Hi Scorpio - Again . Can you put me out of my misery and tell me what ewcm means? Its funny you mention watching out for periods returning to normal, this month mine is back with a bang, just like precoil.
Livvigirl - my cycles are all over the place too since having the mirena removed in May. Mine have been like this

withdrawal bleed
24
6 (i know!)
31
19

Here's to a BFP in September!

scorpio1 · 09/08/2007 08:41

Egg White Cervical Mucus - your fertile mucus.

read more here

This site explains it quite well, also tells you how to check, etc

honey28 · 09/08/2007 08:45

Thanks!

tigerschick · 09/08/2007 08:46

scorpio1 · 09/08/2007 08:47

just more is good enough! yay! crossing everything for you now

digitalgirl · 09/08/2007 11:20

hello ladies,

sorry for your mc goingfor3, are you actually going for 4 now?

good luck with the clomid lulu & tigerschick!

hello scorpio, been following some of your threads, congrats on the bfp!

just found out dh has been hiding a small debt from me, too embarrassed to admit he's not been earning enough lately...feeling v. guilty about demanding he start saving money he doesn't have so that i can take 6 months off next year (we're both freelance)

now not sure if we can afford to have a lo as early as june

josey · 09/08/2007 12:34

Hey all, still waiting on word of DH coming home, though he did make some comment on the phone about his little swimmers, why do men think they have bionic sperm At least he is interested I should give him a point for that

Tiger your laughing at the test but I had to wait 2 days I was pacing the floors

Goingfor3 best of luck and to everyone else that has just posted

goingfor3 · 09/08/2007 15:06

Thanks for all of your good luck ladies. I'm on cd 17 and I usually ov quite early but really don't know what to expect this cyle. I had something hich looked like egg white for a couple of days but it could have been dp. I said I wasn't going to get obbsessive but I can already feel myself getting that way.

tigerschick · 09/08/2007 17:08

goingfor3 - someone on here said that, if it's after midday, the chances are it's you and not your dp. HTH

mowmi · 09/08/2007 17:15

Hi Ladies, I'm CD 8 of what are usually 38-42 day cycles. My hormones are officially all over the place as my OPK tells me I'm at high fertility (not peak) already? ah well... get the results of all the tests me and DH have been having on Monday. Just had first hypnotherapy session to try and calm me down... really enjoyed it very relaxing! Also going to try accupuncture once I know what I'm dealing with on Monday.
Good luck all x

goingfor3 · 09/08/2007 17:26

Thanks for that tigerschick the day before yesterday it probably was me then. It's amazing how quickly you can forget how to ttc!

Livvigirl · 09/08/2007 18:30

HI Scorpio1 and Honey28,
thanks that info, it was really helpful.

This may seem a silly questions, but if you are not in a regualr cycle, can you get pregnant? I sound like a teeenage I know !!!!!!
I already have a daughter but she was'nt planned, and this planning babies stuff is really quite stressful!!!

goingfor3 · 09/08/2007 18:32

In the five months before I got pregnant last time my cycles were between 23 and 28 days. Hopefully it won't be a problem for you.

scorpio1 · 09/08/2007 18:36

of course you can i did!

tigerschick · 09/08/2007 18:47

Of course you can get pg - I did and it turns out I ovulate about 3 times a year - and at completely random intervals. The irregularity is because your ovulations don't follow a pattern. You would only have problems if you don't ovulate at all - and if you are having periods, no matter how infrequent, it is almost definate you can and will get pg - it's just a matter of time (I say 'almost' because you can have an-ovulatory cycles, but these are rare and treatable)

Livvigirl · 09/08/2007 19:11

I think I have had the ewcm, not quite known what that was for before, but now it will be like the green light!!!
I can't stop thinkg about being pg, it's crazy as i'm not that meternal!!! Hope it won't be too long though.

josey · 09/08/2007 23:53

ok question time, I know i have 2 kids but I have never done any of this charting, temps, fluid thingies Ive just bonked away , anyway all those things happen to me on a regular basis while I have been on the pill, why would that be?do you still go through all the process though still protected?or am i just strange, I had a bit of a gunky egg white tonight though a bit early after af and far to early if dh isnt home huh!this is very complicated, maybe i will just stick to lots of nookie with my hubbie shut me eyes n hope for the best lol!

bramblina · 10/08/2007 00:31

Hello Josey, fancy seeing you here! If we get lucky we may even share 2 threads! LOL

Hello everyone me again, AF came to drag me down last Tuesday. Whoop de bloody do. So here's to another few weeks...

Really didn't expect this this time

josey · 10/08/2007 09:33

Hey Brambalina, you caught me out lol! That would be good if we were lucky at the same time again, we can share double woes

Though I dont expect any results to be honest, especially when I cant get my Dh at home grrr!

bramblina · 10/08/2007 23:27

Funny you say that, my dh left on mon and won't be home till Fri. Longest he's been away in nearly a year. Typical!

josey · 11/08/2007 14:30

He will be back in good timing for you then

I picked up Dh this morning, he has been up since 6 yesterday morning, so I sent him to sleep on the sofa watching the football with a warning to get rest as he will be busy tonight

toytownmum · 11/08/2007 23:49

Evening all

can't believe how this thread has grown already
I am now on CD9 so not long to those serious baby dancing days

mowmi · 12/08/2007 12:22

i think I'm going mad OPK has moved to high and dh's libido is almost non exsistent. he really wants a baby but just thinks it'll happen when it happens! We are never going to get pregnant if we carry on BD once a week! I want to kill him! he's buggered off diving today and I'm glad because I think I might explode at him!
It's also knocking my confidence, feel desperate all the time and that he just doesn't want me enought to do it more frequently.

sorry I'm rambling... hope all you TTC ladies are well and getting more effort form your DP's than I am x

lulu1414 · 12/08/2007 13:09

Oh Mow- poor you. Maybe he is feeling under pressure... I imagine it must be tough to "perform" when it is not about sex anymore but trying to make a baby. Hope he returns soon and in the mood.

mowmi · 12/08/2007 13:20

thank lulu, we get the results of both our tests tomorrow (there's a big chance I'm not ovulating) so maybe hearing it from the docs will make him realise I'm not over-reacting.

I'm just pretty angry with him, I'm in a job I hate and the only thing keeping me going is trying to get pregnant, I don't want to move jobs because the maternty package is good where I am but is he's not going to put the effort in then I want to look for a new job and put the baby making on hold for 18 months or so!

Sorry rambling again... lulu where you up to?

By the way ladies, want to let you all know I'm loving hypnptherapy (you wouldn't think so give this mornings rant!)
