Probably the only place I feel comfortable enough to share details of when I had sex and what is going on with my vagina 😳
So as the title says I'm 40 and some extra and desperately ttc since 2017, I've had 2 miscarriages in this time 1 being a Mmc and the other at week 12 which was horrendous. If you want to join for some love, support and a chat please do!
Don't let me be Billy no mates 😢

@Mumof4andahalf wow that's amazing! What dpo are you?

Mumof4andahalf · 18/05/2020 21:11

@lucieloos 13 dpo I think. I've had 2 losses in 2 years though so trying hard not to get my hopes up.

I’ve had three mc this last year - I totally hear you . Are you doing baby aspirin ? I’m going to do that if I’m lucky to get a bfp . Wishing you a happy and healthy 9 months , I know it’s hard to get excited and you probably won’t until 12 week scan but I hope you feel happy for now xx

Mumof4andahalf · 18/05/2020 21:44

@Sunshinelove8 I'm not sure about baby aspirin, can it help and is it safe? Do I need to take advice from a m/w before starting it?
I'm very excited just apprehensive

It can help if mc is caused by something called sticky blood . Anti phospholipid (can’t spell it) syndrome . Some mcs are caused by this . I’ve read a lot about it . At the fertility clinic I got tests done out they give it as standard if you get bfp. The only negative I read is that a study found it could increase bleeds (haematoma) but it seemed to be in conjunction with other things like steroids. The dosage is so low (hence ‘baby’) my sister also took it and had two healthy pregnancies after mcs . I’m just going to give it a shot as I want to do something different after mcs. Why don’t you have a read and ask midwife x

Anxiousbuthopeful · 18/05/2020 23:01

Oh my god @Mumof4andahalf congratulations! I am so pleased for you. Fingers crossed.

Mumof4andahalf · 18/05/2020 23:05

@Sunshinelove8 yes I will, I took it after my miscarriage as it was supposed to help and it seemed to but when I looked online there seems to be so much conflicting advice as always 🙄 I will contact doctors tomorrow.

So 13dpo I did a frer with fmu. I thought a faint line came up straight away. Not too much squinting but not pink. Thought I would do a digi just so I knew once and for all and it was not pregnant so that's the end of that. Still no af though. I'm 3 days late now and just fed up and wish it would hurry up so can get all this over with.

Mumof4andahalf · 19/05/2020 10:01

@lucieloos the digi's are not as sensitive as frer so dont give up hope yet x

OP posts:
lucieloos · 19/05/2020 10:12

@Mumof4andahalf no maybe not but at 13dpo I would expect a decent line on a frer. I'm finding them so bad for evaps now which is probably what this is. They didn't use to be like this a few years back. Could always rely on them but not anymore.

Mumof4andahalf · 19/05/2020 11:24

@lucieloos I'm so sorry if it's an evap. I always thought frer were the best.

How is everyone doing? Has gone very quiet

lucieloos · 21/05/2020 23:15

AF arrived for me so back to starting again.

Anxiousbuthopeful · 26/05/2020 11:02

Hi @Mumof4andahalf - how is it going? Anyone else in TWW? I am 11 DPO and wondering whether to test. Is it too soon?

Chickoletta · 26/05/2020 12:18

Just catching up with this thread. So pleased for you @Mumof4andahalf - hope you’re feeling ok.

I’m now back in the game. First AF since my MMC came last Weds. Day 33 dated from start of MC bleeding. Everything feels back to normal and I’m feeling really hopeful that I soon maybe pg again. CD7 today.

Chickoletta · 26/05/2020 12:20

@Anxiousbuthopeful - I had a BFP on a FRER 10dpo last time. Don’t lose hope if it’s negative though.

Mumof4andahalf · 26/05/2020 12:21

@Chickoletta Thankyou! I'm taking each day as it comes, trying not to get my hopes up. I've heard you're really fertile after a mmc so fingers crossed you fall quickly again 🤞🏻

@Jaylou7 - how are you getting on?

Sembinmeier20 · 26/05/2020 12:44

@Anxiousbuthopeful am also 11dpo! Not spotted any symptoms yet so don’t hold out too much hope for a bfp this month! Trying to hold of testing till Friday if AF hasent shown up by then.

Mumof4andahalf · 26/05/2020 13:32

@Sembinmeier20 I had no symptomns either 😉
