As we agreed - starting a fresh thread before our original shuts down. Will post this new link into the old thread so everybody can find us!

In the meantime ~ sprinkling it with pink and blue baby pixie dust

and splashing with baby glue so lo's stick around forever ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

lissiethevampireslayer · 21/10/2007 17:42

lol, start a not testing thread. it got me thru til af due day

jess1996 · 21/10/2007 17:45

Hi lissie. How are you doing. I've been avoiding MN since ep nightmare. I've just started lurking again as I'm trying to avoid the temptation of early testing.

lissiethevampireslayer · 21/10/2007 17:52

jess, was thinking about you the other day, how are you doing?

jess1996 · 21/10/2007 17:57

Not bad. Fully recovered from the op. I went for my check up last week. It seems it wasn't a definite ep - they're calling it a pregnancy of unknown location. So basically an early m/c but possibly in the tube or possibly in the right place. Anyway I'm trying again. I'm currently 11dpo and feeling really sick. I'm managing to avoid testing right now, although the hpt in the drawer is calling me.....

lissiethevampireslayer · 21/10/2007 18:09

don't do it

lissiethevampireslayer · 21/10/2007 18:10

seriously, im glad you are doing well x

jess1996 · 21/10/2007 18:14

How are you doing?

lissiethevampireslayer · 21/10/2007 18:19

not too bad. we are leaving it to fate for a while now tho.

ladylush · 21/10/2007 18:34

How exciting ilts. Am I allowed to say Congratulations yet?

TJuice - don't worry about the wine. I had a bit of a hedonistic lifestyle when ds was conceived and he's right here with me - no apparent damage I stop drinking when I know I'm pregnant but just cut down when ttc. Life goes on.

katendmom · 21/10/2007 18:52

Hi girls! How are you?! Well... just had to experience UK ebay...Whoa... different! My kiddo has nasty yeast infections (an aftermath of american doctors being all antibiotics-happy with ear infections). So I learned about this complex of probiotics that supposedly do wonders (by UK-based Klaire Labs). Tried to find this stuff in USA - forget it. Available only through one distributer and you need a doc license to get it. Can you believe that after all my research I am still not a doc? What's wrong with this world?

So I went on and bought this stuff from UK Wanna know something - it is all in your currancy so I don't know how much exactly I paid . My DH laughed but said "Hey, it's for the kid and it was the only place you could get it from - go for it" and I did

Enough about us... (well for crazy stories - I was suppose to start BD yesterday, 3 days before OV cuz we want to try for a girl and I started bleeding brown stuff!) I was AF free for a week?! Don't know what it is but we're going for it LOL

ILTS babe, your pg is the biggest mystery of times! I am not sure about you - but I don't know how I will last until your Thur testing!!!

TJuice how was your party?

Hope all of you are having an awesome Sunday!

grinningbee · 21/10/2007 19:38

Hi gang,

Hope everyone is ok.

I have my follow up scan tomorrow to make sure everything went last week (joy!).

Not really too sure what they'll say if anything. Do they give any advice, or just pat you on the head and let you get on with things?

When I said to DH that I wasn't looking forward to being poked tomorrow, he said not to worry, if I'm lucky I'll get poked twice tomorrow!

On the cake front, I was a real piggy the other day and ate a few donuts... they were nice though! One more week of naughty food, then it's back to healthy eating... honest!!

iliketosleep · 21/10/2007 19:58

2 questions

i took the tests and then took the strip out of the plastic within the first 2 minutes, by 3 minutes there was a line on it, do you think the line might have been because i took it out of the plastic? I dismantle as its easier to squint at the line if it isnt through a little plastic window

although no squinting was required and i took it at nearly 4 this afternoon.

second question is, was everyone scanned after their m/c? I had a scan the following day and they said there was a little sometihng there that will probably just go on its own but i wasnt offered a follow up scan a fortnight later.

RosyBelle · 21/10/2007 20:10

ILTS - I don't honestly see why it would look like a line just cos you took it apart - it could be an evaporation line if you wait too long to look at it... say 10 mins!

They don't always offer a second scan - if I were you I would go to the docs this week and tell them whats been going on.. hopefully they will refer you for another scan and if it is something still in there they will be able to tell... and if its a pregnancy they will be able to tell that too!!

Ginningbee - I just had a slimmer soup for my tea (being a v good girl) and now I want DONUTS!!

Bucky2007 · 21/10/2007 20:21

Rosybelle a slimmer soup ?? I just ate a pork chop with new potatoes, asparagus, peas and gray with apple sauce and cherry pie and creme fraiche. How much of a pig do I feel compared to you???

RosyBelle · 21/10/2007 20:38

OMG Bucky - you lucky thing!!
If I could be bothered I would have cooked something but been at kids party all afternoon and am pooped!

Did anyone cook for you??

iliketosleep · 21/10/2007 20:48

really? this early they could see it?

aquababe · 21/10/2007 20:59

ILTS could see an empty sac at 4ws+6dys not sure how far along.
Also I was offered a second scan to check all was gone but I kind of assumed I'd get one so maybe that was why i got it.

currently having a donut fest.
dh bought too many donuts earlier when we had people round and has just found a whole new pack he'd forgotten about.
Three in and i'm feeling sick

RosyBelle · 21/10/2007 20:59

Well they would be able to tell if it was early stages I think. I conceived around 30th July - I had my 1st scan on the 21st August - cos we didn't know if the IVF had worked (then I would have been 8 wks pregnant) or we had done it on our own.

They did an internal scan - and it showed a gestational sac (but it was too early to see a fetal pole or heartbeat). The most important thing honey is that I am sure they will tell you if it is remains of previous. If it is remians of previous you need it sorting as you could get infection... if it isn't remains then you are bloody pregnant girl
Have evrything crossed for you!

aquababe · 21/10/2007 21:02

that was how far along you are.

RosyBelle · 21/10/2007 21:03

Aquababe - Donuts to you!! You are not funny

Dirty Dancing is on ch5 girls!!!

I can't watch it as am too busy cleaning up puppy sh*t

ClairePO · 21/10/2007 21:28

I didn't have a second scan, they went by what I had passed and by how my bleeding had tailed off. And its been fine because I got AF last Thursday.

splishsplosh · 21/10/2007 21:28

ILTS - def go to the dr and demand a scan to see what's going on. Tesco's make enough money withut you attempting single handledly to support their shareholders with all your purchases

Am sure af imminent, as keep having some crampy feelings. That link Kate posted said you should have 20 days of no bleeding - I've had that long since any significant bleeding, but did have little bit each day for a while longer, which would only make itabout 16 days so far. Just want everything to get back to normal. Am paranoid it'll come when I'm out and maybe be much worse than normal, especially if there was anything left over, but can't keep wearing pads - they make me itch after a while...sorry tmi

I made brown rice with veg for dinner - that's do healthy the cheese and creme fraiche I added doesn't count, right , and I reckon it balances out the chocolate muffin as well..... one day I promise to start eating more healthily again. Maybe when the maltesers waiting in the cupboard have gone.... and after tomorrow's pizza lunch..... ok, I'm just a greedy pig.

iliketosleep · 21/10/2007 22:10

"Tesco's make enough money withut you attempting single handledly to support their shareholders with all your purchases"
