Good going ohjoy. 5 times is impressive. We only managed the twice while away. Now DH is back working on the house so we're both too knackered to try

Now day 15, but don't know if we'll manage again this week! Roll on our holiday in May

Blessed2 · 14/04/2008 12:58

ohjoy are you on gingseng

dizzymummy - thanks for that.

I've got an apt on the 21st to see a consultant. So I'll have to just wait til then to find out what my options are.

Where's Bambi?

Heron23 · 14/04/2008 17:55

hi blessed2, no i am not on ginseng. only taking zitawest vitamins. actually i have finished my zitawest vits and wont buy them anymore as they are so expensive. £20 per bottle, lasts about a month. am going to take pregnacare instead.

it is dy19 for me today, another 9 days and AF is due. i am not going to obsess this month, wasting HPTs!

good luck with your appt with the consultant!

Heron23 · 14/04/2008 17:56

also, just found out my SIL is pregnant. happy and envious at the same time...

roquefortlover · 14/04/2008 21:56

Hi all! Hope you're all well and feeling positive. Heron, you must be feeling ambivalent about yr SIL - on the positive side a cousin for your ds and future baby (as well as lovely for SIL of course)! Another high day for me on teh CBFM - bd'ed lasi night but not sure about tonight, dh looks tired and we have loads of boring admin to sort out. Will aim for tomorrow instead...

ohjoy · 15/04/2008 09:55

hi roque, it is dy20 for me and managed to BD last night, not sure if it will be of any use as far as ttc is concerned. it was fun anyway

i hope your DH is not too tired tomorrow.

i am rather ambivalent about my SIL. of course, it is good for my DS to have another cousin

roquefortlover · 15/04/2008 10:24

well, I have a peak today - very excited!! Dh is all prepared...heron, am super-impressed by you bd-ing without the CBFM saying so - saying that, i am actually finding that ttc is putting me more in the mood than usual maybe because it forces us not to be so lazy and reminds us how good it is when we do bd!

Blessed2 · 15/04/2008 12:19

Oooooh OOOhhhh ladies

roquefortlover · 15/04/2008 13:58

Yes indeed! It is amazing how much personal info you can share on MN - I don't think dh would believe it if he knew...

Heron23 · 15/04/2008 17:57

roque, blessed, how true, the things i reveal in here, well, DH can't believe half of it

yes, ttc has reminded me how good it is. usually i am just too tired or could not be bothered

roque, enjoy your BD tonight! and tomorrow and the next!!!

rowingboat · 17/04/2008 22:56

Hi everyone, hope the bding went well Roquefort!
This is day 26 for us and I am having the worst pms ever!! It is awful. I think because I have been taking agnus castus before, it has suppressed, the symptoms. Heeellllp!
I am thinking, this is not the month for us.
How is everyone?

cece · 18/04/2008 10:02

Hello thought I would check in with everyone.

I am currently on CD 34 and had 3 BFN the past 3 mornings. Have decided to wait till Sunday now as I have had cycles of 36 days in the past on the odd occasion...

Heron23 · 18/04/2008 10:04

hi rowing, sorry about your pms, it is horrible when it happens to me

i am doing well, managing to keep sane while waiting for AF date which is 24th april - thurs. have not been tempted at all to do hpt.

when is your AF due?

we managed to BD a lot this cycle, so i am cautiously confident

fruitbowl · 18/04/2008 11:18

Hi ladies

I've been lurking round here for a while and just wanted to spread a story of hope. DH and I were trying for DC#2 for about 18 months. We're actually quite lazy when it comes to BD-ing. It seems to have taken all the fun out when you both know you've got a "job" to do. Anyway last month we only BD-d ONCE and blow me we got a BFP yesterday! We still can't believe it. It's v early days yet obviously but dying to "tell" someone and thought our tale might give others some hope. Even an old bird (40 next week) not in the mood for BD managed it eventually! Lots of luck to you all xx

Blessed2 · 18/04/2008 11:28

Congrats fruitbowl. Morning ohjoy - how r u?
Has anyone heard how bambis doing? She's gone quiet since the eggs where planted.

bambilocket · 18/04/2008 11:38

Hey Fruitbowl that's fabulous

cece - fingers crossed! A late implantation perhaps?...looking forward to an update

and Heron, my day for hpt is Wednesday next week...having been completely morose earlier this week I am feeling a little bit optimistic again now (despite minor car bash this am - van into the back of me!) - one thing to say, the wait is much easier when one is feeling optimistic

Wey hey, next week there might be at least 3 more bfps!!!!! oooh I hopes so!

Heron23 · 18/04/2008 12:00

congratulations Fruitbowl!!! wow, that is an amazing story - gives me more hope

hi bambi, my day for hpt will be fri next week. make sure you post after you have done your hpt!

i have managed not to do any early hpt!

rowingboat · 18/04/2008 13:28

Hi there, fruitbowl congratulations and lots of stickys for you and your bfp.
Thank you Heron, the pms has subsided a bit now - I took fish oil and two flaxseed capsules yesterday and today, fingers crossed because I was a nervous wreck for no reason.
I hope this is a positive month for you!!
Cece fingers crossed for you as well.
DS crashed out at about 12 today (unheard of) and I have put him to bed and phoned his nursery - he didn't even want his cheese and pickle sandwich. Hope he doesn't have some horrible bug thing that he intends to pass on to me and DP. [puts on gas mask and rubber gloves]
We are on day 27 and expecting AF tomorrow, and not expecting a bfp at all. Did do a test on Monday or Tuesday, can't remember, but bfn.
Next month might be my good side - I hope, which will put me in a better bding mood.
It is a bit of a 'job' though as fruitbasket wrote, I mean after a while. But somebody's got to do it.

gem2mum · 18/04/2008 21:40

Fruitbowl, so pleased to hear about a BFP.Gives us all hope! Unfortunately, despite a heroic attempt at regular BD this month and a first month of clomid I just got my AF this morning V.disappointed - had great hopes of clomid success!

gem2mum · 18/04/2008 22:43

Mind you, I do find myself thinking, after a day like today, when I find myself drowning in laundry and food shopping to unpack, whilst cooking for dp and teenage ds whilst trying to persuade 21 month dd to eat something, then bundling said dd into car at 7.30 pm to ferry dp and ds to two different venues for a night out and then finally sitting down at 9.30 pm, where exactly, I would squeeze some extra time from for a number 3 dc ?! (hmm)

fruitbowl · 18/04/2008 23:07

Thanks for your good wishes. I know sometimes it's hard to be pleased for others when you don't have good news yourself.

Yes Gem2mum we're so desperate for a new bubba that common sense sometimes does not prevail I agree!

Other thing I forgot to mention was that we had been using a fab lubricant called Pre-seed which is apparently designed for folk TTC. Might have helped?

Good luck xx

cece · 19/04/2008 06:59

fruitbowl - what lovely news. I am very pleased for you and your DH with his supersprem

I am on CD 35 today and still BFN? Just wish af would come now....

Heron23 · 19/04/2008 09:34

hi gem2, sorry about AF coming

i completely agree with you, with all the housework and looking after DH and DS, i am not sure where i would find the time to look after DC2? having said that, i still really want to be preg!

AF due in 5 days...so far been calm and not obsessing

also, we used pre-seed this month.

cece · 20/04/2008 09:32

AF finally arrived CD 36 of 32 day cylce. But at least I now know what is going on!

Heron23 · 20/04/2008 16:50

hi cece, will you be using ovulation test kits this cycle?
