Ready is having difficulty in getting on the other thread due to length of it, so started a new one.

Rattling - ARE YOU THERE??? I am hoping that your disappearance is a good thing, and that you will be joining us with news of a BFP really soon!!!! Fingers crossed.

Gracie - I am so sorry about the temp drop. Big hugs. Plenty of your naughtiest/favourite treats are in order!!

Rah - Congrats on the weightloss!! I had been doing well myself, but the stress of the house sale is forcing me to eat!

minxi - Fingers crossed that a little swimmer found his way through.

Thinking- You sound sleepy!! Go nap Hope you are ok?

LittleSquirt - We are overdue a BFP for sure on this thread!!

nh101 - Good luck for the weekend

NappyValley -Fettle was induced, didn't have a c-section. She has a liver condition, and that meant she was monitored daily.
How are you doing?

Hope everyone is ok?? I have run out of time, so must stop waffling now!

nh101 · 20/09/2007 15:30

Gracie it is shit isn't it? Having my MC and then TTC again has been the blackest time of my whole life. I don't know how people go through years of ttc. I was lucky I got pg first cycle ttc (but MC'd anyway in march). I am on Clomid now cos AFs were AWOL - first Clomid AF is due Monday. Am going to test tomorrow (am quietly confident )

But I am 30 and I never worried about my age in terms of having kids, but I now realise that was a bit short-sighted

Hi Ready!!!

I know what you mean nh101, I am 31 (32 at the end of next month) and only started feeling broody last year. Now I feel envious of all the people who are TTC and still in their 20's, I feel like it would be easier for me if I was younger - although thinking about it I'm not sure why because everyone around me seems to be pregnant or giving birth right now and they are all older than me.
Actually just found about about another pregnancy today and she is 40! Didn't seem to have any issues, fell as soon as they decided to TTC again after their DD1! I am very happy for her but also very and a bit .

Ready · 20/09/2007 20:26

I wonder how much different it feels ttc in your 20s. I am still in my 20s (28) and have been ttc over a year now, and it's hard going. I assume it must feel harder if you are in your 30s?? Sigh. Not trying to make anyone feel bad - it's just something that I think about.

What are the age ranges on this thread at the moment?? The group has changed a fair bit since it began

I'll start:
Ready, 28, 13th cycle ttc baby #1

Ohhhhh Ready... I'm in my 30's... I'm so of you being in your 20's..

BOOOOHOOOOOO... I'm going off to weep in a corner

I'm Rah - aged 32, 11th cycle since having Bertie our first baby who we sadly lost after he was born. We tried for 18 months for him, so we been trying for ages in total!
Right I'm even more depressed, so off to crack open a new bag of herbs.. lol..

OP posts:
Ready · 20/09/2007 21:09

((((((((hugs))))))))))

I didn't want to make anyone sad... I am just pondering. V down in the dumps today.

Thinking · 20/09/2007 21:19

Age wise...Early 30's here

Would chat but still very tired and chilly think I'm going down with DD's cold, so off to bed again...roll on the weekend when I can be slack about the housework and not have to go to any parenting groups and just chill with DD and DH.

Knowing we have practically no chance of conceiving due to my long cycles and DH lack of energy, on a good point has made this a really relaxed cycle.

Though I am still really hoping that AF shows in a reasonable 28/30 days cycle and then next month we can start temping properly again.

Good luck to all the ladies post ovulation :-

LittleSquirt · 20/09/2007 23:16

Thank you Thinking - you know what they say, it's always when you relax that it happens. I hope so for you Darling

Where is Rattling?? She holds the most hope of a BFP right now! I hope she got it and is too busy celebrating to drop us a line!!

Ready I feel down in the dumps today too but chatting to you guys has made me feel better. I have no idea how I would have copied with my MMC if it wasn't for MN!

Oh Rah, your story is so sad, I am so sorry I know there are happier times coming for you though. Fingers crossed you get a BFP soon! x

I am almost 32, started TTC#1 in April, had a MMC in June, now 3rd cycle since ERPC early July.

Well, temperature slightly up today and here I am, feeling gutted that it's not dipping as I am 7DPO today. Am I being unreasonable?

LittleSquirt · 21/09/2007 08:06

minxi - your temp dropped and mine was up slightly, wanna swap??

duchesse · 21/09/2007 08:43

I am 39, will be 40 in January (although obviously it's a preposterous suggestion as I am in fact still 27), ttc number 4 for 4.5 years. Fertility is supposed to decrease markedly past age 35, so I'm bucking the trend.

fettleandminifettle · 21/09/2007 10:53

Knock-knock!

Just popping in to say it is possible, please don't give up!

It took us 2 years to conceive DD, started trying when 27, had her when 29. Then baby Toby and the first graduate from this very thread arrived on Wednesday evening after nearly 2 years, with 2 mcs during that time, (me aged 32).

Big hugs and love to you all and I'm leaving behind my pregnancy hormones with you all, in the hope that the pregnancy panda smells them and comes visiting you all again.

Take care all
xxx

nh101 · 21/09/2007 11:10

Littlesquirt - my temp dipped on 9DPO, I think it must have been an implantation dip cos I got a BFP this morning!

I had to take two tests because the first one had such a faint line I was convinced it was an evap line, although DH said he could see it too so I knew I wasn't being totally bonkers. That was with the first wee of the day, so half an hour later (before I'd had anything to drink) I squeezed out a bit more wee and the line was much stronger - a definite line!

It is six months to the day since my MC was confirmed.

My period isn't even due to Monday so fingers crossed this is not a chemical PG....

But for now I am happy!

And I just heard from the gynae who says all my blood tests came back normal. So I told his secretary to tell him I am now up the duff and to thank him so much. I want to just give him a big kiss cos he gave me Clomid.

LittleSquirt · 21/09/2007 11:17

OMG!!! congratulations nh101!!!!!!!!!! So, so, so happy for you!!!!

Wow, congrats nh101 Fantastic news

Well although temp is slightly up from yesterday I had a day off which meant abit of a lay in so that explains that and plenty of cramps to top that as well Never mind heres to next month.

Just adding that I'm 25 and been off the bcp since last August, and no pregnancy so far
I think it just goes to show that whatever age you are this ttc stuff isn't easy.

Positive thoughts for the rest of you this month and congrats again nh101

NappyValley · 21/09/2007 21:18

Oh sorry been a bit busy and missed so much!!
nh101 that is such wonderful news congrats for you. Hope this is the first of several this month.

fettle thanks for dropping in and sharing your joyful news and lots of little baby huge and kisses for Toby and new BIG sister. It has really encouraged us I think.

As we are sharing tales, I am 33 ( 34 next month) with 1 cheeky DS who is 22 months. We took 11 cycles to fall with DS, and are now on cycle 15 this time. Temping has been a great help as it helps us with timing but has also shown that my LP has changed from 14 (pre baby) to 9 days!

I am feeling really excited for you all this month though.

Are there any other graduates lurking still . How are those bumps growing?

Morning girls....big hike in temp for me this morning - but still not sure when ov occurred as ff doesn't know either due to lack of temping at start of cycle This month will be a total washout due to bd on cd10 and nothing throughout cd11-16 as dh away!!

Hope everyone is well....feeling tired today due to wine indulgence last night

Hope you are ok Ready.... Gracie and Rattling hope your not back to the start again and we will have a record month of bfp's on this post!!

Morning Minxi, morning everyone!!!

Your temp did go up loads Minxi, if it goes up again tomorrow (even a little bit this time) then you probably OV yesterday. FF should still show this - even with lack of temps at beginning of cycle.

Bit of a temp dip for me today but not reading too much into it. Did BD at all the right times this month but only stopped the pill recently and not getting enough CM I think (sorry if TMI) so not got a good feeling about this month

I think I will indulge in a spot of retail therapy to cheer myself up today.
