As we agreed - starting a fresh thread before our original shuts down. Will post this new link into the old thread so everybody can find us!

In the meantime ~ sprinkling it with pink and blue baby pixie dust

and splashing with baby glue so lo's stick around forever ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

Hey dont panic Kat. I always do that.
You know to be honest I have kinda had my tears over this little bean. Having wasted 6 months of my life moping about about a baby I didnt have rather than looking forward to more babies. And also loving the 2 I do have. I feel blessed.
I hope that doesnt sound cold or hard but I just want to move forward this time. I just need to work out my OV now.

katendmom · 16/10/2007 20:23

Not cold at all! Life is life. We get only one chance to live it! I think ILTS and I went through our MC with that attitude (did feel a bit shy that we were not a bigger rack at times - but it was our personalities so oh well...)

You're a wise woman and a blessed mother. Cheers to a new cycle!

Ronshar - of course you don't sound hard or cold. There's no right or wrong way to feel about a mc. Hope you ov soon, anyway

ronshar · 16/10/2007 20:28

Bless you Kat. Back at ya.

ronshar · 16/10/2007 20:29

Actually I have just decided to have abeer to wash down the folic acid!

katendmom · 16/10/2007 20:32

Now why didn't I think about that, ronshar? I bet that if ILTS wasn't busy feeding kittens or peeing on sticks (hopefully she doesn't mix things up, if you know what I mean) - she'd offer a sausage to go along with that folic acid... ahhmm... I meant beer!

hey theres a knob standing outside my house singing some dodgy tune think im gonna throw a bucket of water over him, i think hes fart as a pissed

ronshar Im so sorry for you hun and still dont know what to say so instead of not saying anything ill just say what they said oh yeah heres some sausages lol

kate its quite possible i could end up peeing on the kittens or feeding them wee or inserting kitten milk in random places

I spent all afternoon cuddling my 6 week old cousin shes so cute! also my auntie randomy said "are you pregnant?" I said "what makes you say that?" she said "because your tits are fucking huge!!" her words! so even if im not pg at least i have a decent bossom

TJuice · 16/10/2007 20:46

ronshar - sorry to hear about the bfn. your attitude is positive though, here's to the future raises a beer

grinningbee · 16/10/2007 22:46

ronshar I'm so sorry to read your news. Big hugs

I nearly wet myself when I read about peeing on kittens. I had to read that bit out to DH 'cos he wondered why I was laughing...

Can I ask for a bit of advice please? At the mo I'm still bleeding (just how sodding long does this go on for???). I've picked up from reading some posts that you test to get a negative. Should I do this before ttc? I've decided that whatever they tell me at my scan on Monday (to make sure everything has gone I guess) I'm not waiting a month or 3. I'll be 37 in a couple of weeks - I don't have time to waste!

Btw, someone asked what treatment DH is having for his stomach cancer - he's not having chemo (I think they're saving that for if this doesn't work again). He's having biological therapy. I don't understand it too well, but they inject the poor boy with lots of fluid to kill it off and make his own system fight it (last time he was having up to 1.25 litres every week injected).

Because it was summer when he last had it, he was wearing short sleeves. Would you believe that he had several comments due to the marks on his arms - people called him a drug addict ! One women pulled another away from him in the blessed co-op 'cos they thought he was a druggie. I ask you! If you break a leg, people can see a cast. I do wish people wouldn't make assumptions....

Ooooooooh... sorry

Didn't mean to go off on one then.

One of the downsides to the treatment is that he tends to fall asleep early in the evening. As we usually get up at stupid o'clock to go to market, this doesn't leave me much of a time frame to jump on him ...

katendmom · 16/10/2007 22:52

grinningbee it is a good idea to test (if you're not waiting for AF to start TTC) just to make sure that all hormones from the previous pg are gone from your body... so that if you get a BFP in a few weeks - you can be sure it is a new pg Hope this helps!

And yes... people will be people... always making assumptions, always living in the world of perceptions, rather than reality GOOD LUCK to your husband - I wish you both very good and productive weeks to come

Thank you. I'll get myself some tests so I can check. Not for any other reason you understand... . (I can feel already that in a few weeks I'll be standing up and admitting I'm a wee test addict!!).

It's a good job we don't have a sausage stall on the market. I wouldn't be able to keep a straight face after reading about "battered sausages" lol.

Thank you for the good wishes to DH. It's the third time the poor lamb has had it. But he knows he has no option other than getting better. I put it in his contract

iliketosleep · 16/10/2007 23:22
