Thanks for all your positive messages.
Hope i'm not pg this month. Haven't done it since Sunday and I don't think I'm due to ov until this weekend so hopefully should be in the clear. Last thing I want right now is more sex, so will definitely leave it until back is better and no longer at risk of getting pg this month. Looking forward to af around 31st of this month and then it's all systems go again next month for that BFP (subject to back letting me and feeling like bding after going back to work after 3 months off!)

penguinmum · 16/08/2007 19:32

Thanks Josey. Was thinking implantation bleed, but trying not to get my hopes up! 2 weeks never seemed so long!!

moodymoo · 16/08/2007 20:01

libralady, glad the back didn't turn out to be serious, you must be relieved that you don't need another op. Think you are doing the right thing putting ttc on hold untill next month (but you do realise that now you have decided that, it will be the month you get a bfp, called sods law!!).
Digitalgirl - how are the positive thoughts coming along? have you got a happy face on?

penguinmum · 17/08/2007 17:12

don't think i can have had an implantation bleed - been looking on the net and it is too early to be that. Spotting has stopped now, and had some definite ewcm this afternoon, so off to drag dh by his hair into the bedroom!

Penguin- some women spot a bit when they ovulate- so it sounds like that is what it may have been. Or it could have just been from sex- that sometimes happens too.

walkingwomb · 17/08/2007 19:20

Hey all!

Silly question - but how early can you start to feel symptoms? I have been feeling a bit nauseous over the last couple of days - just low level. I know I could just be a big hysterical think I am preggers girl so not getting to excited. However, thing is I don't fancy any booze too (v unusual!). Tis at least two weeks until I can find out.

digitalgirl -

libralady - hope you are bouncing back soon.

everyone else - hi!

WW

josey · 17/08/2007 19:50

hehehe penguinmum

WW somepeople feel rubbish right off, I was like that with DS though had no idea.

I think im in for a bug of some kind tummy is blotted and cramping alot also feeling a bit travel sick, if you know what i mean.

its dds 2nd birthday the day im due if im lucky enough to have a 28dc, so that might take my mind off things keeping busy the next couple of weeks[hmmm] then again!

goingfor3 · 18/08/2007 16:42

Hello ladies,

I'm on CD26 and just want my period to start so I know my body is working after my m/c. Beofre my m/c my cycles were between 23 and 26 days so I imagine it will start soon, I'm certainly getting pmt!

lulu1414 · 18/08/2007 17:00

Good luck with the AF, goingfor... I hope you are feeling a bit better now.

digitalgirl · 18/08/2007 18:31

Hello all,

Today, I'm feeling a lot more positive despite the blustery rain. Have been on a bit of a detox the past few weeks, to lose weight and prep myself for ttc and I think the lack of chocs, cake and coffee has been taking it's toll. I thought you were supposed to feel better on a detox?

penguinmum I think I've had a later hatch than expected too, mistaking ov cramps for pg symptoms...so more bd'ing for the next few days i think our dh's like it when we go all cavewoman on them.

goingfor3 hope your cycle settles down soon.

Have bought my first ever pregnancy test. Boots own brand. Have promised not to use it till Sep 2nd, which is when AF is due if I'm on another long cycle. How far away is that? If it comes earlier, then I've not wasted it. Although, since joining MN all notion of patience and self-discipline when it comes to ttc seem to have gone out the window.

Hope you're all having a lovely weekend, either bd'ing, resting and/or eating cake.

dg x

penguinmum · 19/08/2007 11:11

digitalgirl - lol at hatching! have realised that late hatching must be how dd happened as well! not sure dh is as keen on cavewoman approach anymore, he wants us to have a break from bding for a few days now. am now cd17 though, and am fairly sure I've 'hatched', so it's not too much of an issue

I too have been trying to lose some weight prior to ttc, and also have pg tests in bathroom ready and waiting! have just realised af is actually due on 31st - should i really be on august thread?

Lazylou · 19/08/2007 11:38

Hello, can I join in too? We are ttc dc2 and have been for the past 3 months. DD was conceived very quickly into our relationship (4 months) and she will be 4 in January so we think the time is right to start ttc now.

I woke up yesterday feeling pg (I know that sounds daft!), my boobs are sore, I'm totally wiped out and AF isn't due for another two weeks, otherwise I would have put it down to that. I think I'm probbly being a bit too optimistic, but its just a feeling that I can't seem to shake. The other factor could be that there are 2 other people pg at work so maybe that is playing on my mind.

Anyway, good luck to you all for this month! Looking forward to joining the chat.

digitalgirl · 19/08/2007 15:31

Hi Lazylou - welcome to the obsession with ttc!

and hi everyone

Dh is currently out working (on a sunday ) so i have yet again gravitated towards mn and googling conception sites.

tmi alert - so now i know how to check my cm internally. had a good old root around and found nothing...maybe i did ov last weekend...obviously my naive young self back then didn't know of tips such as ewcm so i wasn't on the lookout.

am confused as have had consistently mild cramps/indigestion all week and been having the occasional cry for no reason, but my boobs are remarkably unsore. the pessimist in me thinks its prob a combination of work stress (unusual for me as i work a three day week) and mild cystitis from too much boffing . the optimist thinks sept 2nd is bloody ages to wait to test.

broke the detox yesterday evening and sent dh out in the rain for Gu's chocolate pudding. yum!

TheMuppetMuggle · 19/08/2007 15:40

Hi Girls

Can i Join, we decided last nite to try for baby 2

I have a DD 2.5yrs and we feel is right time to add to our family.

not sure how many days my cycle is tho between 21-28 tho (never see AF same sort of time in the month)

sweetkitty · 19/08/2007 21:43

hi me back again so sorry to see some familiar names on here from the May/June threads I was on.

Am still in the process of mc DB3 once bleeding has stopped will be ttc again. I already have DD1 3.1y and DD2 19 months. DD1 took 9 months of ttc after being on the pill forever, DD2 first cycle and DB3 first cycle (do I still call it DB3 I don't know if I get pregnant again will it be DB3 or DB4 DB3 doesn't feel right) have no clue when cycles will get back to normal but I can predict ov pretty accurately so heres hoping.

scorpio - just read about your BFP I know how much you wanted it BIG CONGRATULATIONS

looneytune · 20/08/2007 09:02

Morning all. Can I join in? Think I'm going to have to leave the August thread very soon

On CD30 now but not sure how long my cycle will be as first month after coming off the pill. I definitely feel AF coming and my cervix is low and hard which I believe (after a lesson from TLSM) means it will be coming. So I wish it would hurry up and arrive so I can start the next month sooner!

scorpio1 · 20/08/2007 09:35

thanks sweetkitty. so sorry to hear it went wrong for you

TheMuppetMuggle · 20/08/2007 09:41

Congrats Scorpio

Fingers crossed it happens for the rest of us!!!

digitalgirl · 20/08/2007 11:56

Welcome muppetmuggle, sweetkitty and looneytune!

Sorry to hear of your loss sweetkitty

Looneytune, AF coming boo! but at least you know it's all working . When i came off the pill last year it took a good two or three months for my cycle to settle down...would often skip AFs. i know of a few friends who came off it only to not have AF for 8 or 9 months.

I am CD23, and on the 2ww - am expecting AF sometime between wed and the weekend next week. Or a bfp for early sep

Fingers crossed for everyone!

dgx

TheMuppetMuggle · 20/08/2007 12:01

Thanks DG

have worked out i'm on CD 9

sweetkitty · 20/08/2007 13:04

When I came off the pill with DD1 it took 9 months ttc even though I was having regular periods, I think it can take a while to ovulate regularly again too.

Thanks for the welcome never thought I would be back on the ttc so soon bleeding has all but stopped now so thats a good thing. I think they prefer you to have one period before ttc for dating a pregnancy, we won't really be trying this month coming but won't be using anything to prevent it either so if it happens it happens.

TheMuppetMuggle · 20/08/2007 14:13

SK - i can't go on the pill as theres something in them that doesn't agree with me, so now stopped using protection all together fingers crossed it happens soon

pipsqueeke · 20/08/2007 14:18

hi all I might as well come back over as well - will keep you company kitty - we also have a ttc after m/c thread going on as well.

i'm ttc for a no 2 as well. had a m/c at the start of the month so whilst we're not being careful we're not really expecting anything either. have an apt tomorrow with the dr - lots and lots of questions - must right them down actually.

anyhow bleeding stopped about a week after it started and got a bfn about a week after that (last sat ) was relived but also v sad. anyhow scan showed all clear to tart again so off we go

TheMuppetMuggle · 20/08/2007 14:41

Hey Pip Sorry to read about you m/c
How are you other than that??

I've joined the TTC as trying for No 2 now
