Two week wait...again

Hi mums/mumstobe, I’m currently in the two week wait after having a MMC (missed miscarriage) in June at 12 weeks. After a 10 week bleed I have settled into what seems to be a normal cycle again appx27/28 days. I’m saying I’m in the two week wait but I’m unsure if I’ve even OV. Anyone want to keep me company as I’m going out of my mind and feel like I’m boring the real people in my life 🤦🏽‍♀️

Don't get me wrong if we had multiples we would make it work and be over the moon but it would be bloody hard. What are you parents/in laws like? We're lucky we both have very involved parents that will support us

@BabyB19 I’m close to my mum and my DH parents are good but none are able to help with childcare as all still working and we both work full time so looks like I’ll be needing part time hours once we are blessed. So it will be hard but worth it

Hi all, trying to catch up, hope you are all ok.

No news here, a couple of twitches here and there but nothing really, don’t want to get my hopes up for anything but a BFN.

@BabyB19 I like your OH enthusiasm 3/4 😆. Unfortunately my mum passed away 5 years ago and my dad is quite poorly so support on my side isn't that great but I have amazing sisters and we are all there for each other. My OHs parents are brilliant too, they have one grandchild already and one on the way and they dote on her so much they're always doing stuff with her and looking after her so I know they will be great when we have ours ☺️.

I'm sorry about your parents @dizzy85, that must be so hard.
Our parents all work too but all on different shifts etc so we will be able to balance it all hopefully so we need bare minimum childcare thanks fully

I think I will test Monday morning at 9DPO with FRER.

Fingers crossed for a BFP.

Both our parents still all work, so will just have to cross that bridge when it comes to it...got to get there first! Xx

@BabyB19 thankyou, it is hard but it just makes me more determined to enjoy life while I can and I do have amazing people around me which I'm very grateful for😊.
I'm not sure when/if to use my last frer, it's saying af is due on Monday on my app, I'm going to Tesco in abit tempted to get some cheap ones from there and just try that tomorrow if nothing and save the frer till next cycle.

Oh thanks @ceebee21 I think I'm going to hold off until AF is due this month, but I've said this every month so far and never managed it hahah x

@dizzy85 sorry the witch has arrived. I did another IC which was negative I’ve got one frer left but with AF due in next two days I think I’ll wait. If I don’t get a BFP I just hope AF is on time. Don’t think I can deal with BFN and delayed AF at moment!

@BabyB19 @ceebee21 @Jonesbabynumber1 thanks ladies, it's disappointing but I'm actually ok now I know for sure. And at least she'll be over by my birthday too so I can relax and have a few drinks without anyone getting suspicious😁.

What are the ICs and opks everyone uses called are they from amazon too? And how much do you pay?
I wanna stock up now to save some money coz I spent over £30 this month 😏.

Thank you. Yes just the amazon ic and opk but I fancy using the Femometer opks next month because I don’t get strongest result on the amazon ones.

I will have a read up on those ones. The ones I was using didn't really give the strongest of lines either.

Where/how much are the fermometer ones @Jonesbabynumber1 I'm starting my BD on alternate days already and going to aim for that the entire month if we can, maybe slack off when I got day 20ish and know that OV will have well passed. Do you guys take the higher dose folic acid from the dr as well?

Good idea @BabyB19 once af has gone I'm gonna do the same. What strength are the higher dose ones? I've just been using up my pregnacare pills I had from before they have 400mg folic acid in them.

The GP ones are 5mg do I think that's quite a lot stronger. Mine put me on them when I was pregnant last time before I even miscarried @dizzy85 x

My folic acid is 400 and Femometer opk are on amazon but I’m confused as you can select different sensitivity for LH I think. So needs to be looked into a little more. AF due in next two days but no signs yet just that strange cramping that I’ve seemed to have had all month. I feel like I’m behind everyone now. I’ve had lush day out in Cardiff and I’ve hardly thought about it.

I think yours are 400mcg and the Drs give 5mg which is much stronger so may be worth asking? I don't understand where to even begin with them @Jonesbabynumber1 @dizzy85 🤣🤣🤣
