TTC #2 September

Hello!

So after breastfeeding for 10months and not having a period since beau fell pregnant with my first baby (11.5months old) my period finally came back 16th Aug...11months after my daughter was born.
We had been trying for baby number 2 for a while but honestly it was so hard not knowing where I stood re ovulation and period. So I couldn't properly get into the swing of it lol.
Since my period returned, I have kept tracked using the ovia app, and we gave it a good jolly go all of last week when it said I should be ovulating (poor hubby didn't know what hit him hahahahah)!
I'm not expecting to be one of those lucky few (you know the ones who fall preg the first time!) but, thought it'd be nice to have some support from women going through the same journeys.

Ps, i don't know what all the abbreviations are in other threads I've seen so I may need help!

How is everyone doing? Anyone going to test soon?

Feeling pretty discouraged at the moment, had really sore boobs for a few days but it’s faded now so just waiting for AF... 🙁

I am only around 7/8dpo so too early. But I tested anyway haha. I'm due on a week today

Think I should be 9 dpo and doing remarkably well refusing to symptom spot. AF due Thursday so hoping can hold off until Wednesday at least to test. Interested that using ovulation tests can work as I have loads of them! Have never got reliable results so don't bother with them for ovulation predication.

@Wrigleys123 Thank you I have been taking Fertility Smart Advanced vitamins for the last 3 months but this month I did two things different, I followed the SMEP plan, now this is intense, but after nearly a year trying I get my BFP the first months doing this!

Also the day after I ovulated I ate Pineapple Core for about 9 days after (now its very chewy and not the nicest) but this is supposed to help implantation, google pineapple core when trying to conceive, I was amazed at what I read and thought i'd give it a try.

Aah great news @HayleyD84 😁🎉 It's such a good feeling getting that bfp!

I got a faint line on ovulation test this morning, so didn't bother using pregnancy test. If no AF symptoms today will likely give in and test tomorrow.

@allezallezallez ha ha honestly I was so relieved we wouldn't have to DTD so much
I forgot to mention I also used pre-seed too.

@Sprintfinish its an amazing feeling, but then the worry instantly sets in.

I've been a bit worried as i've still been testing (silly I know).
But I had a strong ish positive on a FRER on Sunday, but then yesterday and this morning I had vvvvf lines on a normal test (25miu tests) I would have thought my HCG levels would be enough to be strong on a normal test, i'm just hoping the levels get stronger.

I've been having horrible cramps, I dropped my Son to school and could have sworn I was bleeding, I ran to the toilet and nothing, I cried with relief.

Now the roller-coaster starts! x

Still only at cd11 here so long way to go! Ordered this ovusense thing to help pinpoint ovulation but I can't get to grips with it so that's 80 pounds down the drain!

£80! Oh boy, hopefully you'll get the hang of it. I've never had a positive result on an ovulation tests and they discouraged me when trying for DC1 so gave up.

I tested on Thursday (cd28) and it was negative. My cycle has been 28 days past 2 months but before that was anywhere from 29-32 days so I'm not sure where I'm at! No spotting which is unusual for me so will test again in morning but not feeling hopeful.

Hello everyone, I've just come out of my fertile window but not feeling very optimistic, due to illness and work we only managed to DTD twice and I'm discounting the first "shot" as it had been a week before our last sesh so the little swimmers were probably dead ones.
Never mind, sometimes life just gets in the way lol! 🤷🏻‍♀️
When is everyone's next test day?

Tested again today, bfn but still no sign of AF. Test is an Amazon cheapie with expiry date 10/2019 but no reason not to trust it. I don't feel pregnant but with AF now lateish I have no idea what's going on 🤔

Hello everyone, was trying to wait until CD34 to test because cycle is sometimes longer, made it to this morning, CD33 and got a BFP! Still can’t believe it, was so sure I was out!

Hi everyone and congrats on the BFPs!
I've been off the app to try and stop obsessing over every little thing but it appears I couldn't stay away 😂

I'm after a bit of advice... AF showed up on the 5th October (3 days early) and lasted 5 days as opposed to my usual 3. I went to the bathroom earlier (CD10) and had bloody discharge when I wiped (sorry TMI)...google says this could be ovulation bleeding which I've never had before and I was just wondering if anyone else has experienced this?

There's another thread where this reads basically word for word and the lady ended up being pregnant.. trying not to get that idea in my head though 😂

My body has basically just decided to play games since we've started TTC 🙄😴

I'm not going crazy am I.. there is a second line there? I'm so confused!
