BBT still above coverline after bleed. Help?

Evening all.

I am looking for some advice and opinions please. This is my first month tracking bbt but it hasn’t dropped before AF when I expected it to.

CD19 - Ovulation according to clear blue monitor
12DPO - very very faint line. Brown spotting.
13DPO - another faint line. Heavy dark red bleeding. Assumed AF or chemical pregnancy loss.
14DPO - brown spotting, no red.
15DPO - light brown spotting. Faint line, looks darker than before but still stupidly faint.

I’m really confused and unsure as to what could be happening.

Any help would be appreciated.

The drs just said to go to A&E if I experience any pain but other than that they didn’t have much to say about it. She actually said I know more than she does... sigh. Anyway, I don’t have any symptoms. Maybe mild cramps if I think about it but very mild.

I'm not sure what's going on OP but for every cycle I had where I didn't fall pregnant my temp ALWAYS dropped significantly within 24 hours of AF appearing. Unfortunately I think you'll be in limbo until you get some stronger lines or AF appears, hopefully the former.

Thank you for replying. I’d literally read last month that 18 days of high temps confirmed a pregnancy and was saying how exciting it would be to see that happen. We’ve been trying over a year so I thought I’d try tracking bbt to make sure I was ovulating. I was not expecting this! I genuinely thought the cycle was over when I started bleeding but now I am just so confused! Xx

No wonder! On the plus side, your chart confirms you're ovulating. Although I've not experienced it myself, you do often read stories on here about people bleeding for a day or so very early on and the pregnancy continuing as normal. Fingers crossed!

@NannyPear yeah I was relieved to see the rise after ovulation although my mucas wasn’t egg white like it’s meant to be. It’s all so draining, we are just waiting to be referred to the fertility clinic so doing anything I can at the moment to help with tracking.

I really hope that is the case but my guts telling me I’m not pregnant 💔 xx

Test again in a couple of days

You are way above the cover line @kcf90 which would be a positive sign, but the test is really faint.
When is AF due? Or has the due date passed? I have heard that some people don’t get positive until a while after AF was due...
I guess although it’s not ideal, you need to wait to see whether your spotting develops in to AF.

@milkshake54 thanks for you reply. In honesty I couldn’t even see anything on today’s test which has left me disheartened.

I spotted on 12DPO, had a heavy dark red bleed on 13 and then had brown spotting for 2 further days and this morning. AF varies between cd30 to 35. The bleed was cycle day 32 so I put it down as a period but the high temps are leaving me confused xx

Personally I'd get a FRER just to make sure.

@NoCallerID I’m struggling to get to the shop at the moment but I had assumed that if the other tests were negative then that would be too as it’s no longer early days? Xx

@kcf90 I buy them off amazon. It's very strange that you had a different bleed to normal and even more that your temp has stayed up.... unless you're unwell?

@NoCallerID I’ve bought some on eBay but they won’t arrive until next week. Yeah it all seems a little out of the ordinary. I don’t feel ill either xx

I'm currently on CD25 😩 I've had postive opks for four days, after ten days of flashing smileys and Ewcm. It's a never ending cycle!!!! Can not possibly DTD again tonight x

@kcf90 also I've been temping for a while now, your chart Most definitely confirms ovulation! So that is something positive xxx

@AnxiousAnnie86 I’ve bought some FRER ones on eBay but have plenty of easy@homes ones left. Wasting them for BFN. I did have some faint lines on my ICs but were really faint, run out of those now. It just doesn’t make sense.

I’m worried I’ve temped wrong and that this is my normal temp and I never ovulated. It’s so confusing.

Wow that’s a long fertile period. Did you get a peak? Lots of EWCM is good news though. That’s one area I worry I’m lacking in. Tried preseed this month for the 1st time.

Haha have a break from DTD tonight and try in the morning. We struggle every day over the peak days but tried to sperm meets egg plan this month too. Just wish I could tell you it worked xx

@kcf90 have you tried taking evening primrose oil?! That's supposed to improve fertile CM and I've had so so much this month so I think it may work? You only take it up to day of ovulation though......

Are you taking temp at same time everyday? I wouldn't worry about your temps, they deffo look to confirm OV!?? Also just an idea but have you got an opks? Just out of interest if you do, take one? I found out I was pregnant last October via an opk when it was positive, sadly didn't last.

Yeah I got a peak on clear blue digital four days ago and hade peaks everyday since, just now got a negative, but worried It won't stay down, will hopefully confirm temp rise tomorrow! X

@AnxiousAnnie86 I was planning to take evening primrose oil this cycle as well as try the soft cup method. But I daren’t take the EPO in case something is going on with me now?

Yeah I’ve been taking temp the same time every day or scaling it on the days I woke up early. Does it make that much difference where I position it in my mouth? Hahaha.

I have a clear blue fertility monitor which confirmed peak and then wouldn’t let me test again. But I’ve purchased some opks for next month. I took one today but it wasn’t overly dark. I’ll attach a photo.

Hopefully your temp will confirm it and then follow with implantation hun 🤞🏻 Xxx

@kcf90 that's the problem with them and not being able to test again I'm same, but I use cheap opks alongside to confirm,
Has the bleeding stopped now? It could possibly of been late implantation which if that was only two days ago then it won't show on those cheapies yet?

My temp has risen, very slightly this morn, I normally get a big rise straight after, but my opk is still pretty dark :(we didn't DTD yest day so I'm worried I missed OV day, but we did the three days before that? X
