Thanks for your kind messages. Thank god for this place - I can get it out of my system here and put a brave face on for everyone else.

Have a fun Saturday night everyone.

Twiga · 02/10/2004 22:35

Miaou, that's great another one of us in Scotland - are you getting the same dodgy weather as us up here? When you say offshore is that your job, or are you on an island (sense of geography's pants so not sure which one)?

{{{{{hugs}}}}} MrsWednesday, don't feel bad about feeling down - got a similar situation here with our friends in that one couple just had and another couple we know are due two weeks after what would have been our due date in March 05. It is such a weird time emotionally, happy for them but gutted for your own situation - all part of the process. Hang on in there and hopefully some happy news this month!?! Have a lovely party x

Miaou · 02/10/2004 22:37

Yes Twiga I live on Isle of Muck (in between Skye and Mull - ish) - I will have to travel to Inverness to have db (after having got pg first, that is!!)

And yes weather is crap atm - dh is stuck on mainland - thank god I have got AF!!!

Twiga · 02/10/2004 23:13

Ahha, got ya - haven't seen too much of the west coast, dh and I cycled 250 miles around Dumfries and Galloway a couple of summers back. We keep meaning to get out to some of the islands, and further north on that side of things. Sounds like Af timed well this cycle - will he get across soon? Inverness is a lovely city, dh really enjoyed working in the hospital when he was doing his medical training. Lived at Kinloss for a while as a kid so know the area quite well. Don't make them too jumpy on the boat when you eventually get to having db, could make for an interesting story - Grampian headliner even !

Miaou · 02/10/2004 23:28

Dh should hopefully be back Tuesday, weather permitting! Raigmore seems to be quite nice, only dealt with the childrens inpatient department so far, and have heard varying birth stories, but it gets a good appraisal on Dr Foster, which is reassuring. I would have to leave the island at least two weeks before I was due, can't leave it any later really just in case - not allowed to fly in a helicopter when in labour, and it's at least a four hour journey by lifeboat and ambulance (done that too!!)

MommyD · 03/10/2004 08:27

Morning all! cd 11 today and dh goes away for the week tomorrow.
Very unlikely to happen for me this month (my first month of trying for #3!)
Good Luck all!

Hulababy · 03/10/2004 08:28

Hi MommyD Pain isn't when your plans go pear shaped - argh!

I'm on CD26 so on a waiting game. As it is also first month of TTC (#2) and just come off the pill I have no idea when AF is due, although I do think I OVd on CD18.

cp3 · 03/10/2004 10:47

Mommyd if you bd tomorrow ust before he leaves you could still concieve and your dh will also leave happy

hiya,

lots of due to possibly test soon!!!

I am currently on cd 27- but ovulated on cd 18...9 days ago! temps still up but no implantation signs- af due in 6-7 days time i think...if no af on sunday next week and temp still high I will test!!

good luck to everyone else waiting to test- really hope we get loads of encouraging ++++++++ soon!!

Geordie

ps- bought early preggie tests so might not make it to sun....we'll see!

Hulababy · 03/10/2004 21:16

Oh Geordie - we are at virtually the same stage. I'm on CD26, and OVd on CD18. No idea when AF is due as first month off pill; can't remember from before then what it was like. Must be sometime this coming week.

Good luck to you (and to everyone else of course)

muddaofsuburbia · 03/10/2004 21:54

Hi - am torn!

CD29 and no sign of AF...

Will hold off testing til Tuesday, just in case I'm late (for the first time in my life), but IF I am pg, then I think I'll wait til family etc know before posting on here, cos I'd really like them to be the first to know. Plus I know some folks in RL read my postings and I'd hate the news to break here before letting people know "properly".

BUT I don't even know if I am pg!!!! Don't I have enough to stress about without worrying about what ifs?! Doh!

However, if I'm not pg(and hey I'm only 2 days late) then I'll be back moping around here again asking for persuasion tactics to get dh to agree to using Ov kits

does any of that make sense?

Hulababy · 04/10/2004 08:20

Are you planning of testing? Or just wait and see?

On CD27 today. Temp down a bit, but it is like a yoyo most of time!!! Have AF symptoms though - lower back ache, a bit of tummy ache, etc.

muddaofsuburbia · 04/10/2004 08:35

If AF hasn't appeared by tomorrow then I'll test. Hopefully my silence will speak volumes cos if it's a BFN then I'll be posting on this thread again IYSWIM!

Hulababy · 04/10/2004 08:37

Good luck then.

runtus · 04/10/2004 08:42

Morning all, great new thread! The old one was just toooo long to scroll down.......here's hoping it is just as lucky as no 10 was! SOunds like there are some likely candidates already.....

Somehow I have managed not to test over the weekend!I'm sort of too scared to becuase I don't want to be disappointed again and the longer I leave it, the longer I can delude myself. Still not got any pg symptoms really but not come on either so I guess it could go either way. CD35 but have had longer cycles so not sure what to make of it really. Thought I had come on last night actually, after some 'activity' in the bedroom dept. No sign this morning though so keeping my fingers crossed it wasn't the start....

Was talking to a friend at the w/end and she mentioned that I should try and find out if I'm actually ovulating because long cycles like mine can indicate that I'm not.

Got dp to agree that I will begin temping next month (if I'm not pg now) so I can go to the doctor and basically prove that I'm not oving (if I'm not!) and ask to be put on Clomid/ have it recognised.

Geordie · 04/10/2004 09:30

Morning all,

good idea runtus- the best guide to temping could be to read the fertility friend website or maybe buy or borrow the book taking charge of your fertility by toni weschler! However useful temping is- it is not an absolute guarantee to tell that you are ovulating (it's pretty good though) so the doctor would want to do blood tests anyway to check before prescribing anything. Any chance you could get them to do bloods without having to temp for 3-4 months to get a good picture of your cycle?? Might be worth asking...temping will help to make sure you are bding at the right times though!!

Not feeling positive about being pg myself...temps are down a little- still over the coverline but feeling a little af ish. know it's not over yet...and part of me is desperate to test!!!!

hoping that one of us will get a positive soon!!!!!

tex111 · 04/10/2004 09:32

Morning everyone!

My stats: TTC No 2 since April this year. Had a m/c in June and another one in Sept but still optimistic! DS is 26 months. On CD 22 or thereabouts now but Oved late due to the miscarriage so still over a week to AF. Took this month off so definitely no BFP. Fingers crossed for the next cycle!

MrsW, don't worry. That's what we're all here for and most of us have felt exactly the same way at some point. Hope you're feeling better.

Hi Twiga! Good to see you. Good luck!!

Tessiebear · 04/10/2004 09:32

Morning all!
CD 19 - 24 here (wish i could decide which it is!) either way its a waiting game!
Had a funny old weekend really- had these horrid stomach cramps on saturday which i have never experienced before but i suppose it could have been wind. they started on saturday afternoon as a lower back pain and then spread round to my stomach/ pelvis for the rest of the day and were gone by sunday... weird
Yesterday i was convinced my boobs were tender/heavy but today they definately are not!! Just got the "zit" on my face that i always get prior to A/F ...AAAAAHHHH am so confused by real/imagined symptoms .... want this week to pass quickly just so i can know either way. Am going to test on Sat. morning i think... (Rant over)

Tessiebear · 04/10/2004 09:37

OMG - you know i said i thought i had ov'ed but without eggwhite - well i have just got the eggwhite!! Am i OVing now or in the next couple of days???

Tessiebear · 04/10/2004 09:40

i must be CD19 then - yickes - havnt BD'd since Friday - is there still a chance? Hula - where are you i need your words of wisdom!!!

Hulababy · 04/10/2004 09:41

Egg white CM is supposed to be the most fertile CM - so means you need to be BD today!!!
