TTC - Aug testers

Hello!!

Thought I’d start a group for all you ladies that are currently trying or have recently been trying in the hope to test early August.

Would be good to have the support during and give each other advice and positivity!

I’m on my 2nd month TTC and had my peak days on 19th/20th July. Earliest I can test is 31st. AF due 5th.

@AlwaysLay8 oh that's rubbish, I'm sorry. It sounds like you're being positive about the next month though! Get OH on some supplements too - I have mine on pre-conception for man stuff, as seems only fair that he joins me in the pill popping 😜

@Terri055 yes definitely a good shout. But still hoping it isn't over for either of us yet. I just took an IC and still seeing the same faint line which isn't getting darker, so wondering if it's 'line eyes' or I'm just going mad? 12 DPO today so surely it should be getting darker by now? If it isn't to be this month I will be joining your zen approach for cycle #3...

Still BFN for me. Had all the usual pre menstrual symptoms. Due AF from tomorrow onwards so anywhere between 6th and 10th I think.

Sorry for the TMI question but today seems more like "spotting" than proper flow...should I count this as "Day 1" of cycle or do I wait until there is proper flow that would soak a pad or tampon? Any thoughts appreciated...

@AlwaysLay8 As far as I know CD1 is counted from the first day of proper flow 😊

Hi Girls can i join?

My AF is due 13/08 and i seem to have long cycles (35 days?!) I had peak LH on opk on monday (20/7) and then DTD tues. i still have a week to wait and Im trying not to symptom spot this month and not testing until AF due, however i have woken up to a huge cold sore on my chin (ew gross!) and i'm wondering if it might be hormonal changes? i've not been stressed, eating healthy and not had one in ages! So i dont know why i would get one otherwise, could it be a sign?

Anyone else going through the same?

I'm now super confused! I thought Id ovulated CD13 based on my symptoms. The other day FF changed by ovulation date to CD21. Now it's changed it back to CD13. If this is the case I had a BFN on 12DPO.
Cycles are between 27 & 36 days so either day is feasible.
The Femometer app is saying I ovulated CD22.
Anyone know much about BBT charts? This is my first month temping.

@HouseOfRunners any news? I'm out for this month. Implantation bleeding just morphed into pre-AF spotting. Suspect I must have had a CP 😔

I’m BFN (posted before you) and I can feel AF is due to arrive any minute as well. Everything crossed for you x

@HouseOfRunners - just wanted to say that I have had the odd faint positive and then bfn's and feel like AF is due any minute (due Fri/Sat), but I'm still holding hope and I have some leftover for you too. It's not over until AF arrives. You're still in if she hasn't.

Hi girls can I join please. Today I'm on 5dpo and the waiting game to test is so hard. Will wait to 9 or 10dpo. Not sure on my period till the 16th August. Its lovely to see the positive pregnancy tests on here 😊😊

Sorry for TMI but I thought AF came early and it's been my weirdest period EVER. First on day 1 there was a tiny bit of skin like matter in my undies (sorry I did say it was tmi) but the weirdest thing has that it's been virtually painless and so light that I've barely soaked through one pair of thinx...also lasted less that 2 days. Very unusual for me, my periods are usually 3- 4 days and quite heavy and painful (though I have had a copper IUD in for a long while which notoriously makes them heavier and more painful.)
Maybe my cycle is changing a few months after IUD removal or....Could it have been implantation bleeding at 12DPO?
I'm pretty sure it's the first but I might POAS on Sunday just to double check

@HouseOfRunners how are you going? Have you done any more tests?

@AlwaysLay8 I have to say that my AF was like that after I had the copper coil out....I was so used to days and days of being heavy with a coil so it was a real shock to hardly have anything once it was gone. (I have, of course, got my fingers crossed it was implantation 🤞🏼)

Hey @LorrieLu yes, I tested today and a very clear BFN again but didn’t start AF yesterday. It’s definitely on the way...my cycles are a bit weird so I guess the latest will be by 10th. So I would have seen something today on a sensitive test. How are you?

Hi @HouseOfRunners hopefully something happens for you soon. The wait is terrible when you are either waiting for af or a positive result!
Af is finished for me and I'll be starting my ovulation tests in the next few days.

@LorrieLu Hello lovely, keep me updated on your ovulation tracking. I’m feeling this will be the one for you 💪🏼🙌🏼 Still no AF 🤷🏻‍♀️ Got massive AF symptoms though so literally waiting. I even went to a gym class to speed it up 😂 I’m sure it will be a middle of the night or early hours appearance!!

How's everyone getting on?

I'm currently CD32. Still no sign of AF.

I'm now not sure when I ovulated. My temps are all over the place! Looking at my app it could have been CD13/19/22 or 24 🤷🏻‍♀️.

@LemonDrizzle44 hello 😊 I got to day 34 before AF arrived, my cycles since coming off the pill are really irregular. I'd planned to just go with it and see what happens but I'll be using OPKs from next month as no idea when I ovulated, must have just missed it.
Are you using them too?

I have about 3 dates I guessed it could be too a bit like you, Ovia is useless and moved my fertile window on about 20 times 🙈

I'm so sorry @HouseOfRunners that af has turned up. Such a horrible feeling. Hoping next month is our month.
I have started my ovulation tests and got a negative yesterday and a flashing smiley today. Hopefully in the next few days it will peak.
