Evening primrose has worked really well for me, I never had any EWCM, just wet before I took it and now I get at least one day with it. Should say though that you should only take it until Ovulation each month, same with the shavitari as there arent enough tests to say its definitely ok when pregnant.

I'm just taking well woman vitamins (normal ones not for conception) as I already had these, vitamin D and high strength folic acid.

I'm only taking folic acid. Was taking boots cheap multivits but ran out a while ago.

Feels like ovulation is taking ages to come round this cycle!

Im on cycle day 14, not due to ovulate until Tuesday which seems quite late!

@omikron how do you know you are not due to ovulate until Tuesday? I generally ovulate on cd 19 but it has been CD21/ 21/ 22 and an early as cd16 so it does vary. The apps rarely get it right for me!!

oops... was going to say, late ovulation is fine and very common. :)

I know from Previous cycles and I'm very regular I'm also temping and using OPKS

ah right I see well if thats normal for you then I would say it's fine, just annoying that we have to wait so long to start trying!!!

@omikron we might be cycle buddies! I'm also cd14 and my app is predicting ovulation on Wednesday. Going to start opk tomorrow. Would be nice if I ovulated a bit earlier this cycle. At least we don't have too long to wait now.

I'm taking fertility smart, they are very expensive, work out about £20 a bottle 1 month's supply.

I'm on CD11 and this is my first time doing SMEP.
I'm also using pre-seed and going to eat pineapple core after ovulation.

I'm taking boots own folic acid with vitamin D.

@thelittlepeanut I have been TTC since Oct last year so after this month it will be 12 months. Already gone and got blood tests with the GP and referred to the fertility clinic! Hoping this month will be our month tho! First time trying SMEP and hoping the relief of our first appointment coming will just make it happen! Sounds weird but my GP said it's surprising how many get pregnant once they've been referred!!

AF came for me today. Taking us to cycle 11.
I’ve ordered inofolic and DH and I have had a chat - I’m going to really focus my diet, he is going to quit smoking and we’re going to really give it our all for the 3 months supply I’ve ordered. If nothing happens in that time we can reassess and see what we want to do next - IVF or adoption, or just accept that our family is complete. It helps me feel more in control with a plan.

@Mooey89 sorry to hear af came. May I ask how many you already have?

Inofolic is a supplement- it’s really expensive - but my friend recently had a consultation with an IVF nurse who said they recommend it for IVF patients and lots of people have got pregnant before needing IVF! I have pcos and this is what it helps with, so fingers crossed.

I’m CD24 (usually 30/33 day cycle) and I’m already feeling signs of af and a few cramps, and it’s not even a week after ovulation (if I even ovulated). 😡 I have no chance of even getting a little excited these days!

Good luck @Carley321 . I had a positive OPK last night! Quite a surprise as it was CD14 - quite early for me! Although glad to just get there! DTD CD13, last night and will tonight and tomorrow night. It's my first time doing SMEP and chuffed to bits we've got it spot on. We've managed every other night up until my positive OPK. Will be month 12th for us and I know it will hit us hard if were not successful this month. Felt a bit fragile about it today, think it's just anxiety about this month as my expectations are slightly higher doing the plan! X

@Carley321 I've read allot of women say they felt AF coming and was certain thetly were out and then get their BFP. I'm hoping this is the case for you, good luck 👍🏼 XX

@BewilderedBee I feel the same as you, I'm on Cycle 10 and first time doing SMEP and even though I know it might not work I have more hope than normal doing this so I will be more gutted if AF comes.

I'm on CD14 and still waiting for positive OPK.
we've DTD every other night since so on plan 👍🏼

I must say though I will be glad when the last DTD day is done and we can take a break lol

Hi all, CD6 and ready for SMEP again DTD yesterday so I guess we already started. My cycles are only 25 days so I'm meant to start earlier. I normally ovulate CD11 so hopefully not long to go. Did my first OPK for this cycle today and negative but as expected.

@BewilderedBee good luck. Well it sounds like you’ve maximised you chances so 🤞. I know how you feel about the 12th cycle and smep. I was the same last month, it hit me for 6 when af showed up. It can be such a difficult time. Still 🙏 that we will all get there though!

I’m pretty sure I’m getting my tell tale signs though plus a spot and that lower belly discomfort when using the toilet 😡. Pretty sure I’m out. It just frustrates me that I start having signs of af so so soon after ov.

Currently on CD10 so in the full swing of SMEP. Have to say, having to go back to tracking and testing after having had a BFP already is pretty shit. Feel a bit sorry for myself every time I have to pee on a stick! Really hope the next BFP sticks this time

We're on cycle day 18 of SMEP. Will dtd tonight, rest tomorrow and one again the next day for luck.

I'm finally on CD10, started my cb advanced this morning, feels good to finally be doing something and approaching fw! I actually have no idea when I will eat my peak, I used to ov on cd19-20 but last month it was 16 🤷🏻‍♀️ Hoping for another cd 16 though!!
