Two week wait...again

Hi mums/mumstobe, I’m currently in the two week wait after having a MMC (missed miscarriage) in June at 12 weeks. After a 10 week bleed I have settled into what seems to be a normal cycle again appx27/28 days. I’m saying I’m in the two week wait but I’m unsure if I’ve even OV. Anyone want to keep me company as I’m going out of my mind and feel like I’m boring the real people in my life 🤦🏽‍♀️

@Han133 I can see a line but not sure if it’s got any colour to it. How many Dpo are you? Only real way to tell is to wait for day of AF but I always test early too and so do others on this thread

I actually have no idea what DPO I am as I haven’t been tracking at all and I was actually on the pill (have been missing my pill a lot). I’ll probably just wait a couple more days and test again first thing in the morning as this test was taken this afternoon. Desperately trying not to get excited!

It’s days post ovulation so when your body was likely to release an egg. To estimate it Id half your average cycle length so if it’s 28 day most likely ovulated day 14 and the first day after that is 1dpo. How many days until your period is due?

Hi @Han133 I don't want to be a party pooper but I had 3 of these last month and nothing came on it so I know it's hard but try not to get too excited just yet. Wishing you lots of baby dust though 🌟

@BabyB19 sorry to hear that! I think we all see the tiniest line and instantly get excited because as everyone seems to say “a line is a line”
I don’t feel that I could get all too excited as I’m a bit nervous to be pregnant again as I really can’t deal with the heartache of losing another one! But I guess that’s natural.

@BabyB19 it’s so hard when you do want it to be a BFP so much but your right Best not to be too hopeful. My first cycle I had a clear positive and for it to disappear was heartbreaking. Ive just been to see my husbands parents I think they expect me too say I’m pregnant every time I see them I
So hoping next time I see them this will be the case. When I see people and they start digging I feel the need to mention that I’ve drunk alcohol as a code to say I’m not pregnant anyone else do this? Lol

Omg @Jonesbabynumber1 I keep doing this! 'I was so drunk at the weekend' is my go to when I see friends and relatives these days, even if I wasn't, just so they know not to ask!
You're right @Han133 I completely understand your apprehension I'm so wanting it to happen but at the same time scared for when it does

@BabyB19 i feel like carry a bottle of wine round with me and taking a drink when I see people 😂 I can tell this is going to be a long TWW. No idea what my bbt is doing wish I didn’t start just another thing to worry about each day 😩 least I’m getting the practice in of not sleeping. I never knew TTC would be this mentally straining I thought it be fun!

Do you think you could stop temping now you've have you're peak @Jonesbabynumber1 afterall rhe important bit it done now? X

@BabyB19 yes I may do it’s harder than I thought doing your temperature as your meant to do it first thing you wake up but also at same time each day so I’ve realised mine isn’t looking right as I have taken it earlier on a few days meaning the temp wasn’t as accurate. Why is nothing simple lol but the more I do things the more I learn I could probably teach it by the end

I’ve now realised this is going to be the longest TWW so far as it’s only 1pdo only 13 days to go x

Hi ladies so glad I've found this forum I've been lurking for a few weeks and this is my first post.
First month trying to conceive baby number 1 I've been using an app to track fertility window and ovulation. Its exactly 7 days since I ovulated and today I have some mild cramping and a pink discharge on wiping sorry TMI. Could this be early signs of pregnancy? My app says it's 8 days until my next period is due and it's usually pretty accurate with my 30 day cycle.

Hi @LVSV how do you know that you OV then, have you been tracking temp or doing opks? And with you saying you're on cycle 1 have you just come off contraception or anything?

@LVSV could be implantation but haven’t had this myself any spotting I’ve had had been AF turning up but this sounds to early for you. @BabyB19 glad to have someone with me. I’m currently distracting myself with Christmas shopping So my cards having a battering which I’ll soon regret lol. Is it me or does anyone else feel more broody with Christmas coming? All I keep seeings is family PJ sets either way I can see my husband having a set lol

@Jonesbabynumber1 I wanted to be able to tell people at Christmas I was pregnant but even if I am it will be too early to tell people now so there's that dream dashed!

@BabyB19 aw we are so similar i had the same hope I was dreaming of Christmasy ways to tell people little elf outfits or something cute. At one point before TTC I was thinking about which months I’d like to conceive which has now gone out the window after I’ve realised it’s not as easy as I thought it would be

Oh I planned my whole maternity leave around the months I wanted to pick off work @Jonesbabynumber1 how stupid and naive we were 😭🤦🏽‍♀️ I wanted to get w black T-shirt with the scan picture on the front of my belly to show everyone 😭

@BabyB19 I stopped taking the pill in June but have been using condoms until we started officially 'trying' this month. Since stopping my pill I've been using a fertility app to monitor periods, ovulation days etc. Ive not done temp monitoring or opks just checking on CM and made sure we DTD every day last week within the fertility window. The app has predicted every period correct since stopping the pill (every 30 days) so I hope that it's the same for ovulation but im no expert..

@Jonesbabynumber1 I agree it would be early with 8 days till AF especially when it's been so regular to the exact day since I stopped the pill.

I have no boob pain though, just mild cramps today and back pain since yesterday. Perhaps a bit of bloating too but that's it

@baby19 Don’t worry I was thinking about when my kid would go to school depending on the month they were born lol what we like. My issue is I’ve had so much time to think about these things without even thinking how long it would take me to catch. You sound like your a planner like me as I like to be organised. Fingers crossed this is our month. Where do you work? Is your maternity good?

@BabyB19Sorry I forgot to mention - on the predicted ovulation day I had egg white CM and this seemed to be the only day I had this - every other day there was nothing or a more 'creamy texture' sorry TMI

@LVSV sounds like you know your body well and I wish I hadn’t started the opk and temping. Only thing you could do is do a first response pregnancy test which you can do 5 days before period but my advice wait a while longer as lots of us have had false hope

@BabyB19 plus love idea of picture of t shirt my friend had hers painted on by a make up artist which was amazing

@LVSV you sound really on the ball so fingers crossed you're right and could be early implantation 🤞🏼 keep us posted but as @Jonesbabynumber1 days try and hold off on all the crazy testing/temping if you can.
I am definitely a planner you're right, I have excellent maternity leave as I'm a civil servant so I will be taking almost a year off I'm very lucky, how about you? X
