TTC - Aug testers

Hello!!

Thought I’d start a group for all you ladies that are currently trying or have recently been trying in the hope to test early August.

Would be good to have the support during and give each other advice and positivity!

I’m on my 2nd month TTC and had my peak days on 19th/20th July. Earliest I can test is 31st. AF due 5th.

@LemonDrizzle44 I’ve heard a few people say about vivid dreams!! So it could be! 11dpo is when mine showed up so try hold out a little longer! X

I hope you don’t mind me joining. AF is due on Tuesday, I tested this morning and got this....
I have read bad things about Sainsbury’s tests though so finding it hard to believe.

@HouseOfRunners that's interesting! I never knew about vivid dreams being a symptom until I googled it this morning. I don't usually dream (or if I do I don't remember). I checked the lunar calendar as I usually have nightmares with a full moon which isn't until Monday night, so it's not that 😂. I have 1 test left which I think is a clear blue one. Trying not to order more to prevent me from testing early.

@KatieFH AF is due Friday so will wait til then if I can.

@Anyday88 that looks pretty good and solid to me!!! Maybe grab a different brand test today and do again? Looking good though!!

@Anyday88 That looks like a positive line to me but I have to admit I’ve never used Sainsbury’s tests before!

@KatieFH can’t beat some holiday orangina 😄 Is your DH happy he’s seen the word pregnant?

I swear by the IC’s too....they are really sensitive. I know a lot of people slate them but I’ve never had any issues with them. If I remember I think my tests with DD were always stronger in the afternoon....I might try another later or just enjoy the weekend and see what happens next week 😊

@Anyday88 that’s a strong positive in my opinion.....try a FRER, they do say pink dye is much clearer.

@LemonDrizzle44 oh for sure, my dreams were insane when pregnant. I dream 99% of the time but the pregnant dreams were sooooo real that sometimes I wondered if they were real events 🤦🏽‍♀️😄

@HouseOfRunners with a previous pregnancy my tests were stronger in the afternoon for some reason. My fingers are crossed for you also! No lock down for us since April. We are in QLD. Victoria is getting hit pretty hard at the moment so they are in lock down.
Congrats to everyone with a positive so far! Very exciting!
I'll going to test again in the morning. This waiting game sucks haha

The panic has set in now! Started to feel sick and anxious! Think it’s just shock 😩 hoping it goes off!

@LorrieLu let us know what happens as soon as test is done....we are turning into line spotters 😁

@KatieFH oh no....I think it’s probably shock like you say. We strive for it and then when it happens we are like 😳 shiiiiiiiiiiiiit!! (That applies no matter how long you’ve been trying....)

I have just done a test and got the same line as yesterday. I'm going to take that as a negative for now as I should have been darker. Didn't do a frer as I only have one left!

Congratulations to you ladies that have got a BFP!.. I'm due on in 6 days, however I've started getting sore nipples! I'm not one to really symptom spot I just go with the flow, however this was my first symptom with my son x

Mine have been sore as well! I can't remember if I had it with previous pregnancies yet haha! I'm not exactly sure when my period is due, possibly in the next few days.
@HouseOfRunners have you tested yet?

I was going to wait for AF but I have been OUTRAGEOUSLY emotional the last week or so, almost like 10 day long PMS, crying, mood swings, poor DH hasn't known what's hit him. I normally only get PMS symptoms starting today. Plus had some very mild stitch like feelings and twinges in the boobs. So I miiight go POAS today just for 'fun'. But I am prepared for a BFN. Maybe I have been imagining the twinges and I'm just having a pissed off few weeks! 😂

@LorrieLu same for me....so today’s has no hint of a line again and I would expect to see something by now especially with how sensitive the ic’s are. Although it’s not over until AF turns up!

@LorrieLu think it’s every 48 hours that it should get darker so maybe test again tomorrow and see?

@HouseOfRunners had a test left in my suitcase so thought why the hell not - still pregnant 😂

Has anyone had implantation bleeding? I'm 9DPO, and had a bit of pink spotting when I wiped (sorry if TMI) this morning. It's a bit earlier than usual pre-period spotting, also a different colour. I also caved and did a test today with FMU / internet cheapie and there was a little squinter of a line, but so faint it was barely there. Keeping fingers crossed that I'll be joining the BFP wagon in a few days, and sending good vibes to the rest of you ladies x

@chillyfields that does sound like implantation indeed!! Do you have a picture we can squint at?

@HouseOfRunners ahaha too funny! I can’t help myself. Luckily DH (not officially husband but ah well) is doing all the suitcase carrying and pushing around now! Lovely holiday so far! Excited for Disneyland in a few days but now I can’t go on some of the rides!! Haha.
When is AF due for you? Did you get a faint line again on the IC? Xx

@HouseOfRunners no, sadly not. It was barely visible to the naked eye and I didn't want to jinx it! Lol pathetic I know 🤣

I'm 10dpo today and had no implantation bleeding. I had a dip in bbt at 5dpo so hoping that was an implantation dip.

The vivid dreams last night got worse! One even made me jump so much I woke myself up! Then when I went back to sleep I had another one, I was stuck in the middle of 6 tornadoes 😂🤦🏻‍♀️. I hope these don't continue. @HouseOfRunners do you remember how long your dreams went on for with your DD?
