Hi, i have just got married and we are ttc our first! We started about 2 years ago but then my husband had an accident and we stopped then we were planning a wedding so we only just started again 3 months ago. I am 39 and my OH is 40. I'm a bit worried about my age and what steps I should be taking etc. Any advice or someone to chat to in the same boat would be lovely as I feel really alone on this journey xx

Hi all not been on for a bit hope we're all doing ok?

@BabyMoonPie that's good news on the blood results 👍 I just got mine back today and they also say all normal, so we'll see what happens over the next few months.

Actually not trying this cycle, waiting till next one which should be Dec. Hoping for bfp and a September baby!

Actually way ahead of myself, I'd have to skip two cycles to have a September baby! Would love a September baby but we probably shouldn't wait two cycles to try again. Would feel like wasted chances.

Thanks @WooMaWang and @Maybebaby2 - glad your results were OK too. The frustration continues!

Only do it if you're prepared to be going through the menopause whilst your DDs are going through puberty..!!!

WooMaWang · 28/10/2019 07:50

I'm not sure why that would be a reason not to really.

Nicsfh80 · 28/10/2019 14:01

@WooMaWang I was wondering why someone would write that!! Very strange. We would hardly be the first women to ttc at this age!!

I know. It's such an odd comment.
