Late period - BFN on tests!

Hi all!

I can't see a recent thread for anyone that AF is late for and still getting negative tests so thought I would start one as we are all in the same boat 👎🏻

I'm now two days late and CD30. The main symptoms I've been having is a tonne of CM - so much so that I thought AF had started, lots of cramping and last night my nipples were sore.

Anyone else in the same position or has ended up with a positive test eventually after all the negatives?

@Smushty14 I'm the same with the symptom spotting, keep getting waves of nausea but then thinking to myself "am I actually getting waves of nausea or am I wishing I am getting waves of nausea" 😂 CD36 today and not much to report, my FRERs aren't being delivered until between 5&7pm 😩😩😩 getting impatient!
When will you test again?

So another BFN from me 😩😩 admittedly this was taken at 5pm with diluted urine (and not much of it) but still not even a hint of a line! Argh never thought I'd wish for AF to come along now! X

@tootiredtoclean ugh it's so frustrating when doctors do that!

I absolutely love my morning coffee so I was really upset this morning when it just tasted off. I even made a second one out of a sachet that I know I like to double check 😩

@muda After today's symptoms I really want to test tomorrow but I also don't want to in case it's negative again.

@sle0911 Oh no it could be because it's late in the day and you have drunk a lot? When are you going to test again?

@Smushty14 yeh I'm holding on to that as a reason 😂🤞🏼 I might use my last test with FMU tomorrow and if another BFN il consider myself well and truly out 😩

I've had spotting again, waiting to see if it'll develop or if it has stopped. Never thought I'd be happy to see AF but I feel slightly relieved that it might be starting so I can start again, so can definitely relate @Muda

@Smushty14 have you tested? I've done another with FMU and have the faintest ever line, I can just about see it without squinting and it looks like it has a bit of pink to it and showed up within 3-5 mins, not getting my hopes up yet though as could be evap/indent although just looked back at my test from yesterday and not a line to be seen at all! X

@sle0911 Ooh that's positive if you can see a colour line!!! Fingers crossed for you!! Yep just tested and still nothing 🧐 it was a first response rapid response test so not sure how sensitive it is?

Still no sign of AF and now CD32...

I will order some more tests if AF still hasn't shown her face by Saturday.

@sle0911 that sounds like good news. Are you going to test again in the next couple of days to see if you get a darker line?

@Muda I'm really trying not to get hopes up as have read a lot about FRERs having these lines and ends up being nothing 😩 I'm going to try my hardest to hold out another couple of days! 🤞🏼

@sle0911 have you got a picture? Is the line pink?

@tootiredtoclean I have a pic (also done the classic black and white 😂) it's clearer in real life, so I know some people may say they can't see it! And I can see pink too! But still no hopes have been raised, gonna hold out another couple of days if AF doesn't show!

@sle0911 I can definitely see something. It's there! Hopefully the line gets darker in a few days 🤞

AF hasn't arrived for me so that's been my 3rd lot of spotting and 7 weeks since my last AF. Xx

Only with IC lately. I'm going to pop into ASDA on Saturday to get some but I don't think it'll be a BFP. Just stuck in limbo.

There's a definite line there! @sle0911 let us know how the others go

Hey @Smushty14 I've resisted the urge to test today, have a FRER which I might use in the morning, CD38 for me and the past 2 hours have felt really nauseous 🙈 just all of a sudden! How are you doing? Any symptoms? Tested again today? X

@sle0911 That sounds positive!! I've just got the usual cramping today but other than that nothing.

No I don't have any tests in the house and I'm holding off on ordering any more until Saturday arrives and to make sure AF still hasn't come.

It's my partners birthday on Friday so I'm a bit gutted I haven't had a positive so far as people will be drinking - social distancing garden party of 6 of us 🎉 I think I will have a drink as without a positive test, it could be I'm not pregnant and AF just doesn't want to turn up

Oh and my nipples are really sore 🙈

@Smushty14 definitely enjoy the BBQ. We were the same last week. Was hoping for a BFP to make the birthday extra special but planning never seems to work out.

I'm phoning my doctor next week and as I have blood tests anyway see if they will do some more to see if they can find out where AF has gone. I've given up on a BFP as I would have thought one would of happened by now.

@Smushty14 I would defo have a drink at the garden party 🥂 hopefully it will help take your mind off it a bit too! Your symptoms sound promising though 🤞🏼

@tootiredtoclean what CD are you now? I feel the same, given up hope a bit now 😩 sooo frustrating isn't it!

I'm still none the wiser, pretty much a BFN again today, can see the faintest line if shining a light/holding at a certain angle but pretty sure it may be an indent 😩 CD39 now and getting annoyed! Also my Ovia app has me down at ovulating today and has told me I've just "missed a period" 🤷🏼‍♀️ who knows! This might explain the nausea yesterday and I also felt a quick pain in my right ovary area last night!

@sle0911 have you tried with an OPK? Your FRER is definitely more of a squinter than your last one.

I'm now day 54. I was going to test this morning but forget so it will have to wait for the weekend. Will phone the GP Tuesday when my second AF has been missed and persuade them to check my bloods hopefully 🤞
