@GoodCow are you making sure to limit your fluid intake for a couple of hours before doing your OPK's? They all look very light 😕 And also try doing 2. One mid morning and one evening. Is there a chance you could use the clear blue digital tests one month instead of the stick ones? I never got a clear positive using the sticks but fell pregnant the first month trying CB because it takes away the ambiguity which is important when following SMEP.

@Carley321 oh I still google all sorts of nonsense but I feel slightly in more control 😂 it's difficult because the support on here is incredible and helped me SO much when TTC but pregnancy is a big enough worry as it is!

This might be a stupid question but with cb digital OPKs and smep you start your every day bding once you have the static right? I got my first flashing smiley today so I'm still supposed to be bding eod until peak?

@GoodCow I read that those ones aren't positive unless the test line is as dark or darker than the control, BUT your peak can come and go within 4 hours so you might miss it. If you see it rising then going fainter again then I would imagine you missed it and yes that was your peak day. Remember peak lh is 12-36 hours before you ovulate so temp may take 1-2 days to rise after.

Thanks all. Will DTD again tonight and see what tomorrow's test says. Will try CB next month, hopefully it will be clearer!

FW starts tomorrow so think will just try to DTD as much as possible from now

@Mooey89 tbh that's what we are going to do if this hasn't worked, I found it way too intense.

I got my peak this morning had 5 flashing smileys so was starting to think it wouldn't happen which was stupid of me because I know I O later in the cycle anyway:

9dpo and BFN for me! Hopefully now I've tested I'll be able to last the week without testing again now!

@SMiles14 yay, glad you got your static! You should be in the tough '3 in a row' stage now but it's worth it, trust me. Good luck!!

So I've done OPKs 2 times today - one at about 2:30 and one at 7:30. The 2:30 one is the strongest I've got so far, hence why I took the second, but the second one has a weaker line?! Does this mean I've missed it? The same thing happened last month - I got stronger lines the others, but never ones that were as far or darker to be sure it's a positive. Should I treat this as a positive?? Or am I not ovulating?! This is 3 days after my app predicted ovulation to be. I'm going to DTD tonight and tomorrow anyway, but this is so frustrating!!

@AdalbertWaffling hi again! This is perfectly normal, your LH surge can be super short, like only a couple of hours, so it is possible to miss it all together. But remember it just means you are going to ovulate in the next 12-36 hours so you haven't missed O.
I never got a line as dark as control on cheapies so switched to CB digitals. They are pricey but they give you the whole fertile window including high fertility days before your LH surge so you can cover alll bases

Congrats @HayleyD84 !! How many DPO was your BFP? How long have you been TTC! Hoping for beginners luck on SMEP here - 15dpo today but only BFNs so far and some spotting at midnight on night of 13dpo! Hoping it's implantation but suspect It's just AF on the way!!

This was my 10th Cycle trying and as I am over 35 I was undergoing fertility tests.

I tested at 8 & 9dpo on an IC early result 10miu test and under certain lights I swore I could see a shadow, so I went out and brought two FRERs. I got a vvfl on a FRER at 10dpo (you could def see the line) and I got a stronger line at 11dpo. (the pic above).

I'm panicking now though as I have done some normal tests (25miu) and the line is very very faint. I'm just hoping its just not strong enough yet.
I've had cramps too. I dropped my son to school and could have sworn i was bleeding, ran into the toilet and I wasn't, I cried with relief.

Such lovely news for you. It’s been 13 months for us now, (apart from the odd occasion) I'm slowly losing hope. I’m sure all is fine. It’s just that some tests are more sensitive than others. What made you test early? A feeling, or full on signs and symptoms?

Didn’t you say you were taking fertility smart? Do you think it helped, I’ve been undecided on trying it because of the price.

@toomuchteaandcake congrats! Was it your first time doing it? We did it last month for the first time! Didn't work. We've tried something similar this month (not quite full SMEP) so will see what happens this month!!

@BewilderedBee yes first time and first cycle! I cannot believe it worked, my OH still doesn't believe it!
