hi an welcome C&C and bellie

goingfor3 at the comments, I think it's not meant to be the same for me as I've had my regulation 2 and what do I want another one for anyway?

digitalgirl - I know what you mean it is an obsession and everything is a symptom too

muppetmuggle - happy BDing heres hoping it's your lucky cycle this month

I have my scan tomorrow and hopefully after that the last little bit of bleeding will go away. Poor DP has been sex starved for so ling, he's not complained though don't think he would have dared but I think he is looking forward to the green light. Does anyone else feel a bit erm funny about BDing after the mc I suppose it's like after childbirth you have ot get that first one under your belt so to speak but it's like you have gone through such a trauma down there it feels strange. DP thinks he has super sperm anyway given that the past twice he has knocked me up first month of ttc. Bet you this time it will take a lot longer such is sods law.

Anyway better go DDs are creating havoc, DD2 was up at 6.30am this morning don't know why she has started this but she is so crabby and ready for a nap now.

A mobile phone that tells you when you ovulate - who thought of that??????

pipsqueeke · 21/08/2007 13:28

MM - i'm good thanks had a pos exp with my dr this morning so hopefulyl everyhting will come back clear so i'll be staying wiht you girls - prob won't think aboutttc - she says! lol. until I've seen her and had my bloods/results etc in 5 weeks but will still keep bd'ing and using persona. how are you?

lt - yes they say every other day for the sperm to be tip top as it were.

kitty - erm honestly first tiem was a bit like after childbirth but all is well now - key is to relax- have a glass of wine or two! [weyhey! lol]

lol@ dg. I know these men! - you'd think they'd love sex every night wouldn't you - all I get is 'i'm not a light switch you can just flick on and off you know' lol. also I have ewcm just before AF is due to come.

C&C - hiya and welcome.

aussie - sorry you had to join us.

josey · 21/08/2007 16:40

Hi all, nothing very exciting happening here just waiting things out now really.

My head is spinning after trying to catch up, I cant believe how horrible some people have been to some of you.

On ewcm ? i read somewhere the other day that you have a different sort which also tells you that you are going through your infertile stage(its scaring the sh** out of me the things im finding out this time why oh why did i ever read any of it)

Happy Birthday Kitty. I had that phone still got it somewhere, I remember a friend of mind being told to buy one by her doc

Happy Bding every1

TheMuppetMuggle · 22/08/2007 12:20

And is it advisable to get ovulation kits??
Do they help??

digitalgirl · 22/08/2007 12:29

Hi MM,
Scorpio posted this link the other day which I found really helpful.

dgx

TheMuppetMuggle · 22/08/2007 12:36

Thanks DG

Do you think ovulation kits are a good idea??

digitalgirl · 22/08/2007 12:54

ovulation kits - haven't had the chance to try them myself as we only decided to start ttc halfway through this cycle.
this has obviously led to me not knowing when i'm bloody ovulating other than checking standard online ovulation calendars. hence my obsession with cm...

If I don't get a bfp this time round I'm definitely getting a kit for the next cycle as I can't stand not knowing if I have or haven't ov'ed.

you thinking of getting one? some people just check cm, some people also check their temperature...don't think i could do that every morning.

TheMuppetMuggle · 22/08/2007 13:04

I don't really understand what i'm looking for when it comes to CM, but guess i'll learn
And was thinking about OK yeah but don't want to become to obsessed with it iykwim??

TheMuppetMuggle · 22/08/2007 19:27

My Comp won't let me open up Scorpios link

moodymoo · 22/08/2007 20:36

hiya ladies, my 2nd attempt at moving over from August thread - clearly in denial before. Some of you might find www.fertilityfriend.com helpful. You can sign up for 20 e-mails which tell you how to check ewcm, temperatures etc. If you do basal temperatures you can put them on and it will plot them all on a graph for you and records things like ewcm etc - I have found it really helpful - it doesn't cost anything (u can upgrade at a cost but the basic package is fine). Worth a look anyway.
I started checking my temps last month, it is good to show you when and if you have ovulated. Am using a clearblue monitor this month for first time so hopefully will help me (not getting my hopes up though cos I can't cope with the disappointment at end of month)and have a few opk's hidden in the car out of dh's view (cos he will go mad if he sees I have spent even more money on ttc).

sweetkitty · 22/08/2007 21:57

The phone is a very sexy and girly Samsung E570, you pop your last period date in and cycle length and it tells you your pink days (AF), OV day and peak fertile days. I made up a CD1 to see how it works

For me EWCM is very obvious feels like I have wet myself theres that much of it (TMI) I used get pain low down on OV day. BD every 2 days from day 10 to day 18 and it worked first time. Have fell twice first month of ttc bet it takes ages this time teach me for being a smug cow.

looneytune · 23/08/2007 08:58

Morning all. Well, I'm no longer knicker watching. Period finally turned up this morning!!! I shouted to dh 'FINALLY!!' and was quite relieved as I just knew I wasn't pg (once I knew I had cystitis and it explained my symptoms). I'm feeling better about things now as this is my first natural period (i.e. not pill) and I'm less worried about this early menopause now however still going to talk through with the Dr so I can understand it all more.

looneytune · 23/08/2007 09:00

Can we do one of those cycle lists? I like to see where everyone is at - that ok? I'll start with me and then you can either copy and paste and add yourself or just put your name and CD etc. (with no other message so I can see it ) and I'll add you to the list!

Right...........

Well I've done the biggest thing to ensure that I get pregnant now M&D don't know we are ttc again, and have been moaning about the room that the cot and playpen are taking up in their house so I have listed them on e-Bay. You can guarantee as soon as they have sold I WILL get my BFP.
