@thelittlepeanut we've got a few ideas, maybe Dubai or west coast states. Even thought about Australia! We'll see- wouldn't book flights for a few months in case and prices might be too much by then. We went to Japan a few years ago, it was a really cool place to visit!

I definitely need to eat more fish I’m lucky to get one portion in. Tuna is an excellent idea as That’s one of not many fish I don’t mind (only out of a tin though! @Skyla01
I’ve been through the obsessive bit. Was still there until I had my hsg. Now I just feel a bit blah about it all and just waiting on appointments now.

@Skyla01 Australia would be amazing! Long ass journey though, def not a pregnant friendly one either! Flight prices always tricky, but we've signed up to Jack's Flight Club which is an email service and they send you good flight deals that they find - destinations change all the time so one you're interested in is bound to come up at some point, but you do have to book quickly or the prices go up. Yeah we've been to Japan before and loved it so keen to go back!

@thelittlepeanut we would book flights today if we weren't ttc! We always get excited about holidays and book way in advance. I don't always agree when people say "don't put your life on hold to ttc". I know where they are coming from but with holidays etc I'd hate to waste lots of money if you had to cancel. I think that's what will put us off Australia in the end- flight too long. My OH can probably only take 2 wks off work as well so it won't be worth it to go that far.

I got given a load of tinned tuna by my mum so trying to get through it. Just remember I quite like smoked mackerel. You can buy it ready to eat. Might not be everyone's cup of tea though...!

Sadly it wasn't meant to be this time around for us. Absolutely shit but I guess it happened for a reason. I suppose it just counts as a chemical pregnancy at this stage, about 4 weeks?

Really sorry to hear that @GoodCow. I don't have any experience myself, but yes I think you might have had a chemical pregnancy. So sorry for you, must be horrible after getting good news initially.

@Skyla01 and @thelittlepeanut we have a similar dilemma, my husbands sister in law is getting married in Cyprus in August and everyone is booking tickets now but we are not sure what to do! I keep trying to work it out like, if I get pg this month then the baby would be x months etc! It's so difficult.

I am confused about what's going on this month! Got back from hols on Friday and did an frer yesterday at 14dpo, and thought I saw a v v v faint line but could have been the indent. Tried again this morning and bfn, no symptoms of af or pg but lots of wet cm... temp today is above coverline but didn't do it all week we were away so no idea of pattern. Gah!

@SMiles14 yeah August is so tricky to plan for this far ahead when you're ttc. Can you hold off booking for a while?

Do you know when AF is due? Maybe wait another day or 2 before testing again. I gave up temping because I was struggling to keep it up and most mornings I'd forget!

@thelittlepeanut we are going to have to hold off I think, just hoping that the plane tickets don't get too much more expensive, it's about £400 return at the moment! 😩

Well I usually have a 14 day luteal phase so if my OPK is to be believed then I'm already late 🤷🏻‍♀️ I was suspicious of my positive OPK because it was a good few days earlier than I usually O and I got EWCM 3 days after it so I may still be 12-13 dpo instead of 15.

@SMiles14 yeah flight costs can be ridiculous! I have an app called hopper that basically monitors flight prices to whatever destination you choose, so you can keep an eye on them.

It's not an exact science ttc is it?! Fingers crossed you're late and there's a bfp a day or 2 away!

@thelittlepeanut ah thanks, I will get that app! I keep an eye on sky scanner and have joes flight club emails but that sounds helpful too!

I’m CD16 and feeling a bit blah... I have no idea where I am in my cycle because of the hsg and I have been so busy that haven’t had chance to take opks using the proper rules 🙈 and not even sure what side I’m ovulating from anyway.... so the chances could be so small that I have practically none..... BLURGH 😣

Sorry about the rant. That’s just my frame of mind today lol.

Sorry to hear you're feeling meh @Carley321. The whole thing can wear you down sometimes but you have all of us here to sympathise and have a moan with!

I'm ok, feeling more rationale and at peace with it all now. DH has been so good at looking after me, he's only just this afternoon feeling it himself. So we have a big carby dinner planned followed by ice cream. Back to healthy eating and a positive attitude tomorrow!

Sorry some folk are struggling. This isn't an easy process. Take some time out if you need. It won't be long until you're on to a new cycle and a new opportunity for success.

I'm cd11 today. Time is going slow! I'm trying to decide when to start opk, will probably stick to cd15 like last month. Not expecting ovulation until around cd20. Wish the time would pass a bit faster! Also got a bit of the meh feeling myself. But will stick with smep and see what happens.

Well AF got me this morning. Stupidity got my hopes up a bit yesterday as my spotting had spotted which has never happened before AF before.

Onto cycle 4! Need to think positively @Carley321 so thanks that has helped this morning x

@Makeafamily19 AF turned up for me too this morning so onto the next cycle! I get the worst cramps on cd1 so today is going to be long day!

Thank you for sharing that @Carley321 it's so true, and I hope you both feel more positive today! @Skyla01 it's not an easy process for everyone unfortunately, so I think some down days are totally normal!

On cycle day 12 today. We've managed to have sex every other day since cycle day 8 as per the plan!

It's the every day on positive OPK days that's going to be hardcore!

Ttc is such a long waiting game! And I'm not known for my patience.
