Hi ladiessss.

I thought about having some time away from MN but you get so much support here (and I need it at the moment!) so I thought I'd start a new thread for all those who are due to test end December/NY time.

TTC#2 (first baby)
28yo
Cycle #4
Short LP (boo)
Chemical in October
AF due 30th December

So I had my implant out a few months ago, since then my cycles have been VERY short but regular (23-24 days). My luteal phase is very short 8-9 days which I think is what causing me issues. I conceived very quickly 3 years ago with typical 28-29 day cycles and I didn't track a thing (only CM). Last month got my positive OPK CD14. I'm not sure if I am going to track ovulation this month...

AF due 30th based on a 25 day cycle

Sorry was supposed to tag @Flossie333 in my previous post

Mrslane2019 · 09/12/2019 17:34

Hey guys

please could i join
TTC#2
cycle #7
age 32
normally around 28 /30 day but this week a 24 day which is a bit of shock
came off cerelle in may
conceived my little boy after having implant removed with in two week so this is all new to me and find it a really struggle
hoping santa might bring me a nice xmas present well a girl can dream
send good luck to everyone 🤞🏻 it really is hard and stressful time for us all

Itstime1 · 09/12/2019 18:31

Can I join in?

Finally after a few months I seem to have had my first AF after stopping the pill in Sep. Used clear blue 4 day digital OPK last month to check if my body was ‘working’. LH surge but no static smiley only the flashing sod (and a LH surge day before AF!) so I’ll be using them again from tomorrow morning!

Cycle length? Who knows.
Apps predict AF due 3rd Jan so we will
Go with that.
Month-1
Currently on CD3 (AF started 3 days ago and just finished today. Glad my body kept that routine after 6 1/1years on the pill!)

Fingers crossed for everyone!

Flossie333 · 09/12/2019 22:28

@Snowberry4 Thank you so much for taking the time to write that and sharing all with me :). Sorry to hear that you have had to go through all of that - it's so unfair! I came off the pill in January but started actively trying about 4 months ago, so its not long at all, but I feel as though I am doing everything 'right' and still nothing happening. I know it's not as easy as that for a lot of women, and that you can be totally healthy and it just takes longer, but with the thought that I could potentially have PCOS, I think I am going to see my Dr sooner rather than later. I do have periods and my cycle tends to be about 34 days long, but I have heard that you can still have periods and also have PCOS. Lets see! xxxxx

Flossie333 · 09/12/2019 22:31

@Lucy5546 So I have only been tracking it for the last cycle, and I am sure you are absolutely right, hopefully next cycle things will become more clear. I've also just had a BBT thermometer arrive and so will start doing that from tomorrow morning xxxxx

Kisses183 · 10/12/2019 00:58

I have been doing it for about 4 months s as nd starting to see a pattern but dtd does make a difference.

Mrslane2019 · 10/12/2019 15:49

has anyone had any problem come off of cerelle the pill and how long is it suppose to take to get out of your system
stop it in late april /may
just we now on 7 cycle ttc and starting to get a bit worried about secondary infertility as with my little boy i had implant remove and didn’t even get period before we conceived i trying thread but you don’t really get answer

Snowberry4 · 10/12/2019 15:56

Hey @Flossie333. Pcos affects each women differently, I know my friends sister has it and concieved just fine and has always had normal cycles so it's just luck of the draw..
Iv been on metformin for years as it's meant to help with PCOS and they increased my dose when I said I was ttc so sometimes it's as simple as just popping a pill for some women.
Has your doctor ever asked you to go back if/when you decide to ttc? Do you have any girlfriends with similar experiences for support or advice?
I'm an expert on me and my issues with PCOS but not so clued up with others, so it's nice to hear from a few others who have some insight, so sorry I can't offer much advice 😞

I received my static smiley/ peak this morning on Clear blue opk wooo!! ( this is the second time iv ovulated in 12 months so as you can image I'm rather ecstatic that I may be in for a chance this cycle 🤞!!!) Also proof I'm responding to my treatment 😁 I'll need to do day 21 blood test Friday but no doubt it will also verify iv ovulated :) x x

MrsERH · 10/12/2019 16:05

Hi @Quiffy

Sounds like we are pretty much in the same position and will be testing at similar times (I'm a few days after you). I know what you mean about DTD when in close proximity to family. My peak day is currently scheduled to be Christmas Eve!

MotherofKitties · 10/12/2019 19:14

Hi ladies,

Thanks @Beau2019 for starting another thread.

TTC No.2.
Cycle 2
Day 14
AF due NYE
Chemical last month, and the support I had from the previous thread was really amazing, so thank you all again.

Taking Clearblue ovulation tests again as don't know what affect the chemical last month might have had on my cycle, and whilst I've had a blank circle today I've had the absolutely raging horn all day (Blush) and I've started what I think are ovulation pains so here's hoping...!

Either way I practically jumped on my DH when he got in so I've kick-started this month off with a bang (pun intended Grin)

Snowberry4 · 10/12/2019 19:56

@MotherofKitties you've made my evening, How our DH's must love us haha! Wishing you the best of luck this month 🤞 x

Sunflower2019 · 10/12/2019 20:00

Hey girls,

I’m due to ovulate 27th December so thought I’d hope on! Waiting for af to start after a possible chemical/shit frer!!!!!

Af meant to arrive around 14th December.. want it to hurry up!

Good luck everyone xx

MrsERH · 10/12/2019 20:27

Hopefully having the TWW over Christmas for a lot of us will go really fast!! Nothing worse than sitting at work constantly thinking about it!

Flossie333 · 10/12/2019 21:12

@Snowberry4 aw thank you so much! You have inspired me to go to the Dr and so I've got an appt booked this week 😊. Think I'll feel better just knowing a bit more- I'm definitely not the patient type which may not bode well lol! Will keep you posted.

So happy you have ovulated- really am crossing everything for you- keep me updated! Xxxx

Snowberry4 · 11/12/2019 10:24

Morning @Flossie333. Well done for making the appointment. Hopefully they will be able to advise you and offer you any further help, treatment or referral if its necessary but fingers crossed all will be well and they will just say get BD'ing !! You've not been on the pill for a while now so if you were to sent you for a new scan they may say everything is fine and have put it down to being on the pill like you say. Let me know how you get on too. Sending possitive thoughts your way!

Snowberry4 · 11/12/2019 10:54

Adding @clolo 👋 to the Jan bus x x

MrsNA · 11/12/2019 11:47

Hi ladies, I hope it’s okay if I join this thread.

Me and DH 27 years old
TTC #1
AF late
I have a irregular cycle since I came off the pill in April. 42,33,35,46 and now it’s been 39 days and still no period 😩
I had my last period start of November and as DH has been away so I know I’m not pregnant. sHowever 30th nov I had some brown/pink discharge (I apologise for the TMI 😭) and after that I had tender boobs for a week and now some CM. Really confused 🤷🏻‍♀️

MrsERH · 11/12/2019 11:56

Hi @MrsNA
Assuming you’ve taken a test just in case? I would maybe look at booking a GP appointment for a weeks time (you could always cancel
If AF comes). Apparently it does take a year for the hormones to fully settle down after coming off the pill hut talking to GP might give you some reassurance?

Talcott2007 · 11/12/2019 11:58

Hi All - Jumping on from the early December Testing bus.

Age 33
TTC no2. (although DD3.5 was a MAP surprise so really 1st time TTC)
Going in to cycle 3
Cycle length 28-30days
AF/Testing due 6th Jan.

We had a false start this month with a chemical pregnancy - very clear BFP 4days before AF...then AF came 3 days 'late' following tiny bit of spotting the day before. Surprisingly OK about it.

Not really sure what impact a CP will mean for this month so that almost takes the pressure off.

Just using a tracking app to predict ovulation - should be around 23rd December but who knows was the CP will have done to my cycle.

Please remind me not to test too early again if I get tempted!

MrsNA · 11/12/2019 12:07

I didn’t actually do a test I assumed I would be pregnant as the last time we did anything was on the 20th October and I had a full period starting 2nd November. Yeah I might book an appointment with Gp I’m also considering some acupuncture sessions so help regulate my cycle

MrsERH · 11/12/2019 12:25

@MrsNA - unlikely then so save your money! Acupuncture sounds interest, curious to see if that works.

@Talcott2007 - sounds like we are on the same cycle pretty much. Due to ovulate Xmas eve so that should be fun Wink

notetaker · 11/12/2019 12:43

I'm already on a January bus but please can I jump on here too? It's making a world of difference knowing that there's support and kindness here.

TTC #1
Cycle 4
CD 10
AF due 30th/31st so got everything crossed for a New Year's Day BFP.

Hope you're all having a good week and sending tones of positive thoughts to everyone Smile

notetaker · 11/12/2019 12:52

*tonnes (unless you like the idea of positive tones 😂)

Talcott2007 · 11/12/2019 12:59

@MrsERH - It will definitely be challenge! Xmas Grin - We will be at the ILS in France for Xmas - both DH and I have been finding sex on schedule REALLY unsexy in previous cycles but maybe it will be like when we were first dating again trying sneak a quiet quickie in without waking his parents!
