@Carley321 thank you, and yes sometimes a break is needed it can be all time consuming can’t it? I don’t think I’m going to go as crazy this cycle. I think I’m going to take the relaxed approach while still tracking and sticking to SMEP 🤞🤞🤞 for us

@AllHopeAndNoResults it can be so hard to find a balance between tracking & obsession!

I'm officially on the TWW now! Feeling chilled about it, hope that will last. This cycle I'm just happy I've ovulated earlier and am predicted a much shorter cycle. At least if AF comes I won't have long to wait until the next ovulation.

Yes it can become very consuming @AllHopeAndNoResults I wish I could be more easier going with it all.

I just find the not knowing of it will ever happen the most stressful feeling about it all.

Af has got me so I'm out this month! 😔 I was really upset last night because I had more spotting and then today it has turned into the dreaded witch. At least I can say my period is extremely predictable which is a big plus! I'm going to try and push it out of my mind, enjoy the sunshine and a cold glass of wine in the afternoon.

Congrats @tinyole and @Jen306 on your BFP's. That's such great news!!

@Carley321 I hear ya!! I'm 9 DPO today and really trying my hardest not to test. I feel very crampy like AF is on her way (What a witch) so i'm not optimistic but also trying my best to stay positive!!

@AllHopeAndNoResults That's great that your cycle has become shorter. Should make it easier to track your ovulation

@Carley321 thanks but my resolve was shot today. This morning I've already taken 2 IC tests to make sure they're still positive 🤦🏾‍♀️🤦🏾‍♀️ but I can't keep it from DH any longer and will tell him today.

@Skyla01 yay! It's great to have company ✨💜✨ Fertility Friend had changed my ovulation day 🤷🏻‍♀️ my temps usually rise after ovulation but they are going on a go slow this cycle, so I am scared that ovulation didn't occur at all 😭😩😭

@tinyole did you test again! I am so so happy for you. Thank you so much for your chart. My temps aren't rising and I am trying not to overthink it. Wishing you a very happy and healthy pregnancy 💐

@AllHopeAndNoResults I try my best to be relaxed, but I guess it's easy to get upset about it, as it's such an emotional journey I have to track, as I take cyclogest. If I didn't take that, I wouldn't temp to be honest.

@Carastarchild yes tested again and ended up using a frer and it was nice and clear ☺️
Told DH and he was surprised but so happy.

Gonna try my best not to continue testing so much until Thursday or Friday and then get in touch with doctor at some point this week.

Thanks so much for your well wishes! I'm currently overhauling my house. I just noticed this morning that I can't use my Clinique skin cleanser it's not pregnancy safe so going out to buy eco versions of everything and checking the labels of anything I touch so closely 🧐🧐

Ok so the absolute loony nut job came out in me today and I poas (just because I knew af won’t be long) and got a bfn at 9dpo. So pretty sure I’m out.
Now I’m debating on getting drunk and downing my sorrows or staying strong and still keeping hope 😢.

@carley 9dpo is still very early so don’t count yourself out yet. Some ladies are just lucky to get early positives most don’t get one until they’ve missed AF.
I was thinking back the other day and I remembered with ds I was getting negatives for a week and I was about a week ‘late’ when I got my BFP so it really is different. Even though I’ve always had irregular cycles I know I didn’t get a BFP in the early dpo stages so don’t write yourself off yet. She still hasn’t arrived and isn’t even due for a bit 🤞🤞

@Carley321 I am feeling it already 😩 9dpo is too early really for most ladies, so don't lose the faith yet! It all depends on when implantation occurs. ✨🌟✨

@AllHopeAndNoResults fertility friend changed my ovulation date this morning 😩 I got a positive opk and a peak on the monitor on Thursday the 22nd, and I got a second peak on Friday. See my attached chart. My temps are very slow to rise compared to normally 🤷🏻‍♀️ all I can do is wait until the morning, to see if it rises any further. I have been watching Stranger Things on Netflix to distract myself from the TWW. How are you feeling now. Sending you lots of baby dust ✨✨✨

@DGirl35 oh gosh, it is so hard really isn't it from around 8 or 9dpo, and it gets worse there after. I am keeping my eye on Boots to see if they are doing any offers on pregnancy tests! They sometimes do a 2 for 1 offer on first response.

I collected my DH from work and I don't think he is in dtd mood... Postponed until later on in the day 😉

I don’t know what’s wrong with me this cycle. I think it was just hitting the twelve month mark and trying smep when away and as calm as I will ever be. I just thought it was my time.

@Carastarchild so if you get 2 peaks a month what does that mean? You ovulated twice? I wouldn’t have a clue looking at charts because I can’t even follow them myself 😂

@carley I felt like that this month but I was surprisingly calm. It’s going to get to you either way. I’ve put it down like this, on average it takes a woman a year to fall pregnant that’s only 12 tries. When you put the numbers like that it doesn’t seem so long.
I’ve got bloody hundreds of pg tests. I ordered 40 opks of amazon and they sent me 40 pg instead. It’s just cruel 😂

I wasn’t trying with ds and I was only 21 and it just sort of happened and actually it was the first time I ever slept with DP 🤔 baby no 2 isn’t working on the same timelines!!

I’ve got a good feeling about this month and next though.

@Carastarchild - when I fell pg with DS years ago I got my peaks on the cbfm but ff said I ovulated a few days later than cbfm said. Anyway, assumed I was out as we'd dtd only the 1st peak and ff said i ov'd days later than second peak. I was pretty shocked when I found out I was pg that cycle! So, I try not to look into ff too much as temps can be slow to rise or fall for so many reasons! (I am temping this cycle though... but illness means most my temps are disregarded anyway!).

As for me, I'm still showing High on cbfm and negative on normal OPKs. Still got EWCM too (3rd day of that). Feeling bit better today and managed to be out of bed so perhaps we could manage to dtd when I get a peak (if I get one!). I said before, I've kind of written this month off in my mind and am already just focused and excited for next cycle now! Unsure if I'll have late Ov and therefore late AF or just no Ov at all this month?

@AllHopeAndNoResults 😂😅😂 it dips before ovulation and rises afterwards. Temps before during the period and before ovulation are lower than after ovulation. I had my son when I was 21 too!! 💙

@Carastarchild oh I see! That’s why I can’t faff around with temping it would do my head in!
From what it seems, and on other threads, the cheapie opks seem to be less confusing and give more accurate results. I think it would drive me mad looking at static and flashing smileys, For me personally i prefer looking for a line and using Premom has really helped me with that. How old is your ds?

@AllHopeAndNoResults oh that’s lovely about your DS. So sweet! What goes on inside our bodies that when it comes to waiting for something to actually happen it doesn’t rush then when completely oblivious to anything..... oops there it is!

Yes I suppose 12 tries isn’t that many. I guess it’s just so disheartening that other people seem to manage it in less. It just makes me doubt that I will ever get to have a baby of my own 💜.

@Carastarchild I wouldn’t be any good with that either I don’t think. Although I wish there was some way where I could actually confirm ovulation.

@AllHopeAndNoResults my DS is 16 😁 and yes, he is way taller than me 😂 The peak was for two days, as it picked up LH those two mornings.

@catsandkid goodness me! You have been very sick. I hope you really start to feel better soon. Rest, rest and then rest more. I think the months we sometimes have written off are actually the lucky ones ✨🍀✨ I decided not to worry and to just try to wait until the morning to see what happens.

@Carley321 we are ttc longer than that so I know exactly how you feel. 18 months or thereabouts. I have actually lost the correct amount of months at this stage, as we were trying, but not trying if that makes sense 🤷🏻‍♀️
