@Juno231 I didn't realise such a thing existed. That might be good as there's a record for you to look back at but there's no need to obsess? I really struggle if I know I need to sleep to take my temp.

@MimiArm referral time etc is so hit and miss. But it's not good really, is it? They need to pull their fingers out! Let's hope magic happens before May. For all of us.

MrsTwentyEight · 22/11/2020 13:18

Nothing to report sadly @MimiArm
CD6 - beautiful AF turned up. Lol re: dry spells. Pretty sure our dry spell may have accidentally started 2 days before OV day... ha! Doing my usual calculations and this month the due date is Aug 31....exactly what I once wouldn't have wanted! Though right now I could not care less...testing would be around xmas day too.
Hospital has started getting crazy busy with winter pressure etc so tbh I don't think I have any energy to be thinking about TTC this month. DH and I are both in the similar field so all fun and games -.- Will aim to check this thread to keep up with you all though!!

Juno231 · 22/11/2020 17:06

@MrsTwentyEight although if first borns tend to be overdue then you're firmly in September territory and that is such a lovely month! Still possible to do summer bbq bday parties if lucky :) I'm a Jan baby and that's so yucky lol.

@paintfairy hm maybe I'm wrong but eg the fancier femometer one updates the app through Bluetooth so I think you'd get away with not seeing it!

CD27, 11DPO and I had a bit of spotting today which is unusual for me pre AF... Doesn't bode well though and I had a BFN today so we'll see if AF shows early tomorrow.

@MimiArm got everything crossed for you! Your RHR is sounding promising - how many dpo are you now?

OP posts:
MrsTwentyEight · 22/11/2020 18:40

@Juno231 that is so true! Oh gosh I'm a January baby too - it honestly is the worst isn't it 😂 Nobody cares about us after that post-Christmas hype...

paintfairy · 22/11/2020 20:11

@MrsTwentyEight I always said I never wanted an Aug baby too. Worst month really (school wise). But I'm past caring too.

And omg. @Juno231 @MrsTwentyEight I'm a January baby too! 😯 I always said I'd never bless my children with a dec/jan birthday because I felt my mother was ridiculous. 🤣 But again- like we can be that picky now?

@Juno231 spotting is odd if it's not usual for you? Fancy apps sounds good!

MrsTwentyEight · 22/11/2020 21:30

That is hilarious!
@MimiArm tell us you're a January baby too 😂
Ahh yes @paintfairy past caring now definitely! I was binge eating during AF as I was feeling so miserable about this blimin TTC nightmare haha. Though I need to release that energy in exercise rather than food.

paintfairy · 22/11/2020 21:42

@MrsTwentyEight My new theory is- maybe January both women all struggle with ttc? 🤔

I think eating crap when you have AF is standard. Although technically I'm sure i read that's the time you shouldn't because your body can't cope with the sugary crap as easily.

MimiArm · 22/11/2020 21:53

@MrsTwentyEight @paintfairy @Juno231 I need to break with the mould here ... I'm a .....(drumroll) ..... June baby!

@Juno231 I've no idea how many DPO I am. I'm CD21 - that's all I know! I think the Clomid worked though and I deffo ovulated this month. Boobs are sooooo sore and this hasn't happened since the start of my TTC journey (11 months ago). Literally aching! Your spotting sounds promising 🙏🏻

paintfairy · 22/11/2020 22:07

@MimiArm 🤣 Drat.

Clomid sounds good though. Fingers crossed it'll do the trick!

paintfairy · 24/11/2020 11:03

6 dpo for me. I'm regretting taking the b6. I keep getting weird pains and I reckon it's that. I don't think you are meant to just stop it but I think I'm going to have to!

Its weird for me having a slightly longer cycle as AF seems so much further away. 🤣

How is everyone else?

Juno231 · 24/11/2020 11:43

@paintfairy what kind of pains? If they're manageable I'd be tempted to leave it until CD1, just in case it does work this time! How's the spotting?

OP posts:
paintfairy · 24/11/2020 12:34

@Juno231 hmmm. Well they vary. Still got them and I had them on and off yesterday too. They remind me at times a bit like when you take a laxative and you get random cramp twinges? Some seemed higher but I keep getting one really low down on the right- almost near my pubic bone? They aren't painkiller needed type bad but they don't feel right either. The b50s did it to me before but I'm sure the b6 alone didn't. I read you can technically take up to 200mg though and I'm only taking 50mg (with food at night) so theoretically it should be ok. I wasnt sure if to take half a one later?

No spotting yet. So this month is definitely better than the last 2! Although having 2 really crap ones together like that isn't usual for me. I normally just get one like that every few months. Its strange though? I do wonder why and what the difference is. I ovulated unusually late for me this month too and I didn't start the vits until then, so it wasn't that. I honestly have no clue or can make no pattern from it, even after all this time!

MimiArm · 24/11/2020 13:24

@paintfairy Hey. How long have you been taking the B6 for? Nothing to report here. Boobs still in agony but RHR falling by 1 beat a day for past 2 days so AF most likely on her way now.

paintfairy · 24/11/2020 13:26

@MimiArm about a week or so?
Oh no. Let's hope not. Although if you ovulated that's something. Maybe it'll still work, nothing is instant I guess. Take a few months.

MimiArm · 24/11/2020 13:39

@paintfairy that's not very long. I would br minded to agree with @Juno231 to maybe persevere a bit?

I'm as sure as I can be that I ovulated. Boobs sore = progesterone (I think) so, suppose that's positive.

I feel more pressured as I only have 4 more months supply then that's it. It would deffo be IVF then.

paintfairy · 24/11/2020 13:42

@MimiArm 4 months is hopefully enough. I get the boob pain some months. I used to get it a lot and always on the same CD. But haven't the last few months.

Yeah I guess I can carry on. I just wasn't sure the pains were a great thing?

MimiArm · 24/11/2020 13:51

@paintfairy I've no idea. In a glass half full mentality, it means something is happening - though appreciate pains aren't usually a good thing!

I get pains since taking Clomid (burning pains in ovaries). I treat them as good pains as it's means the eggs are cooking.

Juno231 · 24/11/2020 15:35

@paintfairy ah that does sound painful. Maybe try lowering the dose for a bit and see if it helps?

@mimiarm I'm so disappointed you broke the Jan trend btw! Sorry to hear your RHR is dropping, mine is too. It dropped 2 from yday and one from the day before that so I reckon tomorrow could be day (I'm 13DPO). I'm so positive you'll catch in the next few months though!

MimiArm · 24/11/2020 16:52

@Juno231 I hate the Fitbit as I always obsessively check it. I really thought I was on to something this cycle cos it just went up everyday with no static days - Today is cycle day 22 for me. I reckon I'm probably 7 DPO or thereabouts 😩 Sorry yours has dropped as well.

Feb Bus Pt 3
paintfairy · 24/11/2020 17:33

@Juno231 I'm going to try half tonight i reckon. Its not unbearable but it doesn't seem right either.

I'm gutted @MimiArm isn't a January baby too. 🤣 That would have been bonkers.

Juno231 · 24/11/2020 18:01

@MimiArm oh wait you're only 7DPO? I wouldn't worry then! Realistically the most common day to implant is 9DPO so whatever you're seeing now is pure progesterone and not failed egg related unless you sometimes have a super short LPs?

OP posts:
Juno231 · 24/11/2020 18:06

Mine at 13DPO

MimiArm · 24/11/2020 18:46

@Juno231 Mine usually looks like yours, up and down, up and down.

Unfortunately I do have a short LP. 25/26 day cycles so I'm only a few days away from AF realistically. I'm also guessing on the DPO. It could be a few days more realistically!

paintfairy · 24/11/2020 19:04

@Juno231 @MimiArm I think I'm glad I don't have rhr. Something else to agonise over. 🤣

I just learned that you only get 1 round of ivf on the nhs these days? I just assumed it was 3 still, like it used to be. That's not reassuring! 🙈

MimiArm · 24/11/2020 19:07

@paintfairy Yes, be glad you've no Fitbit. The first thing I do when I open my eyes is check my HR! Then I check it about 30 times a day after that haha!

I think you're right about 1 NHS IVF round unfortunately.

We only have the money (I don't say "only" lightly) for 1 private round. As the NHS wait list here is too long for my age, it would therefore be that one and only round most likely. Scary thought!
