Hi girls! I know we wanted to start a thread for the ones who didn't get their BFP this month.

@Skyla01 @Mrsrobinson247 @SarahMS I know you wanted to join.

Anyone else welcome to join us on our conception journey and looking to test around 2nd week in December.

AF due around 9th September

This is my 1st month using OPKs - anyone got any advice on when to start testing?

Did a test yesterday at 9dpo and it was a BFN! I knew as I did it, I shouldn’t have done it but I’d rather get rid of the hope now!

Gah, started proper bleeding (up at this time as DC has woken!) day 22 of cycle. Been having weird periods since having DC (I’m 41) which am currently getting investigated. So sore boobs must’ve been AF!

Oh well, I’ll just have to enjoy Christmas. Think next FW will be whilst parents staying so we will have to DTD quietly!

Used a FRER and One Step this morning and both BFN so feeling pretty deflated. 11dpo today.

@Quiffy - oh no, it’s so disappointing isn’t it? Hang in there, you’re not out until AF comes. Fingers crossed

Only went to docs about it last fri so waiting for appointment for scan. Bloods all fine and had smear recently which was fine but she said it could be a polyp or something? I did have CS with DC so wondering if anything to do with that

@Quiffy your not out till af sings! Still early days.
I had a sharp stabbing pain in right ovary last night (like I get mid month usually) but opk is negative. I've always assumed that was ovulation pain but clearly not!
DTD anyway

@burntpinky sorry about AF. I've had weird painful periods since ds2 was born (not a cs but I did exclusively breastfeed for 14 months) I mentioned it to obgyn and they said it would take a while to settle....he's 3 now so i feel that's a bit of a cop out tbh. I'm glad there investigating for you. I need to be more pushy I think!

Should add they basically blamed the .breastfeeding hence why I mentioned it...just in case I offend.

@Ange211 thank you! I couldn’t BF so I can’t blsne that. Hopefully I’ll get some answers or at least not worry!

On another (hilarious) note - we brought DC in with us for a bit last night when he woke (I’m sure he thought he was on MM’s midnight game show) and he took up loads of room and my DH ended up falling out of the bed! I’ve never laughed so hard and it also set DC off laughing (he’s 15 months) so we were up for ages!

I’m good @Quiffy done a test this morning though and the line was fainter but the wee part and testing bit was so yellow, from my pee! Has freaked me out but I’m going to wait and test again tomorrow afternoon or something, just hoping it’s not a chemical! Xxx

@Quiffy I tested yest morn with frer and thought I saw the faaaaaaintest line, but this morn absolutely nothing at 10dpo, af due in 5 days. So I feel you there but we're not out till the AF lady sings! Xx

@Sunflower2019 all my fingers crossed for you. Hcg doesnt double till 48 hours later.

I did another FRER this morning which was BFN so think I'm out this month as I'm 9DPO I think. (Could only be still depending on when I ovulated) but I'm gearing myself up for a BFN and come to terms with it. Least I can enjoy an xmas and new year drink.

Not supposed to be trying TTC but we did BD once in FW this month. Tested really early and got BFN but now AF has come 5 days early. It means I’ve only had a LP of 8-9 days which might be something I have to monitor....

Ladies I need your help! Ive not been on here for a few days since my OH was knocked of his bike and messed his leg up 😩 but I couldn’t help myself this morning and tested! It’s faint! So bare with me!!

What do you all reckon? AF due in 3 days!

@Quiffy don’t worry hun, I’m 11DPO today as well, used an IC but stark white 😭 af due 11th or 12th of Dec so few days to go x I do feel a bit different this time around. AF like feeling since last Wednesday, boobs in agony, backache and just feel a bit lightheaded x
@Sunflower2019 how are you feeling? It’s still very early for you so don’t worry about the line for now x finger crossed it will start getting darker xx

@megan94x I can definitely see a line there but (sorry - hate to be that person) I’m not sure if it’s a bit grey, do you have a FRER you could try maybe? X
Have everything crossed for you that it’s a BFP!! I just don’t trust the cheapies lol I’ve had so many indents and evap lines on them in the past!! X

Feeling hungover and miserable. Classic sunday blues. I have weird cramps that feel like af despite not being due on till next friday. If it does come today it will be a really short luteal phase of only 9 days :(

i taken a test this morning with bfn but this afternoon start having cramps and bleeding a little but 5 day early not due until 13th

@Sunflower2019 might be the pee was stronger day before as dehydrated from alcohol so fainter this morning as more hydrated and hcg takes 48 hours. Fingers crossed for a super line tomorrow:)

Thanks everyone, think af might be showing up 4 days early for me. Which means two short cycles in a row. Had some brown when I wiped earlier. Gone now but I now have really bad cramps right through to my back. So expecting to see it later tonight booo.

@quiffy exactly the same for me too. Looks like af is rearing her head early. Looks like we will be cycle twins!

@symptomspotter86 hopefully New Year will mean BFP instead then :)

@Quiffy remember that implantation takes place 6-12 DPO so it’s still might be just that and you may get your BFP in couple of days x
I’m so tired today I have been asleep for 1.5 hour during the day x I’m trying not to get my hopes up though x I’m going to order FRER for Tuesday which will be 13DPO x

@katie1109 hopefully! It only lasted that one wipe so that’s encouraging but not getting hopes up. Read some really depressing threads on late implantation this afternoon. Think I’ll go watch some Christmas films instead haha. Tuesday sounds good for FRER! Should defo show you then :)
