Pregnancy after MMC

Hi Everyone,
Unfortunately I had a MMC on our second pregnancy last month. (I have a 1 year old)
I should of been 9 weeks at my Scan but baby was only 8 weeks 4 so it had just happened. 3 days later I had a private D&C as I didn’t want to risk the hospital/ the trauma of dealing with it at home with my little boy.
I had bleeding on and off for 2 weeks after (6th of April was the D&C) I had regular bloody tests, my last one my HCG had come down to 70 so 3 days later I got my first negative test.
I had an internal to confirm no retained pregnancy and was given the all clear to try again straight away. I’ve had cystitis this weekend to add to my problems and now I’m getting this on my tests. Had anyone experienced anything similar, what are your thoughts? Feel like my body’s just giving up on me haha! I’d love to be pregnant again but I’d just be surprised if it could all happen within such a small time scale

Exactly try and enjoy it! Don’t drive yourself mad with tests as what will he will he and there’s nothing you can do to change it! @Frankincense88 when are you going to start testing? I’ve moved the tests out the bathroom so they aren’t easily accessible in the mornings Hahaha!

@Bells993 - that is getting there! I got my first very faint line at 9DPO, but waited until 11DPO for the first properly visible line. I guess each of us is different though as it all depends when we implanted!

Hi ladies,

7DPO today, I'll probs start testing maybe Sunday as that's when AF is due. Last time I tested at 10DPO and got nothing, then again at 13DPO and got my positive so I think I'll try and hold on for as long as I can!

Had my first day back in practice today it was very strange but working from home now till Friday. This next month should fly by! I am so excited that I wont be to far behind you all so hopefully we can all stick together!

@Leaf87 definitely agree! July is just days away and before you know it you'll be back on your TTC journey!

I'm driving myself insane symptom spotting and checking flo to see how many days until AF even though I know 😂 why am I like this 🙃🙃🙃

Hello all again! (I was last on here in April/May)

I am 12DPO, and had a BFP (big fat positive) every day since 10DPO. I am so nervous, as I had a chemical pregnancy in April (at 4.5 weeks), so really hoping it doesn't happen again.

Anyone else in the same boat!?! Xx

@MrsBlue1986 - Congratulations!

I am currently 25DPO and also got my first signs of a BFP from 9DPO!
Keep positive and hopefully everything will be fine.

I have been eating healthy food (mostly fruit and veg) and taking my supplements still. I also just listen to my body, in that if I get cramps, I take it easy for the rest of the day.

BFN for me today at 10DPO :( don’t know why I do it to myself! I’ll wait till Friday now I guess. Try and test every 2/3 days from now so I don’t waste loads of tests. Unless AF shows. Not due on till the 5/6th

@msanne I am glad your taking things slowly, your right you just need to take each day as it comes and look after yourself!
@Frankincense88 any updates...... not long until you can start testing now!

I am here on the count down.... next test due at charringcross on the 20th so slowly wishing the month away. Back in work next week so that will help!

@bells993 @leaf87 9DPO for me today, did a cheapie teat last night to get it out of my system and BFN for me too but I'll try and hold out now until the weekend! Trying not to symptom spot but I was fast asleep at 8pm last night after a 3 day headache! Think it's just the weather / work knackering me out though! Will maybe test again Friday but ideally if I've got the strength (ha) will hold out until Sunday. We got this @bells993 xxx

I am just hoping to god mine sticks!!! My period is technically due tomorrow so hoping that doesn't come anyway haha. Im so worried about another chemical!!!

Im 13DPO and have constant nagging groin pulling pain, anyone else have this!?!? Dont remember rhis last time... xx

@MrsBlue1986 - yes that is totally normal! I've felt that my cramping and stretching is getting progressively stronger as the days go by. I also feel super bloated and gassy (which isn't fun)!

I'm on tenterhooks ladies for more testing ladies! xoxo

@msanne ive not had too much stretching. Had a few cramps but nothing too noticeable. Completely gone off food in general - so unlike me.😂 Also this time im having major digestion issues. Wind in all forms 🙈😂 and im going from constipation to diarrhoea in the space of a day. 😳 x

14DPO such missed emotions 😭😭😭❤️ Never tested this early before both times I had solid lines! This came up pretty quick so I’ll do a digital next week but trying not to get too excited/ worried xx

@bells993 I'm basically testing everyday - BFN again this morning but I had a pinkish tinge last night after I went to the loo so thought I might see something this morning but nothing. Symptom wise nothing to indicate AF or a BFP so guess I'll test until Monday and see. 12DPO today with AF due anytime between now and Monday. Make sure you're resting this weekend!! xxx

AF arrived for me this morning ladies. Gutted. We've decided to actively 'try' for one more cycle then if it doesn't happen we're going to stop for a few months because it's too much pressure and disappointment. 7th time lucky?! Xoxo
