Right. I was getting annoyed at the "intelligent record" by the free Femometer so I upgraded to the prime of it for a week trial... low and behold it decided that the opks the previous couple of days were peak!? 🥴
Luckily we've DTD everyday bar wed

@gems05 thats really naughty!! I've downloaded Flo, Fermomter, Clue and Premom. Ha! I decided to use all 4 until I decide which is most reliable before we actually start trying to conceive

@HeyDW96 how exciting that you're so close to testing. The symptoms sound promising too! I'll keep my fingers crossed for you.

Good luck @sparkleprincess. I don't think we DTD very much when TTC my daughter and I got pregnant the first attempt so it's definitely possible.

Anyone else who's TTC this month gone a bit mental with obsessing and calculated their due date 🤦‍♀️. I'm so annoyed at myself for getting so invested in this month. I know I'll be absolutely devestated if I'm not pregnant 😭.

Hello all not been on for a few days and you've all been very chatty haha!!!

@sunflowersaremyfav93 for what it's worth our plans won't be affected by Covid. Who knows how long all this will last for and for us personally we can't afford to lose that time ttc once we get to December/Jan and more or less have our ducks in a row. It would suck if DH couldn't attend scans etc but not as much as it would suck to lost that time ttc if it takes us a while. Plus there's always private scanning as others have said, that's what my friend who is pg right now did.

CD6 and the fertility monitor flashed at me and told me to stick in a test. It was low of course so early in the cycle but I think it builds up a baseline and gets used to your cycles over time! I think!!! I quite like POAS, is that weird?! 😂 I think it's just cos it feels like I'm actually doing something even though we aren't ttc just yet, hopefully I will have a good handle on my cycle by the time we are.

@TheNewMrsW that is exactly how I feel- about doing something. Not TTC until December but taking pregnacare, tracking temps and will start using OPKs once I've had my first proper AF. I feel like I'm moving in the right direction rather than doing nothing even though we arent TTC. It weirdly gives me comfort and makes me feel in control (even though clearly I'm totally not 😂)

I'm absolutely with you all, there's no way I'm delaying it.. after thinking about it last night, we could be in this shitstorm for who knows how long.. so private scans it will be!

@CookieMonster3001 You're right, we're in the second wave at the moment, worrying isn't it. We're seeing our parents this weekend before they say households can't mix.

Are any of you in the north-east where they've enforced lockdown again?

@TheNewMrsW I've got the fertility monitor too, used it last month and it started asking for test from CD8 and I got low reading until CD11 then got high CD12-CD16 and peak CD17
This month I missed the first few days when it was asking for tests, did them past two days and got low reading then today CD13 it didn't ask for a test...even though I'd already done one! I'm not getting any reading on cheap OPKs but I am getting watery CM. I get anxious at this time in case I don't ovulate!

Hello everyone! Hope you’re having a good weekend. I did get my peak eventually, thank you for the advice @butterfly5291 and @CookieMonster3001! Day 13 again which is almost always what it was when I used Natural Cycles, so at least I’m consistent!

I was thinking today about whether I’d want to delay things based on the current situation, but I don’t think I would. We weren’t planning on trying until after Christmas so we have a few months, and it feels like this could drag on for months.
I did go for a run today though, and it didn’t go well. I’ve had a couple of weeks off as I’ve gone back to work now after working from home and I could definitely tell the difference. I haven’t put any weight on though, which is good!

13dpo! I'm in such shock I didn't believe it would happen this quickly! Hoping and praying all stays well.

Please can I get your opinions ladies: so I started yesterday (7 days after I think I ovulated) with light pink spotting. Quick Google and I thought okay this could be implantation bleeding. It wasn't bad enough for me to need a sanitary pad, just when I wiped. I went to bed last night and have just woken up like a preteen with their first period. Loads of brown blood so now I'm massively confused! Is this my period 7 days early, because usually I'm like clockwork or could it still be implantation bleeding but I didn't think it was supposed to be this heavy? I'm so confused and feel like I'd stupidly just assumed everything would happen first time and never actually considered how I'd feel if it didn't. This is so pathetic but I'm actually in tears thinking about it.

You’re not pathetic at all @Pebbleinthesand, please don’t think that! I think implantation bleeding is normally quite a lot lighter than a period, but I’m no expert. Is it getting any heavier/lighter now?

@HeyDW96 omg congratulations!! I can't believe you got a BFP on your first time, can you remind us all everything you did please to plan.. supplements, diet wise, weight, exercise.. pillow under bum after lol! So happy for you.

@Pebbleinthesand don't feel silly at all and don't feel bad for crying either, I just know I'd be exactly the same as you. I'm keep telling myself it won't happen first cycle but part of me is like it will.. so I'm setting myself up for disappointment.
Has this happened before? I don't know much about implantation bleeding, the only thing I can think of is that red blood is fresh and brown type blood is old blood? I sometimes get brown discharge before I come on, sorry I know that doesn't help. Are you going to take a test soon just to be sure? We all have diff bodies so I'm keeping everything crossed for you that this is a sign of implantation. Xxx

Lots of sex, every day around ovulation and the day of! If it's night time I rolled over and went to sleep 🤦🏼‍♀️😂 no pillows under the bum but not a lot of gravitational pull on the swimmers.

Exercise wise not very much, I'm a staff nurse in a really busy ward, I'm on my feet for 12 hours a day 4 days a week and have a puppy with a lot of energy so I'm kept very busy with her!

Diet is just normal and varied, plenty of broccoli, spinach in my pasta, plenty of pineapple and oranges! ❤️

I didn't change my habits much, I had a gin lastnight and now I feel terrible about it! So if you have the guilty conscience that I do, don't drink in the tww because I feel awful about it and I thought I wouldn't mind 🤦🏼‍♀️

@HeyDW96 OMG that's fantastic!!! Congratulations I hope all goes well and keep us updated how you get on. Don't feel guilty about one little gin, a lot of folk say drink till it's pink and it was only the one, like you say you didn't expect it to happen so quickly!

@Pebbleinthesand do you usually get brown bleeding before AF? If not sounds like it maybe could be implantation bleeding though 7DPO would be early for that I think, doesn't implantation usually happen around 10DPO? Are you certain of when you ovulated?

Hi ladies.. just want to vent..

So my mum and dad are out today with my brother, his girlfriend, and their daughter. I'm obviously pleased they're spending time together and having a lovely day but I can't help but feel so jealous 😩 I hate feeling like this because we're not even trying yet but I just feel like I'm spending my next 18 weeks waiting til we can start. If it was up to me then I'd want to start trying now but my boyfriend wants to wait till next year.
I find myself at home, bored, with nothing to do.. only so much cleaning and ironing we can do .. just yearning for my time.
Do any of you feel like this?

Oh sorry, i take folic acid and have just recently started taking vitamin D, some multi vits have vitamin A in them which should apparently be avoided x

@Pebbleinthesand it is totally normal to feel emotional. I really wouldn't worry too much. Bodies are just strange and unpredictable- that is the only thing i learnt. My "period" from coming off the pill has been the lightest one yet. I didnt need to use a pad at all. So so weird. Why is it my first period that I have no intention of taking my next lot of pills would be a complete nothing period. 🙄
I know it is easier said than done but try and focus on getting through the next next week or so are start pregnancy testing as soon as you can to out your mind at rest one way or the other

@sunflowersaremyfav93 I am the same. My friend had a baby this week and it has just made me want one more. My husband is determined we wait at December. I cant get pregnant this month cause of 2021 holiday plans (which probably won't even happen) but from October/November they would be clear. I'm so bored with wfh all the time and if we are about to go into another lockdown part of me feels we should just get on with it!

@HeyDW96 wow congratulations! Another first timer! Please don't feel guilty about having a gin...it takes a few weeks until the placenta and umbilical cord developing so you won't have passed any alcohol.

@AMS19 I'm exactly the same!! The only thing we'd need to be careful of is his sister getting married abroad in September 2021.

@butterfly5291 I'm not even sure why he wanted to wait til next year, I think his sisters wedding was a part of it but I think it was just he wanted this year to be a year of us enjoying living together.. doesn't make sense to me. We can still do that if I'm pregnant but 🤷🏻‍♀️

@sunflowersaremyfav93 I think they don't realise how small the chance is of getting pregnant even when trying! I think if this year has taught us anything it's that there's no point in trying to plan around things because who knows what might happen to dispute it all! I wouldn't put your baby plans on hold for someone else's wedding! If you got pregnant first month then you wouldn't be able to go abroad for the wedding anyway....don't tell him that though in case he makes you wait even longer!!

I know exactly!! Who knows if the wedding will even go ahead. But you're right, he just thinks that we'll get pregnant the one time we have unprotected sex, I've tried telling him that's not the case but it's like talking to a brick wall. Will def not be telling him that 😂 worst case scenario if I can't fly then he can go for a few days for the wedding and I'll be at home. I'm more than happy to miss the wedding. I know that sounds mean but like you said why build my life around other people's plans!
