Hi all. Just found myself here and wanted to get involved in what seems to be a super supportive forum.
I had a MMC in December last year, didnt get the all clear until March as had retained tissue.
Weve been TTC since then really, not testing ovulation or anything, just going with the flow (I say that but I am very aware of dates and timing...think i am thinking about it way more than i have let on!)
I completely missed a whole period in September and was so full of hope. I have 37 day cycles since the MMC and my period came beginning of this month bang on when it was due (having missed one).

Anyway thats my story and we will carry on trying Smile

@HappyVibes oh that’s tough. Every time you find out someone else is it’s like a kick in the teeth!
I know I keep holding onto that it was fast last time 🤞🏻 Thank you for your kind words too, good luck and let me know how you get on 💗

RubyRainbow16 · 29/10/2020 21:00

@nurse1987 oh so sorry to hear that. I’m new to this this week too, just signed up to mums net! I’ve been feeling low and it’s really helped me speaking to others who know what I’m going through.
Really hope you get your positive soon 💗

MgW1 · 29/10/2020 22:01

Hi can I join? Hope everyone is well,
I had a mc at 14 weeks during summer holidays. Had my dating scan rearranged and it wnded up.being quite late. The baby had not grown past 12 weeks or there abouts.
Currently 1 week into TWW. We started trying after my 2nd proper period following mc. I have 3 children and always conceived after 2 / 3 months of trying so just wondered if it might take longer after miscarriage with hormones out of whack etc? Both AF's were 30 days. So if its TMI but I have hardly had any fertile discharge - anyone had this after Mc? I had a positive opk last week so thought we would give it bash but not hopeful. Got a bit obsessive with the opk's testing several times a day 🙈 so I have binned what I had left , dont want to put ourselves under too much stress and delay things further ..... 🙄 in need of some reassurance !! Xx

Morning ladies
I've been popping in catching up this few days but taking a step back from it all. At started with tears yesterday. Omg the emotions 😭 I cried for rhezqhike day nearly, couldn't stop. But it seems to be out of my system now.
So cd 2 here and ready to start ttc again. Well we were last mth b4 af arrived.
Got pregnant on 2nd cycle last time so heres hoping 🤞🤞
Not tracking bbt as my sleep is all over the place atm. Rhr still highter than when I was pregnant which is weird. Need to stock up on opks. @mgw1 u should have held onto them. U will end up getting more 🙈
@chloedancer897 glad to see your feeling a bit more positive about the future and your looking after urself xx
Anyway hope ur all well.

susiebluebell · 30/10/2020 09:19

Hi @nurse1987 and @MgW1 welcome and so sorry for what you've been through. @MgW1 I do think my CM is different post-miscarriage. Still comes and goes, just... different times and amounts than before? I'll have to make a mental note of it.

susiebluebell · 30/10/2020 09:29

@2alreadywantanother I feel you on the waterworks. Got to have a good cry sometimes but it can hit you out of nowhere. I've been feeling a bit glum about TTC, there's nothing to do but wait for my FW in 10 days and it's dragging. I can get into really superstitious thinking as well if I'm not careful, like worrying and wanting the baby is going to prevent us conceiving one. Sigh x

MgW1 · 30/10/2020 09:44

@susiebluebell
Yes make a note of it , i have got some pre - seed but its a bit of a mood killer!! I think id already ovulated by the time I had bought it ( 2 days after positive opk) so putting it to the test next month. Xx

Ladies could it be my rainbow??? 🌈

MSG92 · 30/10/2020 09:51

Good morning all, happy Friday! Welcome @nurse1987 and @MgW1, sorry you are here.

Last DTD last night, woohoo, now some rest days! Thank god. 6 times in 8 days is just not fun! I know it is FAR too early for symptoms, but I'm not normally someone who gets them, only a day or so before AF I get cramps and that's it, but my boobs are a bit sore this morning, not drastically so but more than normal, and I have had a dull ache in my belly for a couple days...I'm now in the dreaded TWW. I've been quite good with taking pregnancy tests in I normally wait until a day or 2 before, but I feel impatient this mobth so might buy some cheapies, maybe it's because I feel positive this month...

If it doesn't work this month I am going to start logging BBT, will any thermometer do?

BeeKeeping · 30/10/2020 09:51

@Runnergirl1

Ladies could it be my rainbow??? 🌈
I can see lines! 🥰 sooo exciting for you!
BeeKeeping · 30/10/2020 09:55

I should introduce myself!

I'm 30, ttc baby #2, had a miscarriage at 11 weeks in September. This is cycle 2 since the miscarriage. Positive OPK yesterday so here's hoping this is my month! Love seeing all the wee pink lines - keep posting pictures ladies so I can live vicariously through you! I'm a serial poas addict! Halloween Grin

MgW1 · 30/10/2020 10:08

@MSG92
Hi when I got pregnant before ( the one that ended in miscarriage ) i hadnt really noticed symptoms was busy doong work in our house and wuite occupied with that so dont know if that made a difference. Now i am super symptom spotting!!@ i have been having on ans off cramps starting 4dpo and now on 8dpo. Been taking temperature this month also and it is still high. Xx

MSG92 · 30/10/2020 10:17

Hi @BeeKeeping, welcome.

@MgW1 I never get symptoms for AF other than cramps and I'm not a symptom checker really so I am really noticing that I feel things I don't normally this month, after the amount we DTD this FW if we don't conceive I'll be massively disappointed and at a loss!!

Is anyone else starting TWW?

Furbsies · 30/10/2020 10:22

@ttcaftermc I am so sorry you have ended up on here. Hope that sharing makes it easier to move on and keep trying

@HappyVibes I am so sorry to be asking this but how did you realise it was a chemical. I've had a couple of times where my test was positive although light and then I've just had a period which I thought came back with vengeance but have been careful to not name it CP.

HappyVibes · 30/10/2020 10:24

Aww hey @Runnergirl1 this is exciting. How many DPO are you & when is AF due? Xxx

Furbsies · 30/10/2020 10:26

@runnergirl1 omg so exciting I can definitely see a line there. 🤗

@nurse1987 so sorry you've ended up here but welcome . Hope your journeys bring you to a rainbow soon

@msg92 tww buddies i suppose. Although I didn't dtd as much as I should have this cycle. We were absolutely exhausted due to other life happenings. But still managed to cover FW. Time to rest a little bit

HappyVibes · 30/10/2020 10:29

@Furbsies everyone is different lovely - a light positive and then AF is often identified as a CP.

Mine was literally THE heaviest bleed all in one go...felt like a water balloon popping inside I literally felt it & then a huge gush....like huge. And then nothing until a few days later and AF arrived.

💓💓

MSG92 · 30/10/2020 10:29

@Runnergirl1 I see something!!!

Ahh I hope it is!

Runnergirl1 · 30/10/2020 10:48

@HappyVibes app reckons 14dpo but about 2 days after ‘ovulation’ my cervix was high and wide open so not sure. I’m due today or tomorrow. I had the most horrific pain 2days ago like an electric shock in my ovaries and then shot to down to vagina meticulous was horrific for a few seconds (maybe implantation). I’ve been testing and today is the first day of a whiff of a line

Thank you ladies. I will keep you updated but really hope this is it x

ttcaftermc · 30/10/2020 10:58

@HappyVibes @RubyRainbow16 @Furbsies - Thank you so much for your kind messages. You all are going through so much and yet you find the courage to console someone else and pass them positivity. Requires a lot of strength.

HappyVibes - You are so right about OH. Everyone asks him about me and hardly anyone asks him about him. Not that he has ever complained about it, but i saw him speak to family to update on our situation every day. It was so hard for him, yet he did it. So I didn't have to speak to anyone if I didn't want to.

Hope everyone on this forum receives the news they so want to hear :) :)

ttcaftermc · 30/10/2020 11:00

@Runnergirl1 - I see the line. All the best 🤞🤞

ttcaftermc · 30/10/2020 11:02

@nurse1987 - may I ask how did you know there was a retained tissue? I had one scan where they didn't see anything. But that was in September. It's been 5 weeks since then and my hcg is slowly reducing. But EPU tells me no scan is required. Should I push for a scan or get it privately done?

HappyVibes · 30/10/2020 11:08

@ttcaftermc I don’t think the NHS openly offer scans now post MC. They used to apparently but not anymore. The out of hours team who I saw after my haemorrhage did refer me for one. However the scanning dept rang me the following day and said there’s no need for one and they don’t offer them as matter of course anymore as they’re not necessary unless there’s reason to believe tissue remains etc xxx

ttcaftermc · 30/10/2020 11:17

@HappyVibes - Yes, they told me the same. 2 weeks ago my hcg increased instead of decreasing. That worried them. So they asked for a repeat blood test. in that it went down again. They said if it would have increased again, they would have done the scan.

My previous MC has been so easy. BF, MC, Bleed and done. This one doesn't seem to leave me :) Sorry if I don't sound very serious; but it's just so much to go through. Humour helps
