I know!!!!! I'm feeling quite pleased with myself today!! hee hee.

It was very intimate (quite unuual after 9 months of ttc - it's normally wham, bam, thank you mam, kind of sex)

It felt like we were having sex because we wanted to NOT because we HAD to - great feeling!!!!!

Anyway, I bet my dh is REALLY glad I'm sharing this with you

sweetheart · 04/10/2004 11:50

runtus · 04/10/2004 11:57

Everyone's gone quite cos we are all so jealous!

Only kidding - really pleased for you both, sounds like you all had a great time last night!

There must have been something in the air, cos it was all a bit lively in our house too!

MrsWednesday · 04/10/2004 12:01

There was nothing in the air in my house - DH was sulking about it this morning . My excuse was I was too bloody tired after 2 kids parties and a night out in less than 24 hours!

I was more than anything else sweetheart!

MINNIE1 · 04/10/2004 12:25

sweetheart, You go girl..
I have to say i am of you, bding has been slack this wkend!!!
SO who is testing sooooon???

runtus · 04/10/2004 13:09

I had almost decided to test just now but then went to the loo and spotted some light red on the loo roll.....now not sure if af on way or just a bit too forceful bding last night (TMIIK, sorry).

To scared to test now.

sweetheart · 04/10/2004 13:22

thanks girls - glad to hear I wasn't the only one

Runtus, maybe you should wait until tomorrow and see if af arrives - that way if it does you can have spent the whole of today feeling excited that you might be preg and you'll save yourself £5!!! I don't know about you but this ttc lark is getting bloody expensive for me!!!!

krocket · 04/10/2004 13:27

hi can I come in and rant please.
every month it's the same, I get AF symptoms like clockwork about 8 days before AF, spots, bloating etc. It's horrible because then I have 8 days of thinking, "well you're definitley not pregnant again" and yet there is always a tiny part thinking "well maybe". I wish I didn't get AF symptoms and then it wouldn't prolong the inevitable so long
good luck sweetheart and runtus

runtus · 04/10/2004 13:32

Lets face it, the whole bloody thing is enough to make you hit the bottle! I can see now why people have to take time off from ttc once in a while...

krocket · 04/10/2004 13:39

I know runtus, it's vile sometimes isn't it.
I will now spend the next 8 days waiting for AF which I know is going to come whilst being tortured by vague, fleeting possiblity that could be pregnant.

sweetheart · 04/10/2004 13:39

kr,

Can you turn this into a positive thing?!?!?!? Ie, because you have the symptoms you don't have to spend days agonising over wether af is coming or not. I don't have symptoms normally and my cycle can be anything from 29 days + so it's a really long waiting game some months.

Realistically - I do know it's crap and i'd love to give you a big bear hug!!!

You know what the answer is don't you.......... CHOCOLATE CAKE!!!!!!!!!!

krocket · 04/10/2004 13:43

I guess that's one way of looking at it sweetheart, thanks, and I am grateful that cycle is only 28 days.

I had a weird thing happen this month though. Got CM around day 9 (not had before and put it down to the starflower oil I've been taking) and always on a fixed 28 day cycle. is CM a sign you are going to OV or that you have OVed?
Also, (and I realise how dim I am going to sound here but...) I get AF on day 28 of cycle (thus it becomes CD1) so does that make my cycle 27 or 28 days? Have been using persona for 4 months but hasn't detected OV days yet so have just ordered ov tests from medisave. Sorry for the ramble.

sweetheart · 04/10/2004 13:48

if you get af on cd28 - it's actually cd1 and your cycle is 27 days.

I think getting cm means you will ovulate in the next 24-28 hours but not 100% sure on that one.

Medisave are a godsend aren't they - I ordered a load of ovulation kids last week. Am using the lid of dh's deodarant to collect my sample each morning as someone else euggested

sweetheart · 04/10/2004 13:49

sorry I meant 24-48 hours!!!!

Geordie · 04/10/2004 13:51

Hi Kr,

basically when both lines are about equal on the persona sticks (or the one that starts off faint gets darker than the other one) that's O time- they are just the same as Opk's but the machine reads them.

as for cycle days- day one is the first day of full bleeding so if you start part way through day 28 then day one is day 29 (meaning you have a 28 day cycle) if day 28 is ful day of bleding then your cycle will be 27 days. CM is usually a sign that you are going to ov and should get bd!!

hth

sweetheart · 04/10/2004 14:00

wow, thats very informative Geordie!!!

I never knew that about cd's. I always though whenever you started bleeding was day 1!!!!!

Geordie · 04/10/2004 14:46

basically if af arrives in the am I count it as cd 1 if it arrives in the pm i count the next day as cd 1- think that came from the toni wecshler book!!

Cobweb · 04/10/2004 15:05

Hi girls, don't know if I am allowed on this thread or not as I was on the other thread and a graduate

I just don't feel ready to be shouting from the rooftops and seem to want to cling to the familiarity of you lovely girls.

Hope you understand, but for those of you that don't, well I had a very traumatic miscarriage back in July and have only just found out that I am pregnant. Had a BFP on 23rd September and again on 27th and 29th but still can't believe it.

I know I am probably worrying unnecessarily, but I think I would prefer to stay here if I am allowed.

Cobweb xxx

sweetheart · 04/10/2004 15:07

Cobweb,

I think I speak for everyone when I say of course your allowed!!!!

Perhaps your presence will bring us all some good luck

runtus · 04/10/2004 15:18

MINNIE1 · 04/10/2004 15:26
