Morning all! how was everyones weekend??
I had a great weekend, went up to Taunton for a bit of glamping which was so relaxing (bar all the drinking!) walked about 40km in total and totally beaten up my feet, blisters and bruises all over meaning I am limping around!! But a weekend away full of drinking and eating with friends was a great way to relax and now its over, time to cut the alcohol out and really start focusing on getting myself as healthy as possible. I got back yesterday and took an OPK straight away and after 3 months, I finally got a super clear positive! So glad I decided to get the easy@home strips instead because they are defo easier to read!
@mackjm20 im sure everyone has already told you this but I set an alarm for 7am every morning and take my temperature. For me now its more about looking for a trend rather than analysing every single temperature. They say you should have a solid 3-4 hours sleep before taking your temp, but this has never really affected me much, for me its more making sure that I take it at the same time every day (give or take 5-10 minutes). At the moment, I am using onestep and easy@home OPKs and I use one everyday between CD 6-10 and then 2 a day onwards (aiming for around 12pm and 5pm). The month I am going to really focus on TTC then I will also use the clearblue ovulation sticks once I start noticing my LH levels increase so I really dont miss the ideal time. Thats about it really!
@thenewmrsw Glad AF finally showed up!!
@Iamfoureels a plastic shot glass to catch your wee? You must have incredibly good aim, I use a large coffee lid and I still sometimes pee all over my hand haha. At first I was grossed out, but then I thought whatever, I'll have to deal with worse when I give birth and need to clean baby poop. Counting it towards my mummy training LOL
@queenatom welcome back! Hows the TTC and the TTW going?
@kittyt30 how exciting about your scan next week! Glad your doing well despite all the symptoms! My older sister lived off ham sandwiches and orange juice for about 4 months!
