying.

Hey @FTM94 Nice to meet you!! All good thanks on this rainy WFH day! Oh no! How many days have you been off the pill? I remember mine and I was off the pill and I got my period 34 days after! I’m just here trying to conceive my first!

@AKcheer I came off microgynon at the beginning of September, I am currently on CD41 so this is longer than I was expecting but I had some pains last week which I am pretty certain were ovulation so I am expecting my AF by this time next week 🤞🏼 I am one of few who are hoping for AF to come. Sorry to hear your AF arrived yesterday 😔 sending you lots of baby dust for your next cycle, I hope this will be your month xx

@AKcheer @Tabbycat92 I think I'm on cycle day 14 going to go do one this morning. Apps are saying tomorrow is my day but first proper month of tracking so it's hard to say!

@apwilso yeah mine took a good 3 months of tracking before the ovulation prediction was 100% correct.
Just BD as much as possible 😂

@Tabbycat92 we've said that as long as we're DTD we're getting one thing right. It's just frustrating though 🤯

@apwilso yeah definitely. BC really does mess thing up. When I came off the pill I got pregnant 2 months later, before getting a proper cycle. So fingers crossed for you!

I'm trying for my first, just starting my second week of this cycle. Been trying for a while now to attempting to relax and enjoy things and not get bogged down with ovulation sticks and things, although I use four different apps to track my cycle!

@Tabbycat92 I last was on BC 2 years ago but don't know if it would still throw me off. I'd like to think my body is refreshed from it now! Fingers crossed!

@Originalusername6432762 welcome! It's so hard to stay relaxed isn't it, OH and I agreed we would just come off contraception and see if it happens. That way we don't get too stressed and here I am trying to find out when I ovulate!! Just can't help myself as so ready to be a mummy X

Hi everyone! Can I join please?
I’m 31 (32 next month) and trying for our first. Had my implant out in January and we’re just seeing how things went but I’ve recently started tracking. Had my peak OPK yesterday, had a slight drop in BBT this morning and got some little pains going on so think I’m ovulating. DTD yesterday and the day before and will try again tonight just to be on the safe side. Fingers crossed this is our month/cycle!!
@apwilso my opk looked like yours on Monday then I got my peak on Tuesday lunchtime so I would keep checking today if I were you 😊

Really stressful and frustrating! I constantly feel like I'm doing it all wrong and it's never going to happen while everyone else seems to be having babies! But trying hard to just concentrate on other parts of life in the meantime.

Covered for all days hahaha. Won't lie pretty worn out now but planning on getting some clearblue ovulation tests to get a clear reading

@AKcheer yes I know it can seem so long. We were 6 months trying for our first which is not that long but seemed like forever! I had been so busy avoiding sorry all my life I felt like it was supper potent stuff and I’d be instantly pregnant! But there’s a lot of chance and luck involved.

I had a rise and dip again this morning!! Lol it’s too easy to test when working from home. More DTD for me tonight I think...I’m doing every 2 days Till I see a clear peak

Yes I too was suprised by how difficult it can be to get pregnant. It's something you're taught in school that you need to work to avoid, they fail to tell you that you're only fertile for about 5 days of the month!
