As we agreed - starting a fresh thread before our original shuts down. Will post this new link into the old thread so everybody can find us!

In the meantime ~ sprinkling it with pink and blue baby pixie dust

and splashing with baby glue so lo's stick around forever ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

Just popping in to say - wow NH !! What fab news. We've had a whole run of friends (well 3 1 year after another) so can see its hard work but well worth it !

ILTS - keeping my fingers crossed for you.. keep us posted.

Hello everyone else - sorry to hear some of you are feeling down..... Have a hug and virtual chocolate.

DUSTIN · 16/10/2007 14:53

nh101 Congratulations!!! that is great news.

ILTS Hope you get good news on Thursday. Sorry you are so tired at the moment. I have handreared lots of kittens over the years so know how tired you get.

TJUICE I am glad you had a good trip. You get a lovely engagement ring and I get a new steam iron! That's what happens when you get married.

nh101andhertwinbeans · 16/10/2007 14:53

Oh Gilly I am so sorry, I really hope you get what you want very soon. I had to wait six months and they were the worst six months of my life. Thanks for being chuffed for me - it is more than I could do for lots of others on here when I was still trying!

Am I the first TTC after MC twins then? How exciting!

grinningbee · 16/10/2007 14:58

NH-and-ickle-beans Congratulations!! That's fab news. I shall raise a slab of dairy milk to you shortly (I have pringles if you'd prefer )

spookykitty · 16/10/2007 15:00

nh101 - wow what fantastic news two and a day apart thats mad you must have hatched two eggs

ILTS - looking good heres to Thursday

splishsplosh - doesn't sound very scientific to me - do a test and if it's negative your ok sort of thing but you probably are ok if you see what I mean?

gillydaffodil - so sorry you are feeling down x

cricri - I felt a bit and also first AF after mc as at least now you have a cycle and can plan some serious ttc, second AF I was well annoyed with

grinningbee - I also bought some opks and hpts from ebay, forgot I was supposed to be peeing on one this afternoon and used all my pee so got to wait until later now.

herb - can't believe they did that to you I would have told them whre to go although at the time you were probably too shocked and upset.

katendmom · 16/10/2007 15:02

OH MY GOD nh101 - the mother of twins! I nearly fell out of my chair when I read this post! I am SO happy for you - I even shed a tear! Please-please-please keep us updated on how things progress, how your little ones grow, how you feel and everything else. You're our huge success story!

ILTS, baby, how could you? Get pg without me? Shame on you JUST KIDDING! I am so psyched for you - listen, after all that you've gone through... forget the cheapies, forget Thur, go out NOW, buy a really good Clear Blue one that says "pregnant" or "not pregnant", pee on a stick, take a picture of the word "pregnant" and post it here on MN. You have an hour to get it all done - so go!

Hi everyone~ Hope today is a shiny and pleasant day for you all My first after mc AF has come and gone... so I guess in a couple of days we can think about "things" huh . I am feeling more relaxed about things... and really am very much immersed in my DS and his little cute corks (no so cute when he doesn't eat anything for days - just milk~)... but we'll see how things unveil

lol @ katend

iliketosleep · 16/10/2007 17:26

lol sorry katend no chance i could spend that much on a test that i know would say not pregnant as i dont have enough hcg

is it thursday yet is it thursday yet???

yes i did ask earlier if i put myself at 1dpo as i dont know anything about any of that stuff and yesterday had what i thought was EWCM

Can i just ask though how would i get a bfp after just 4 weeks trying? it is pretty impossible isnt it!?!

iliketosleep · 16/10/2007 17:29

dustin its really knackered me out, its also really annoying when im feeding 1 and the other 6 are screaming round me and biting my toes

they seem lovely though, ive got them all drinking from a bowl and eating soggy dry food

katendmom · 16/10/2007 17:50

Oh com'on! ILTS you just took all the fun out of my day! Let's compromise - don't drink anything for a couple of hours, think "concentrated wee" thoughts and then pee on an expensive stick. The suspense is killing me!

The rest of you, my fellow MNers, so peer pressure would really help me out here

OP posts:
ladylush · 16/10/2007 18:23

Lol Katendmom - why don't you buy her one and send it if you're that desperate to know! Really hoping for you ILTS and so sorry to hear one of the kittens died .

NH - CONGRATULATIONS TWO OF THEM!! WOW - WHAT AT SHOCK, BUT A LOVELY SHOCK

ladylush · 16/10/2007 18:29

Starlight - terrible experience - unfortunately I wasn't surprised. I work in clinical areas so I see this sort of thing quite often. Plus when I m/c and went to A&E the toilet was covered in blood, floor, toilet, door handle, sink etc. There was no soap and no paper towel. In fact I don't even think there was toilet paper. Got the same vague looks when I asked for some. In the cubicle I was being examined in there was blood over the floor and the bed. Called the domestic over. He swished the mop round, completely missing the blood and telling me "it's ok, no problem" - don't think he spoke much English nor had any idea what he should be doing. The mop he used had no spill kit disinfectant tablets in it and he tried to mop the toilet seat- with the same mop he'd used on the floor.

katendmom · 16/10/2007 19:03

well I would but since she's over the ocean from me - by the time these sticks will get there - it'll be past Thur and she'd be done testing anyway! This long-distance relationship with ILTS is killing me!

One would think if we got pg at the same time... mc'ed at the same time... got BFN at the same time... we'd get pg at the same time? Now isn't that a logical course of events?

NH - congratulations!!! what great news!!

another fly by posting from me, sorry. have been reading when I can, but not posting much, as things have been a bit hectic lately. hopefully will have more time to post when things settle down. hope everyone is having a good week!

iliketosleep · 16/10/2007 19:05

it could still be negative kate and if it is....i'll hold out just for you

or.......

i just wont test again till you do lol think you could handle it???

ronshar · 16/10/2007 20:10

Sorry to kill the good news thread but got my blood results this morning HCG 1.005. Or in normal words BFN.
So the good news for me is that I am now

Ronshar CD6 TTC#3 MC March, Oct 07.

Sorry about your little baby kittens ILTS but hopefully good news for you with the wee sticks.

katendmom · 16/10/2007 20:12

It won't be negative. I just won't settle for that. You're always a half-a-step ahead of me. So you have to be positive. I mean your stick must.

Don't hold off for me, silly! I am only CD 7 today. Even if we dive into TCC this month - it'll be WEEKS before I can test!
