Two week wait...again

BabyB19 · 22/10/2019 15:28

Hi mums/mumstobe, I’m currently in the two week wait after having a MMC (missed miscarriage) in June at 12 weeks. After a 10 week bleed I have settled into what seems to be a normal cycle again appx27/28 days. I’m saying I’m in the two week wait but I’m unsure if I’ve even OV. Anyone want to keep me company as I’m going out of my mind and feel like I’m boring the real people in my life 🤦🏽‍♀️

@BabyB19 I might get some of those ones as the ones I got don't give you the strongest of lines. I have thought about temping but I don't think I could keep up with it myself I'm bad at remembering to do things regularly 😄. Still waiting for af it's really driving me crazy x

BabyB19 · 22/11/2019 20:52

No need is good news as they say @dizzy85 have you done any more hpt's or anything? X

@BabyB19 I got a bfn on a Poundland test this morning. I still keep having on and off spotting and keep expecting to wipe and be af but I think it's just taking it's time to torture me more. I got some more frers today gonna test in the morning if no show. Just wanna move on to the next cycle now. Maybe dtd every day this time😂

BabyB19 · 22/11/2019 22:25

That's some going dtd every day though isn't it @dizzy85 🤣🤣 I'm conscious that I don't want to take the fun out of it as we usually have a very good and healthy sex life. So really I'm sure if I wasn't even thinking about all this stuff it would happen naturally pretty quick anyway 🤦🏽‍♀️ got everything crossed for you that AF doesn't show properly x

Jonesbabynumber1 · 23/11/2019 11:34

@BabyB19 @dizzy85 is that even possible
to dtd everyday. Yes I still want out sex life to be in tact especially if it will take a while. Still no AF for me due in 2 days. I know I’m out I was snappy at my husband last night for smallest thing. Poor sod.

BabyB19 · 23/11/2019 11:40

Have you tested again @Jonesbabynumber1 I'm feeling a bit better about it all today, it's crazy how it comes and goes in waves. It's only been a few months and it takes loads of people who are completely healthy much longer than that so we need to try and keep things in perspective don't we x

Yes I did an IC just to satisfy my poas urge bfn. Yes I think once AF arrives it’s like a weight has been lifted. Yes I’m ready for cycle 4. I will still hope it happens every cycle but I think you become more resilient each cycle.

Jonesbabynumber1 · 23/11/2019 12:03

@BabyB19

BabyB19 · 23/11/2019 12:05

I'm still hoping for you @Jonesbabynumber1 have you got any spots yet? I knew AF was coming as I always break out a lot on my face and chest 😭

@BabyB19 thank you. we are so similar that’s my tell take sign ive got a few little ones but usually i get the big nasty under the skin blocked pours ones and none of them yet. For me it’s easier to be negative than positive not so painful when AF arrives.

dizzy85 · 23/11/2019 12:51

@BabyB19 @Jonesbabynumber1 good afternoon 😀 BFN on a frer for me today too. I'm so over this month now, bring on af so I can start the next cycle. Haha yes I think dtd every day would be overkill 😂. I just looked at my calendar and the month I got my bfp we dtd every other day in the fertile week, so 3 days then the day after predicted ovulation day. And this month was like one day at the start of the week then 3 days in a row over ovulation. So I'm gonna try doing it every other day once af ends and see how that goes.

BabyB19 · 23/11/2019 12:58

My Aim is to dtd every other day after AF too as I think i will OV about 5 days after it finishes going from previous months. People say every day lowers the quality of the sperm, no idea how true that is but we were about every other day during fertile window too last time!

Jonesbabynumber1 · 23/11/2019 13:09

@BabyB19 @dizzy85 I managed dtd every other day until what I thought was my fertile period then 3 days of everyday then about every 3 days which I though was bound to do it maybe I’m ovulating later than I think so will just try ever other day after AF too just too cover the whole month 🙈😂 my DH will be pleased

BabyB19 · 23/11/2019 13:10

@Jonesbabynumber1 I'm going for the same this month, every other day through the cycle so that should cover whatever day it is I OV 🤞🏼

I’ve never thought of baby names but I’ve actually started a notes list on my phone I need help 😶

BabyB19 · 23/11/2019 13:27

I've been adding to my notes list of baby names since April, so if you're mad @Jonesbabynumber1 then I'm mad right there with you 😭🤣

OP posts:
Jonesbabynumber1 · 23/11/2019 13:33

@BabyB19 all the best people are a little mad 😭

dizzy85 · 23/11/2019 13:39

😆 I also have a list on my phone too It says I started it on the 8th may which was the first day of af then I found out I was pregnant the next month how strange ☺️ It's mostly girls names and one boys name as I think boys names are harder to think of.
Do you have a preference if you could pick a boy or girl for your first baby? Obviously I'd be happy with both but I always pictured my first to be a boy for some reason, I think because I grew up with sisters and there's all girls in our family.

Jonesbabynumber1 · 23/11/2019 13:58

@dizzy85 yes mine are mainly girls names no boys names I only recently started. I always imagined a girl but would be very happy with either.

BabyB19 · 23/11/2019 14:09

We are the other way around we like loads of boys names but not girls names, the girls names we can agree on are boys names too really 🤣🤣 @Jonesbabynumber1 @dizzy85 tbh I don't mind either sex I'm more worried about how many there are! I was a triplet but my mum MC the other 2 babies and both of my Nans are twins and have other twin siblings, so very high rate of multiples 🤦🏽‍♀️🤦🏽‍♀️🤦🏽‍♀️

OP posts:
Jonesbabynumber1 · 23/11/2019 14:20

Well If I’m struggling for boys names I know where too come for help. @BabyB19 wow you have got a good chance of having more than one baby. Except my NaN who’s a twin I haven’t got any other relatives and nor has my DH but people always say for some strange reason I’ll be the one who ends up with twins. @dizzy85 Do either of you want big families? I think I’ll be happy with the one I think but people always say you want more after the first.

dizzy85 · 23/11/2019 14:21

@Jonesbabynumber1 @BabyB19 yer I'd be happy with either too and I definitely want more than one though so this bfp needs to get a move on 😂. Oooh twins! We have a few sets of twins in the family so it's a possibility it could happen too, I love the idea of it but it would definitely be a lot harder. It amazes me reading stories of woman who have had multiples like 5s and stuff, do you remember octomum with 8? It's crazy the body can do that!

dizzy85 · 23/11/2019 14:23

@Jonesbabynumber1 I do love the idea of having a big family I think because I have two sisters and we all had so much fun together I'd love a minimum of 2 if I could.

Jonesbabynumber1 · 23/11/2019 14:37

@dizzy85 a baby is life changing any way let alone 8 I think I’d need to win the lottery. Yes I am
One of 4 sisters and I love them dearly but we didn’t get on until we were much older.

BabyB19 · 23/11/2019 14:37

We both want to have a couple. I have a reeeally big family, I have 2 brothers and 2 sisters just to start, my OH has a really small family. I thought we had agreed on having 2 (I would HATE to have an only child as coming from a big family I want my kids to experience growing up with that family community too, but the other day he mentioned having 3-4. Told him he needs to calm down as we're still working on the first one 😭🤣🤦🏽‍♀️ @dizzy85 @Jonesbabynumber1
