TTC - Aug testers

Hello!!

Thought I’d start a group for all you ladies that are currently trying or have recently been trying in the hope to test early August.

Would be good to have the support during and give each other advice and positivity!

I’m on my 2nd month TTC and had my peak days on 19th/20th July. Earliest I can test is 31st. AF due 5th.

@bez91 I came off the pill in February. I had a couple of 27 day cycles then a 29, 30 and 31 day cycle. Last month it was 36 days. They just seem to be getting longer! I hope this one isn't longer than 36 days. Just temping at the moment to get a better idea of my cycles. Although me and DP are having regular unprotected sex we're not really properly TTC although this is the first month we've managed around my fertile period. We're just kind of going with the flow and if it happens great! We're in the process of buying a house together so once we've moved I'll start using OPKs and then can hopefully time DTD better.

@HouseOfRunners I think my first 2 possible ovulation dates are out the window and think the last 2 are more likely. In which case I'm either 8 or 10 dpo so still a bit early. If AF has not arrived by the weekend I will be testing!

I have peaked! Ovulated yesterday I'm pretty sure. Dtd heaps and now starting the waiting game 😒 plan on testing on 28th August if I can wait that long!

@LorrieLu good for you ❤️ now the 2ww to get through. Last day of AF for me yesterday so back to the opks.

@HouseOfRunners AF arrived for me on Friday. It was my first month tracking my BBT and I've noticed I have a 10 day luteal phase, which is borderline too short. Going to see how long it is this month (if AF arrives) otherwise going to have to try and extend it somehow.

I'm back for round 2, trying OPKs this month as my cycle is so irregular.

@HouseOfRunners also finished AF yesterday so will probably not be an official "August tester"

Husband is on call most of August so that means sometimes him being out the house for 16 hours, hopefully call outs will be kind on the peak days 😂
