Two week wait...again

Hi mums/mumstobe, I’m currently in the two week wait after having a MMC (missed miscarriage) in June at 12 weeks. After a 10 week bleed I have settled into what seems to be a normal cycle again appx27/28 days. I’m saying I’m in the two week wait but I’m unsure if I’ve even OV. Anyone want to keep me company as I’m going out of my mind and feel like I’m boring the real people in my life 🤦🏽‍♀️

Jonesbabynumber1 · 01/11/2019 18:58

@BabyB19 Lol that’s me 😂 don’t apologise this is a safe zone humour very much welcome and needed

bluetue · 01/11/2019 20:31

Thank you @Jonesbabynumber1 and @Gee1235 looks like you are stuck with me for another cycle!!! 😂😂😂 @BabyB19 that is fab, been eating so much the past week but now realise it was me being a greedy cow!! Who cares!! 🙃🙃🙃

ceebee21 · 02/11/2019 08:05

AF arrived this morning...looks like a 12 day leuteal phase, but to be honest it's first period since erpc on 1st October, and actually first for a few years due to implant.

Can't say I've missed her!!!

At least fingers crossed next pregnancy I have a lmp to go by xx

BabyB19 · 02/11/2019 09:01

That's a positive way to think of it @ceebee21 last month I had a barely there period so this month having a more 'normal' one I'm counting as my first real and proper cycle now so we just need to not be disheartened as it seems our bodies are now adjusting and hopefully this will be a good strong OV and we'll get our bfps soon enough x

@Kayleigh0713 how are you getting on with the testing?

OP posts:
Gee1235 · 02/11/2019 11:02

Hey ladies, how's everyone doing?

I'm 9DPO and nothing really to report had a bit of a pulling feeling last night when I was laying in bed and a full back ache during the day but I feel like that could just be AF on it's way early, although my boobs usually hurt a week before AF and stop a couple of days before she appears although I'm due in 5 days so there is still time!

Haven't got any test apart from two CB digital which I'm not even going to bother using untill I get a BFP on another test. I might order some FRER tests if AF doesn't show up early in the next few days but I really going to try to test it and when I am late. Don't feel like this month is going to be the month.

Hope your all enjoying your weekends and not stressing about it all too much xx

Gee1235 · 02/11/2019 11:04

I really should read through my messages before I send as half of that doesn't make sense sorry! 😂

Plzbringmechocolate · 02/11/2019 11:07

@Gee1235
I'm 9DPO as well, had a backache this morning but could have been the way I slept?
Also been feeling tired and unmotivated and feel a bit like I've got a hangover. I've been feeling like this for 3 days or so. Nose has been stuffed up a bit aswell. Not sure what to think.

Gee1235 · 02/11/2019 14:59

@Plzbringmechocolate oh yay! When is your AF due / when are you going to start testing?

I'm trying not to symptom spot but it's so hard no matter how much you say your not going to! X

Kayleigh0713 · 02/11/2019 15:01

@BabyB19 sorry I've been a bit quiet. I've tested again using sainsbury brand, clear blue 6 days early and I did a clear blue digital today and all positive. Digital said 1 to 2 weeks!! I'm so happy. Thank you for your support. Good luck to rest of you aswell I really hope you all get your bfp before Christmas how amazing would that be x

BabyB19 · 02/11/2019 15:06

Aww congratulations @Kayleigh0713 at least we have some good news and you and @siaa are off on your way! I really hope you're right and we do 🥰 x

@Kayleigh0713 congratulations!

@BabyB19 this is definitely like my normal AF from before implant...gosh I really didn't miss having this every month.

I do feel quite positive about it though. I guess it's just nice to know my body is back to some kind of cycle pretty quickly following the ERPC! X

Gee1235 · 03/11/2019 06:29

@Kayleigh0713 congratulations! X

Plzbringmechocolate · 03/11/2019 06:33

@Gee1235 I'm due Thursday/Friday. When are you going to test? I feel so scared to test and can never do with first morning urine as I just chicken out. When I finally feel happy to do a test I've drank gallons of tea and water.

Plzbringmechocolate · 03/11/2019 06:34

@Kayleigh0713 congratulations!!

Plzbringmechocolate · 03/11/2019 06:40

This is a friends test, she's way past her period, about 10 days late. She's not getting strong lines at all, is this a faint bfp? Has anyone heard of people not getting bfp and still being pregnant?

Two week wait...again
Plzbringmechocolate · 03/11/2019 07:09

I caved, bfn, 10dpo

Plzbringmechocolate · 03/11/2019 07:36

This is my test, just took it out the casing because I thought I could see a line, it's gotten darker and darker. Is this an evap? It's only been 10 mins TIL I saw it but probably 20 mins now

Two week wait...again
Gee1235 · 03/11/2019 18:17

@Plzbringmechocolate me too I'm going to try and wait untill AF due as I don't feel like it's going to happen this month which is Friday.

Not sure about that test, did it have the line before the 10 mins or did it come after? I think the blue dye tests are meant to be bad for reliability, have you got a first response one to try? X

Plzbringmechocolate · 03/11/2019 18:46

@Gee1235 I took the casing off the test after 5 min, the timeframe for looking at it says 10 mins. Brought some first response today x

BabyB19 · 03/11/2019 19:11

I've read lots of posts that say do not take the test apart as it invalidates the result, sorry to be negative @Plzbringmechocolate but I agree maybe try a pink dye test. I have everything crossed for you x

OP posts:
BabyB19 · 03/11/2019 19:13

How are we all doing? I've spent the day hungover and had to cook a roast for the in laws 😭 definitely made the most of that bfn! 🤣 x

OP posts:
Plzbringmechocolate · 03/11/2019 20:03

@BabyB19 yeah I've read loads saying about blue dye tests being invalid too, I don't really want to take the first response now I hate to see negative results :( thanks for the support x
