Hey!

Want to get a group of ladies who are TTC at the same time to have someone to chat to during this journey together. It's a lonely process for me and only
In early stages of trying but would love advice, tips and general chat. This is an open chat and can't wait to chat to you all

I was so tempted by that too @laura2501 but luckily got an appointment, had to wait 3 weeks for it though 🙄

Tabbycat92 · 22/10/2020 11:04

@augustlove
Im so sorry to hear of your loss 😔 that must have been so hard, especially being so far along ❤️

I really hope you arent kept waiting long for your rainbow baby. I'm sure your little girl is watching over ❤️

MrsLauraM · 22/10/2020 11:35

Hello @AugustLove ☺️
So so sorry to hear of what you’ve gone through, that must have been so hard for you both. Here’s hoping this thread can be lucky for you 💜 sending virtual hugs!!

apwilso · 22/10/2020 12:06

@MamaMoonbeam ended up bringing cheap
OPK and bought clearblue all my apps are saying different!

@AugustLove sorry to hear about your loss! Must have been very difficult. Sending you wishes and I hope you get your rainbow baby 🌈

MamaMoonbeam · 22/10/2020 12:11

@apwilso hopefully the tests will be more conclusive than the apps! You'll know which one is more accurate for you too!

AugustLove · 22/10/2020 15:50

Thanks so much for the warm welcome and messages 💕
I read through the thread earlier but my memory is awful... any one close to testing??! At a very rough estimate I’m not due until 07/11 so a while left for me. Would be lovely to see some BFPs by then. Xs

Tabbycat92 · 22/10/2020 16:26

@augustlove I'm due on the 3rd, so will be testing in a week and a half
🤞 For us all

apwilso · 22/10/2020 16:35

@AugustLove @Tabbycat92 I'm due AF on 6/11 so got a while off. When do you suggest taking a pregnancy test?

OP posts:
MrsLauraM · 22/10/2020 16:40

I’m due around 4th but I’m going to try to hold off until 5th or 6th to test 😊 looks like a few of us around the same dates.

apwilso · 22/10/2020 16:59

It does! Anyone come across any changes or symptoms early on?

I found myself more tired (maybe from DTD every day😂) I've got nausea today 🤭

OP posts:
Tabbycat92 · 22/10/2020 17:01

@apwilso I've been feeling nauseous, but I think it's probably all in my head. I wouldn't have even implanted yet!

apwilso · 22/10/2020 17:07

@Tabbycat92 I'm the same thing it's all in my head but don't even know when implantation would have been to be honest. But I'm the worse of making symptoms become real when I overthink but today has been really bad with it!!!

OP posts:
apwilso · 22/10/2020 17:07

@Tabbycat92 the nausea I mean hahaha

Hi everyone, I had a break for social media yesterday, looks like I missed all the fun! 😆

Welcome @AugustLove. I’m so sorry for what happened you. I had a MC at 10 weeks and found that tough, so I can only imagine how it felt at 20 weeks. Sending kind thoughts and lots of baby dust for this time around.

@apwilso and @Tabbycat92 same! I ALWAYS think I have symptoms, every month TTC without fail. They feel so real! My only reliable one is my hip clicking, - unusual one - I hurt my hip in last pregnancy and it goes again when I’m preg due to hormones.

How is everyone doing this evening?

I’m still waiting to see an LH peak and also wondering if I already ovulated. Confusing month. One last BD tonight and then I’m done. I can’t take anymore this month 😅🤣

Tabbycat92 · 22/10/2020 17:50

@bouncytree that is a very random symptom 😂
I only had one sign before BFP last time. And that was when I drank a single pint of lager I was knocked off my feet drunk 😂 unfortunately I had to go on stage and perform only na hour later.... Luckily I managed 😂

Bouncytree · 22/10/2020 18:04

Lol @Tabbycat92 that’s one to tell the grandkids 🤣

Actually I remember I Knew I was OG on my first cos I had pond water taste.

apwilso · 22/10/2020 18:19

@Bouncytree I'm so bad at the symptom thing especially last cycle but this time I just feel so sick so god knows. I think I've missed my ovulation I took a few days gap with it so reckon it's been.

DTD that much now me and the boyfriend have said we need to stop now hahaha. Enjoyed it but worn out now hahahaa!

OP posts:
Bouncytree · 22/10/2020 18:29

Hi @apwilso lol well as least we can all have the phantom symptoms together.

Don’t worry that you missed ovulation! Sperm can live for up to 7 days. Doing it every 2-3 days is enough. I conceived with my first doing it every 3 days. All that BD wears you out! So we went for 3 days. Feeling more impatient now so doing it every 2 days

Another OPK tonight. 0% who knows where my peak went 🤷‍♀️

AKcheer · 22/10/2020 20:38

Hi everyone hope you’ve had a good day! How is everyone feeling!? So AF should be done within a couple of days and then we can go again!

1992EM · 23/10/2020 05:57

@Augustlove I am so sorry to hear about your little girl. It must and must still be the most difficult thing to go through. sending lots of baby dust your way 💕
@Leah2501 I didn't realise GP were not doing things like that. You think they would do it at the same time to avoid you having to go to two appointments.
@apwilso how long is your cycle normally and what cycle day are you on? You will usually ovulate around 14 days before AF starts. If you have a shorter luteal phase it will be a bit less than that . Mine can be between 12 and 14 days. I wouldn't really go by apps unless you are inputting all your opks and things. They are just a calculator and roughly guess ovulation.
The only symptoms I have had are random bouts of nausea and have been exhausted this week .Both could be nothing and think the dark nights and mornings are not helping 🤣.
@Augustlove I am due AF on Tuesday so will either test on Sunday or will need to wait until next Saturday to test.
@Bouncytree Sorry to hear about your miscarriage . Sending lots of love 💕
@Tabbycat92 That is such a bizarre symptom 🤣 we will all be drinking a pint to see. I did drink a week or so ago but it was before I ovulated so doubt it would have had any effect then.
@AKcheer Hopefully AF stops soon and you can get on with your next cycle. I am currently in the tww and going crazy symptom spotting 🤣. I was very relaxed this month and now I am a few days off AF I am just as crazy.

I hope everyone is well this morning 💕

Tabbycat92 · 23/10/2020 07:20

Yes definitely @apwilso don't worry about missing ovulation, as said above sperm can live generally 5 days, but at a push 7!
The method I'm doing means I can't dtd past 3 days before ovulation!

MrsLauraM · 23/10/2020 07:59

Morning lovelies ☺️
How is everyone today?
Oh @1992EM I think you might be the first in this thread to test then. I’ll be keeping my fingers crossed for you 🤞🏻

Tabbycat92 · 23/10/2020 08:45

Morning @mrslauram all good here thanks, but pretty tired and crampy!

How are you?

AugustLove · 23/10/2020 09:18

Good morning all.

@1992EM fingers crossed for you next week! I have decided il only test if I’m late I think. But I’m a while away so could easily change my mind ...!

@Bouncytree your hip is certainly a unique sign! Is it painful or just loud?! Sorry to hear about your loss as well, it’s just so cruel. Let’s hope for some positive news for us both very soon.

@Tabbycat92, @MrsLauraM and @apwilso we are all quite close then! My eldest two have birthdays a week apart and I found out I was expecting them at this time of year. So if I was to fall this month it could end up an even busier week birthday wise!!! I do think they are lucky to have summer birthdays. Hopefully there will be some more summer babies on the way 🥰

Tabbycat92 · 23/10/2020 09:26

Oh wow @augustlove that would be a busy month! But at least they could all share a party, will save on expense in the long run 😂
We were aiming for a Sept baby so it would be the eldest of its school year, but I got impatient! Already been waiting and tracking since July, so I couldn't wait any more. A summer baby is going to be lovely though. My little boy is May, and we've been lucky enough to have lovely weather for both his birthdays. Makes it so easier to be able to celebrate with a bbq in the garden
