Hi girls! I know we wanted to start a thread for the ones who didn't get their BFP this month.

Anyone else welcome to join us on our conception journey and looking to test around 2nd week in December.

AF due around 9th September

This is my 1st month using OPKs - anyone got any advice on when to start testing?

Ohemmgeeee you all crack me up. Esp @Ellsbells112, I love when my DH moans about a sore peepee - with all the complex plumping we put up with. 😂

I just told DH I’ve got really bad pains in the lady garden area and he chimes up with ‘you know I’ve got a sore stomach too’. Took it all not to tell him to eff off. I can’t symptom spot if he thinks he’s got every symptom too. Unless he’s a seahorse and he hasn’t told me then he’s certainly not got lady plumbing pains.

@quiffy hahahaha mateeeee men don't have a clue. We just dtd and he laughed at me because I was literally like urghhh pain get the conceive plus out lol 😂😂😭

@Quiffy the seahorse comment 😂 I almost fell off the chair at work reading that! We DTD 5 times in the FW window, but I didn’t feel too bad to be honest, although I do look forward to at least couple of days sex-free 😂

I’m 6DPO today and still got the feeling down there almost like my af is going to arrive, it’s not painful, just that dull pressure which I can now feel in my upper thigh x I only get cramps day before af or even on the day but never earlier, so that’s a new one for me x someone mentioned cervix position, I’m not even sure whether I know how to find it, and it’s not due to lack of trying 😂😂

@Quiffy SEAHORSE 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂 listen (and don't hate on me for this comment) but with all the gender neutral non-binary stuff out there at the moment, let the man be a seahorse if he wants. Anything goes/is possible these days.

So I woke up in the middle of the night with the worst AF type pains but slightly different type of pain. I panicked and thought she was due! Weird it's bang on 3 weeks since AF and she always comes on Monday night. Weird no? I'm due AF next Monday night 🤔 did I dream it? Probably. Am pregnant. Probably not 😂

I’m all good 3dpo, nothing to report, mouth dry but prob slept with it open! Had a few twinges but I always do in the tww! Not symptom spotting. My bbt temps are going up so guessing that maybe positive!

@Beau2019 that sounds promising, how many dpo are you now?

@Katie1109 yours sounds promising too :)

Try not to think too much into it all though, I know I can’t talk, apparently we have progesterone surge after ovulation and it gives us false pregnancy symptoms, after 6-10 dpo is when we start getting real symptoms when we implant! I now always think of think of that when I’m symptom spotting!

@Ellsbells112 I feel you, we dtd last night and I actually couldn’t be bothered.. I felt like staying to him I’m now low conception, don’t you have any respect 😂

Hi ladies, hope you're doing well 😊 I'd like to jump in if I can, been a lurky lurker for a while but I need some perspective because I'm going insane! I'm 25 and DP is 25, this our first TTC and first cycle. And I'm going square eyed(line eyed?) with symptom checking and readingreadingreading. Im about 4 dpo, and woke up feeling really queasy this am, with cramps from ov to now. I know it's highly unlikely I'll be pg and that im just being a silly, but hello all and baby sparkles to you all!

@Beau2019 lol 😂 how many DPO are you now? When’s your af due? I’m only 6DPO but it already feels like I’ve been waiting forever! I’m really bloated and gassy (oops) which might be quite embarrassing in the big open style office with 20 other people 😂 at least plenty of people to blame it on 😂
@Sunflower2019 I don’t tell but I believe temp going up is normally a good sign? Isn’t it? x

@katie1109 I know I read that and then read they go up anyway 😂 what’s the bloody point!!! I think it would be interesting to see if I get a drop where implantation would occur!

It’s so hard to not symptom spot.. I try and compare from my previous pregnancy and o was having a few tiny symptoms before but it was mainly the boobs and mine feel weird today but they did all the other months so 🤷‍♀️

@Beku94 you never know.. welcome :)
You may be implanting in the next few days so may feel something then? I’ve heard women feel the egg travelling which can cause a funny feeling?

@Katie1109 @Sunflower2019 I'm about 8DPO today, give or take a day. Pretty sure I ovulated last Monday. This cycle has been like clockwork for me, especially with AF starting at the exact same time of the day and same with those pains last night. I am really really going to try hard not to test until next weekend. Although I'm away with work most of next week, got 2 xmas do's next week. Not great timing haha.

@Sunflower2019 hahaha yeah exactly. So I'm going 1 or 2dpo obvi nothing to report haha, When's you af due again sorry? I know you're close to me I'm due on the 16th

So I need advise. If my period comes) please don't come 😭🙏) it's going to come on the day we are booked in to the island resort!! I'm sooo fuming but I've got a docs app today, should I ask for the period delay? By the time I would have to take it to stop af I'd be 12dpo. What do you think? Anyone's advise welcome here i realllyyyy want to dtd on the island 😭🏝️ it's not like you get to do that every day!

I've woke up in a furious mood as I dreamt I got 5 positive FRERs and spent the rest of the time happily baby shopping in TK Maxx. Boooooo. And then I took my temp and it's gone down a bit so double major booo.

@Katie1109 I have the same. It feels really odd. I keep going to the toliet and expecting AF to have arrived. Esp since last it came when I thought I was 7dpo and today is 6dpo for me. Nor can I find my cervix haha!

@Beau2019 hehe! Okay I'll let him be a seahorse but if he doesnt stop symptom claiming he's going in the ocean :D

Think I'm going to try and ignore my body today as it's stressing me out. Feels like the longest TWW ever haha.

@Beau2019 you could definitely test soon if you wanna enjoy Xmas parties! I would! If we don’t get bfps this month we can all eat cheese drink and enjoy yourselves and new year new start!

@Ellsbells112 I’m definitely 3dpo and af due 14th, I will be testing before most probably! I’m out Saturday for my friends bday and I’m just going to drink as I don’t want to put my life on standstill, plus I heard the best thing for getting pregnant is getting super drunk and letting go! I wouldn’t take those period delays as I did and it makes your skin super sensitive to the sun and I was like a lobster 😂 looked like I was from the little mermaid! Up to you! You maybe pregnant then you can dtd as much as you like.. just mind the sand! 🤣

@Quiffy how many dpo are you? Dreams are meant to be a positive sign and I wouldn’t worry too much about temp drop? They can fluctuate as long as they stay within the cover line apparently!

@Sunflower2019 yeah you are definitely right! I'm worried that if I don't test until a week after AF is due, that is if she doesn't arrive, I might be pregnant and drinking. BUT at the same time I don't want to test early, all the chemicals recently scare the shit out of me!

She's due Monday night so if I don't have anything by my first Christmas party at the end of the week, I'm going to test. It's annoying because last time I was pregnant I was at a Christmas do and wasn't drinking. And they aaallllll constantly went on asking if I was pregnant. Yes. Yes I was. Awks or what?

I keep trying reverse psychology on myself. I'm sooo looking forward to mulled wine, all the cheeses, raw meat etc etc. If I keep thinking this way (because I never ever get what I want) my body MAY give me a baby instead so I can't have all those. See what I'm doing there? HAHA

@Quiffy we are the same! I’m also 6DPO and at due 12 of December which is 1 day before my Xmas do! Ahhhh I really, really hope x some minor twinges in lower back at the moment. The af like feeling is still there and I feel really wet, sorry tmi, with quite a flow of creamy white cm x what’s your cm like ladies post ovulation? x

@Katie1109 looks like I'm going to test next weds 11th if no AF. Eeek! I'm sure I'll cave and do a FRER end of this week.

My CM is always really wet just after OV but not the EWCM type, then it starts to get sticky and much less. Pretty much dry now!

@Beau2019 OMG I will also be testing on the 11th, it will be a day before af so if it doesn’t show by then I’ll assume I’m out - I’ll be 14 DPO then. I’m sure I’ll test before as well, I’ve got a stash of ICs to feed my POAS addiction 😂 did any of you do an opk today out of curiosity? Mine still shows clear line, far from positive of course x

@Katie1109 no I've not done any more OPKs as I only have the clear blue. I did just do the stick without the digi part the other day and both lines were like none existent. Maybe I accidentally got wee on the results window hahaha.

I dont dare use the internet cheapies as I've heard they are crap but I have a box of like 50 wtf.... I'm going to get 3 FRER do them first. Then if I get a BFP im going to keep testing every day/every other day for a while to just make sure I'm still pregnant and no chemical, especially if I test early. Am I crazy haha? I just know if I do get a BFP, I will be so paranoid about miscarriage.

@katie1109 Ooooh would be wonderful to get a BFP before your Xmas do. I'm visiting my parents for the weekend on the 13th so would be lovely to have a BFP for then.

As for CM I'm pretty new to it so still learning what my body is up. Defo feeling damp down there though but I think I was the same before OV

So I think the three of us will be testing around the same time @Beau2019 @katie1109. I've got the FRERs ready. Heading to England on Friday to visit inlaws so I'll see how long I last after the weekend. Got lots of cheapies but also a little scare of them.

I also did an OPK this morning out of curiosity haha. Same as you, was clear but far from positive. Got a screenshot but my app doesnt show them very well.

I think I'm going to test on Monday 9th which is 10DPO. I have some FRER ready. Is that too early? I am worried about all this talk of chemicals I just dont think I'm capable of waiting till 11th or 12th december as I am so impatient. This is only my second month of TTC and the TWW is already killing me.

I have so many nights out/events planned in the next 3 weeks. So if I am not pregnant at least I can eat and drink everything in sight and roll into January with all the weight gain. Haha

@symptomspotter86 It will all depend on whether the egg has implanted yet - I think you can easily get a BFP then but might also get a negative when you could still be preggers. It's so hard when there's so much temptation.

At least if you do test and get a BFN you can enjoy the rest of december guilt free!

I’ll be testing around the 11th too, well at least that’s when AF is due, so I’ll probably test on Monday the 9th. I’ve got a stock of really expensive CB digital but I know they’re not as sensitive, I’m just not sure I can justify buying some FRERs. I might get some Asda cheapies.
