18:6 even!! **

Juno231 · 28/10/2020 22:13

@MrsTwentyEight I started this week so am only on day 3. I don't normally have breakfast so it's not a big shift for me - just means no milk in my coffees and no fruit snacks... And a slightly later lunch of course!

paintfairy · 28/10/2020 22:16

I've done 5:2 a few times before and it always works for me. I find it hard the first 2 weeks and then once I'm in the habit it's actually OK. Really need to do something now but no motivation.

MrsTwentyEight · 01/11/2020 09:03

How is everyone ? @paintfairy @Juno231 @MimiArm

@MimiArm what happens with weddings with new lockdown? You poor thing I feel so bad for the madness that is this world around your wedding time

@Juno231 @paintfairy which CD? I'm currently CD19...plan to DTD every other day flopped when hubby managed to sprain his back (I was so furious with him for this ...no he didn't sprain from the DTD...just from bending over somewhere else haha) So far the DTD count looks like CD 11, CD 13, CD 15 and CD 19. Flashing smiley yesterday so I'm going to assume I'll ovulate today but who knows anymore.

paintfairy · 01/11/2020 14:47

@MrsTwentyEight fingers crossed you've done it enough though, especially if you haven't ovulated yet. It'll be fine.

I'm CD 24. So AF due wed or thurs for me. I've a blood test booked Friday so let's hope it falls right this time!

Juno231 · 01/11/2020 17:18

@MimiArm I hope you are dodging this lockdown malarkey and the wedding is going ahead?

@MrsTwentyEight I'm not sure what my CD1 was this cycle so I'm either CD4 or CD6. Am sorta tempted to just try and dtd every other day until cd18 and not bother with OPKs this time? Mainly cause I'm so preoccupied with the house that I'm less fussed about over complicating ttc atm...

@paintfairy fingers crossed the blood test on Friday isn't needed. We've got OHs SA phone consultation tomorrow so I'm excited to hear about that.

OP posts:
paintfairy · 01/11/2020 17:22

@Juno231 haha. As if it won't be needed. Spotting is doing my head in too. Its not great again this month. Oooohhh exciting about the SA results. Another step forward.

MimiArm · 01/11/2020 19:35

@Juno231 @MrsTwentyEight @paintfairy

Hey ladies. As we are in NI, we are two weeks into our lockdown. Our ceremony can go ahead but our reception was cancelled. Hotels, bars, restaurants all closed so back home again once we're wed! Making the most of it though as the important part can still happen.

I'm same cycle day as you @paintfairy and I've had tummy cramps today and just found pink when I wiped. RHR is sky high though at 74 for the past 4 days! It's usually low to mid 60s, climbing to perhaps 71 days before AF but then always drops suddenly 3 days before AF

paintfairy · 01/11/2020 19:38

@MimiArm Not long now! I hope you have a fab day. You are right- it's what you make it. And really it's only about you 2 anyway.

Symptoms sound promising!

MimiArm · 01/11/2020 19:53

@paintfairy Thank you. Hope you are able to get your bloods done this week (or not if AF stays away permanently) x

MrsTwentyEight · 01/11/2020 20:01

@MimiArm thats really good! I keep forgetting you're in NI. Absolutely, main thing is being together and thats all that matters! The money you save can be spent on a lavish honeymoon in the future post-Covid!! Really hope you get your BFP on your wedding day.

@paintfairy ahh thats great news about blood tests. Hopefully the receptionist isn't a dimwit this time!

@Juno231 I would agree. Let it naturally happen. Too much stress timing it (oh I am feeling it )Hope you settle into your new place!

I'm home alone and keep googling 12 week scans and due dates and when I would be 28 weeks if it was this month etc etc....why do I do it every damn month :(

paintfairy · 03/11/2020 18:23

@MimiArm its a good job you are in Ireland. Weddings are banned here again. 🙄 I mean, honestly! Fed up of it all.

@Juno231 how was the consultation?

@MrsTwentyEight 😂 I used to but I don't bother now. More wonder just how old I'll be by the time it happens!

CD 26 for me. My cycles are usually 26 (last month annoyed me and went 27 hence ruining blood test) so AF likely due tomorrow. No spotting since last night which usually means AF is imminent (usually get that for anything from a few hours up to 24). And I reckon it might even come tonight. Feeling crampy since I got home as well.

Juno231 · 03/11/2020 18:35

@paintfairy keeping my fingers crossed it won't show. I know how you feel though, I'm pretty deflated about this whole TTC malarkey and just feel like I'm plodding along.

OP posts:
MrsTwentyEight · 03/11/2020 19:47

Hope AF doesn't show @paintfairy
@Juno231 I've reached the stage where I'm non-stop stressed and anxious about this whole thing. Vicious circle as that's making it worse I bet. Oh well lockdown part 2. Hoping for a 2nd lockdown baby charm for us all.
@Juno231 you WFH right ? Lucky. I work in Covid area so that's not going to help with my stress.
@paintfairy how's work for you? Do you have to go in during lockdown?

paintfairy · 03/11/2020 20:21

@MrsTwentyEight No, i have worked from home since March. Which sounds great but to be honest you miss normality. And it's driving me crackers.

AF definitely here. 🙄

MrsTwentyEight · 03/11/2020 20:57

@paintfairy ah whereas I feel like WFH would be amazing....grass always green on the other side and all that

Sorry to hear about AF Sad

Juno231 · 04/11/2020 14:53

@MrsTwentyEight I was WFH until Sep where our offices reopened properly so I went straight back in as wfh is okay every now and again but I found it dreadful to do every day. Will be back to wfh from tomorrow though!

CD9 today, I'll probably start OPKs tomorrow :)

@Juno231 you said no OPKs this month remember! 😛 Just DTD freely 😉 (says time)
Ahh I see. I have never WFH ever so the concept is alien to me 😂 Though I dream of the day I'm 28 weeks and choose it! (If only that day hurried up)

MrsTwentyEight · 04/11/2020 19:48

Says me**

paintfairy · 05/11/2020 09:20

It's boring doing it every day. And I get less done now than ever! After being in all day you don't want to do house jobs. Where as when you've been out, you come home a bit more fired up? I also never know what day it is. 🤣

Well I'm now on cycle 751 (or something 🤣). With no end in sight. I don't think I even care any more. I just would like to know why (because I hate not knowing things).

Juno231 · 05/11/2020 10:02

@paintfairy did AF show or is it gonna mess with your test again??

@MrsTwentyEight ha I also say I'm not gonna test until AF is late and that has yet to happen!

OP posts:
paintfairy · 05/11/2020 10:04

@Juno231 it'll be cd 4 by the time i go but I think that's still OK?

Juno231 · 05/11/2020 10:11

@paintfairy ah crap I missed AF arriving! CD4 should be fine, don't worry about it.

OP posts:
paintfairy · 05/11/2020 10:20

@Juno231 yeah I thought it would be.

Did you get your SA results yet?

paintfairy · 06/11/2020 09:08

Early cycle blood test done today. I do worry. Nurse didn't know what i was in for or what test to do. Had to find a dr. Even after I told her.
Then I thought I might as well book my dr follow up app whilst there (rather than wait for tests and then book) as nurse said test should be back by middle of next week and it takes ages to get an appointment.
Went to reception. Asked for appointment and that dr is at another practice (I don't mind that) and she was sending me there. I was like can't I have a phone appointment? I mean, I can go, but just for results I don't actually need to see anyone? So she's done phone. But in August I wasn't allowed to see a dr and now in lockdown we are? 😂 Literally bonkers. Maybe I should have gone but i thought we were meant to be minimising risk. 🙄
