Two week wait...again

Hi mums/mumstobe, I’m currently in the two week wait after having a MMC (missed miscarriage) in June at 12 weeks. After a 10 week bleed I have settled into what seems to be a normal cycle again appx27/28 days. I’m saying I’m in the two week wait but I’m unsure if I’ve even OV. Anyone want to keep me company as I’m going out of my mind and feel like I’m boring the real people in my life 🤦🏽‍♀️

Yes it’s a great space for openness and honesty. I’m not trying to symptom spot but the last half hour I’ve had the strangest metal taste in my mouth and I have read that a few people have had that as a symptom

siaa · 27/10/2019 20:14

@BabyB19 @Jonesbabynumber1 completely agree and happy to keep talking until we all get our BFPs! I've never joined in on one of these forums before, always watched from afar but it's just so nice to talk to friendly girls going through the same thing! Also nice not to drive my poor OH and my mum insane with constant conversation about it 😂

Also happy to answer any questions @Jonesbabynumber1, any time! I've spent so much time in hospital with this journey over the last 18 months feel like writing a bloody book on fertility. I actually did think about setting up some sort of miscarriage support charity earlier this year as I'd like to help people who have gone through what we have and I think schools should teach kids about what can go wrong so they are properly prepared for it when they start TTC.

siaa · 27/10/2019 20:15

No idea why all that text is bold!

@Jonesbabynumber1 I had that the first time I was pregnant! It is definitely a symptom.

Jonesbabynumber1 · 27/10/2019 20:21

@siaa I think it’s so much more real when you hear it from people rather than just reading it from internet articles. I agree or at least when you go to doctors or contraception clinics actually talk in detail about pregnancy as I knew hardly anything before I started this journey. That would a worthy cause, my advice concentrate on you and your journey and when your ready then look to develop something as you need to focus on you at the moment. That’s exciting and nerve wracking as it’s a symptom I haven’t experienced before as all the others are just like PMS

BabyB19 · 27/10/2019 20:27

@siaa I agree with @Jonesbabynumber1 although it's a wonderful thought to help others in this situation you need to make sure you are your own priority for the time being ❤️

@BabyB19 @Jonesbabynumber1 yes good point, can't help others if I'm in bits myself 😂

ceebee21 · 27/10/2019 22:20

Hiya, got back from a small break yesterday, definitely helps to keep your mind off things. Now 6dpo, so hard to wait to test Hmm xx

Jonesbabynumber1 · 27/10/2019 22:26

@BabyB19 fingers crossed with testing tomorrow let me know how you get on I’ve gone from no symptoms to lots but think it’s my body playing mind games.

BabyB19 · 27/10/2019 22:35

Welcome back @ceebee21 glad that little trip has occupied you for a few days! Hope you're ok. When you you plan to test, are you going to hang on until AF is due?

I sure will @Jonesbabynumber1 I will post every little detail haha. What symptoms have you got/are you imagining? 🤣🤣
I seem to have veins all over my chest and front of my shoulders now too 🤭

Jonesbabynumber1 · 27/10/2019 22:43

@baby19 another good sign for you. Watery mouth, nausea, Metallic taste, fast pulse, sore sensitive nipples and bloated. I did not even think it was possible to experience so much at one time. I always thought symptoms were almost myths but hopefully I’ll know tomorrow whether I’m going mad or not. I’ve had the copper coil for last 6 years and always thought because it was none hormonal it didn’t effect but if AF comes maybe it’s my body just getting used to it all being natural if that makes sense.

BabyB19 · 27/10/2019 22:51

Either way it's either a good sign of pregnancy or at the very least that your body is getting back to 'normal' as you say adjusting to the hormone changes etc. But that is quite a list isn't it. Half of me is trying to stay reasonable but the other half is like 'I'm not imagining these veins, they are definitely there'! @Jonesbabynumber1

Ooooowwwww :( BFN this morning :( hoping just to early but think I'm probably out!

Jonesbabynumber1 · 28/10/2019 07:41

@tbug sorry to hear that how many dpo are you? bfn for me as-well which was disappointing because of symptoms. I know this a possibility it’s cause it’s too early but feeling like I’m out. AF in 3 days so I’ll soon know and no more testing for me until then can’t handle the disappointment @babyb19 how did you get on.

BabyB19 · 28/10/2019 07:46

Same for me guys @Jonesbabynumber1 @Tbug currently trying to imagine myself a line on an IC but don't think there's anything there. Hopefully now work has come back around that will keep my mind occupied, despite the symptoms I don't think it's going to be my month either 🤦🏽‍♀️

Jonesbabynumber1 · 28/10/2019 08:03

@BabyB19 how I didn’t cry this morning I don’t know. I stared at the test for so long I could see a very Very very faint line But think I imagined it. Yes I’m actually glad for work as a distraction. Least we are all in the same situation. Got a feeling the witch 🧙‍♀️ will be showing herself for Halloween. I’m almost ready for it now and to have a break from over thinking for at least a few days x

BabyB19 · 28/10/2019 08:56

I feel exactly the same @Jonesbabynumber1 it's exhausting isn't it, then at least we can go back to the two weeks of not thinking about it! X

OP posts:
Tbug · 28/10/2019 08:58

It's so annoying lol just feel like it's never gunna happen :( cycle number 9 commence! 😂 I'm not gunna think about it all this month, I'm determined! Xx

BabyB19 · 28/10/2019 09:06

I'm crazy @Tbug @Jonesbabynumber1 I've just been to the chemist to pick up a completely unrelated prescription and picked up two frer on a whim. I promised myself I was going to wait until Friday before bringing out the big guns 🤣 x

OP posts:
Tbug · 28/10/2019 09:13

Hahah I used a weeks predictor Clear blue one cos it's all I had....talk about a waste of money haha!! Xx

ceebee21 · 28/10/2019 09:22

@BabyB19 my plan is to test at the weekend.... it is my sister's wedding on Friday, so don't want to be disappointed for that, so would rather not know.

Will try and hold out until Sunday morning, I need to order some FRER off amazon, but again trying to hold off as I will use them if they are in the house!!

I do have a CB digital and some superdrug cheapos, but would rather use the FRER xx

BabyB19 · 28/10/2019 09:50

Oh bloody gel @Tbug you're as bad as me 🤣🤣🤣
@ceebee21 you are in the right headspace if you have all them tests at home but have not used them yet you're doing amazing 🙌🏽 I wish I had your willpower.
These FRER are in my handbag but now I've got them I'm scared to do one as if it's negative then it's pretty much game over for this month isn't it 🤦🏽‍♀️

OP posts:
ceebee21 · 28/10/2019 09:57

@BabyB19 tbh, I just want to enjoy the day Friday and try not to think about it... I may have a couple of drinks, won't go mad. But if I test and get a BFN then I will just be upset, so would rather just not know at that point, unless AF makes an early appearance.

Any other time, I would have caved and probably take one towards the end of this week... if I had some in my bag I would have done one by now haha
xx

Jonesbabynumber1 · 28/10/2019 10:16

@babyb19 mine was a FRER so I know I’m out but fingers crossed you get a BFP when testing. I read as long as you can hold you pee for at least 4 hours it should be as effective as first morning. Let me know how you get on. I’m determined not to test until at least 31st this is when AF due and I’m usually regular. I wish I’d drink that bottle of wine on the weekend now Wine @tbug when is AF due?

BabyB19 · 28/10/2019 10:56

I just did it and I don't even think the camera can pick it up but there is a very almost invisible line there, I'm not hopeful it's anything more than an indent line as I'm due Friday so I am within the 6 days now x

Two week wait...again

@BabyB19 I don't know, I feel like I can see something but not 100% sure, it is hard to see on the pictures though.
