OV should follow very very soon - maybe tomorrow??? Your DH needs to be warned OPains could be related to OV too. I had cramps night before my temps rose.

More than possibly - girly ones! They hang around longer. But if you BD today - the boys ones have a chance too

there are people who have fallen pg having only bd up to 4 days before O...it isn't as likely though...as hula says what about omorrow...eggs live for 12 hours!!

Good idea Geordie, I'll see what happens this month and if need be, I'll make an appointment with the Doctor. I can always ask them to do the test, worst case he'll say no and think I'm neurotic!

they might not be so bothered about temping as they will be about how long you've been trying. My gp did blood tests after a year- I had temped for 4 months into that year.

You might need to say that you have temped (my dr never asked to see my charts) the main thing is that if you are quite stressed by ttc then the bloods will put your mind at ease a bit about ov- this was the line I took with my dr!!

Hope that you get the bfp before you need to go down that route!!

I'll go for the emotional route I think, "I would be able to relx if I knew etc...." sounds good!

I'm due today, AF hasn't arrived yet but I'm having AF pains and absolutely no pg symptoms. Will see if it arrives tomorrow or Wednesday and may test on Thursday if not (cycles have gone a bit haywire lately).

mmmmm cramps with no af- I have that for a week after my af was due with ds...and they got worse and worse until i dared to test- and it was ++++++- don't give up till it actually happnes mrsw!!

Don't know really MrsW, was sort of planning on waiting to come on and be disappointed naturally but I may crack soon. Tomorrow is CD36 so if I haven't come on by then I think I may test tomorrow night........dp will tell me not to though!

ttc #3 and on cd12 today. dh gone away for the week and so only bd up until cd11!! Anyone know of anyone getting pg when stopping bd 3-4 days before ov? (We weren't up to it this morning - dh left at 4:30 to catch a flight, so cd11 it has to be!) PS Still standing on my head from last night

I've been away for a few days and have had some time to pick myslef up from the disappointmtne of having my gyne apt cancelled last week.

I'm trying to take a lighter approach to ttc ATM coz I've been getting too stressed out about it recently. I got my ovulation kits in the post on Friday so I'm relying on those to tell me the right time this month.

MommyD - a friend of mine conceived when she had BD'd 5 days before OV. I have heard another story on MN where somebody conceived when they had onlyBD'd once just after AF! I Bd'd on Fri and not since and think i am OVing today or tommorow - i am giving the ttc a girl a shot!

Tessiebear - I did say I would give the girl thing a go too - but I was planning to go a day or so closer to ov!! Did your friend conceive a girl or a boy?

I actually had a very wierd feeling after dh and i bd last night. TMI WARNING!!!!! ( not sure if it was coz of the 2 great orgasums or because a sperm and an egg were shaking hands!!!!) SORRY!!!!

Anyway we'll have to wait another 2(ish) weeks to find out.

Either way - GOOD NEWS!
