BeckiF, I'm really sorry to hear you were on one of the very first ttc threads. It's very hard to know what to say, having not been trying for half as long as you. However, I do know what it's like to want a baby very badly and what I have felt over the last 3 months must be a mere snapshot compared to what you are going through. I'm thinking of you and big (((hugs)))

My spotting has now stopped, i just wish af would just start and then i can get on with just knowing im not pregnant.

Feel bad feeling bad as im so lucky to have three already when some of you are ttcing fot the first time. I really understand how you feel, wether its ttc 1 or ttc 4 its still bloody depressing each month. But alot harder for the ttc ones i know. Maybe ttc 12 is the month for you, especially you Beckief. Baby dust in its tenfold for you. *** (thats my baby dust by the way)

well i finally got AF today after an 85 day cycle!!!

i know normally on here AF is the enemy but i am glad to see her(just this once!)! and as this is the first time i've had sore boobs before af i'm hoping it's a sign that my hormones have finally kickstarted after being on the pill.

lets hope this next cycle is the lucky one for the rest of us!!

I think I am going mad - please advise someone.

As you know first month off pill, AF arrived Thursday evening on CD31 (normally 28-30) so a day later than usual.

AF arrived in her normal fashion, I went out yesterday and forgot to take any tampons with me (TMI I know) and by the time I got back felt the need to sort myself out, changed and carried on as normal, after this went to change again a few hours later and AF had completely stopped, lasting a total of 24 hours ?????? (not usual)

What could this be, is she going to arrive again, or is this 'normal' for first month off pill - I really can't remember whats happended to me before.

Its funny cause whilsts I was out yesterday, I turned to dh and said, if it wasn't for the fact that I'd come on I'm convinced I'm PG - I really feel it.

golds - a friend of mine had a shortish period when she was pg with both her children. It is possible that you had a bleed and are also pg. Why not do a test in a couple of days? That's what I would do. Other than that I am not sure. Why does your dh think you are pg?

Well I don't know really, other than the fact that lately I have been so tired, I just want to sleep during the afternoon, I got heartburn the other day and I have felt a bit sicky. (Obviously my imagination) also we BD right on cue this month and I felt different.

Confusing, I will test in a couple of days if nothing returns.

Still not sure of my situation here, still spotting, slightly heavier but still brownish stuuf (sorry TMI) - am fairly sure that i'm probably not pg and don't know if I'll worry about testing now after all - how do I count my days, do I do it from when the spotting started or do I wait for proper af bleeding? Think I'm CD33.........just wish af would hurray up, so fed up that things still aren't working properly 3 months on . Still am collecting my 17 month old neice tomorrow so get to play "mum" for a week while ds and hubby are away x

Twiga- count proper bleeding as cd 1- spotting doesn't count as it can be old blood (esp if brown etc).

Can I ask a question .... I am on CD 57 or something (starting to loose count - sems like AF will never come back! I know I am not pg, did a test a few days ago).... but did an ovulation test tonight as I felt I had more cervical fluid (though not egg white)... the test was positive... should I BD tonight ? Are these tests failry reliable ? It was my first time trying these tests... thanks !

get to bed now!!!! the day of a + opk and the day after are the best tow days to concieve. Others might be able to tell you more about opk's etc but I would get it covered just in case!!

Arrived on my hols yesterday - I am in the US.

About lunch time today af arrived - early, couldn't believe it, didn't even get a chance to test. Was all set to test tonight. BOO HOO.

I am feeling a bit sad. Will go and have a drink now!

hello i've been hanging around for a while. im ttc my first with my dp who has a dd 12yrs old and ds 28months old. The last few days i've had really sore nipples and funny feelings in my tummy, does this mean anything to anyone? advice greatfull thanks :-)

Golds - i got af with ds cant remember if it was a odd one just remember saying to a friend my dates cant be right i had af?? my friend at playgroup had the same thing too. I feel i had a strange one this month came on Friday a bit heavy and crampy then yesterday not really that much then when i got up this morning nothing??? My af's never last only 2 days so iam not sure either will have to wait and see.
Twiga thanks for the vote on me starting the next thread its funny how a few girls saying i should start the next one has made me feel special. The spotting sounds strange doesnt it maybe just keep testing??? Have fun with your neice that age is a real testing age iam sure she will have fun with you too and be spoiled no doubt!!

Hello Tania im not sure because im always all over the place so its really hard for me tc. I had test at doc's and they said i do ovulate every month but the cant do antthing to regulate me at the moment, they just told me to keep trying. but i had af about this time last month so guess af will be soon if its coming.

She's just come back, very weird, I wonder wether she'll go again tomorrow. I'll definately put this one down to a failed attempt, so I think I am now on CD4 ? off we go again.

Funny feeling, in a way relieved as when I first thought about TTC No.3 again, I thought I would prefer to have the baby after September as the thought of giving birth and having 2 kids around for a whole 6 weeks holiday wouldn't be as easy.

Had a little bit of blood on tampon this evening after a full day very strange for af to only be here 2 days dont know what to make of it may have to ring my natrapath tomorrow and ask some questions. still hanging onto the hope that i could be pg with a strange af as i could have oved late????? i know iam just being hopeful silly i know.
Just found out that My dh's SIL's SIL is 7 weeks pg first month ttc. cant help to be gutted. was told that they thought "oh we will just give it a shot and see what happens" [face icon with tounge sticking out].

Quiet here today think i might have an early night tonight had a big day. Had some friends from the us in melbourne today did the tourist things with them ds was so tired by the end of the day couldn't keep his eyes open.
Feeling a bit low tonight its my grandfathers birthday tomorrow 1st since he past in march we were very close (more of a dad) taking my nanna to visit him in the morning was really hoping that i could tell him i was pg on his b'day. never mind i might be able to tell him in a few months that iam pg and due on his birthday!! that would be nice.

I know that when I look at my ds- I see lots of resemblances to my grandad who died just before christmas four years ago now- I love remembering him- he was soo lovely to me. I am sure that there will be lots of rejoicing in heaven when you finally get the chance to share your news with him!

Did another pg test this morning and got the usual BFN ... not gonna test anymore. Just going to wait for the IVF.

BeckieF- (((((((hugehugs))))))))) getting bfn's all the time is really disappointing. I decided not to test anymore after about 20 months ttc. The process of getting ivf was slow up here and as everything appeared almost normal it wasn't an option for at least 5 years of ttc. We gave up on the idea of our own babies shortly after i stopped testing - then i feel pg ....refusd to test and didn't even tell dh i was late!!
anyway I hope that the ivf doesn't take long to come along- and that taking out the stressful bfn's will speed up the waiting and take away some of the pain (I know it's easy for me to say that as I have a ds).

When you getting married??? that is a really exciting thing to be organising.....if you need any ideas to make the wedding really personal I have a few good ones up my sleeve.....(didn't get the chance to use them myself!)
