Thanks @Carley321 @Carastarchild I'm still poorly today but carrying on with my cbfm sticks even though I'm kinda out of ttc in my mind for this month now, but still keen to track cycle so it's not a complete waste! I'm still on 'High' and actually don't feel very Ov'y so wonder if all this stress might delay it anyway. I occasionally have a longer cycle between 35-40 days every few months so this might be one of those months. I'm CD18 now. On a long cycle I think I Ov around CD22-25 so if that was the case I think I'd be in better shape by then! I've never ever wished for a long cycle but could really do with a delayed Ov this month! Worried my cbfm will stop asking for sticks though? What do you do in that case? Would you just get the normal cb digital Ov kit to cover those later days in this month?

DH has a broken bone so DTD is proving a bit awkward but like a trooper he is willing to continue following SPEM!

@GoodCow oh dear, but good man! My OH had a cold (aka man flu) but is also still powering through.

@catsandkid hopefully your ovulation will come when you are ready for it. I got my static today! Already been busy ;) Although I wonder my opk picked it up late as I've had some symptoms I only usually get at the time of ovulation. Anyway the good thing with smep is you are covered either way. Plan to DTD the next few days anyway. Very pleased as I've ovulated 5 days earlier than last month so this cycle should be in the normal range length!

I'm feeling really nervous about testing on tues 😬 it's so difficult to not test early! I'm practically sitting on my hands. No sign of af so spotting was a bit random (but might not be implantation but who knows)

Great news on the peak @Glad your getting stuck in 👍🤣. 🤞🤞 we will all get some bfp soon.

@catsandkid did you say you were on antibiotics? If so maybe they have delayed Ov. Or if not it could defo be being unwell. It is said that anything will tamper with our cycles 🤦‍♀️ Bodies are crazy.

I’m pretty sure with all af symptoms a week before af is due rules me out. But I’m still keeping that tiny bit of optimism just because I get a sick feeling every morning (even though that’s not completely unusual before af) but that’s what I’m holding on to lol 😢

My temp is starting to rise, so I think ovulation was yesterday, but. I have to wait for three temp rises before ovulation is confirmed. My cbfm is reading high today. We dtd cd6, 8, 10, 12, and 13. We must dtd today and then again Monday 🤞🤞🤞Then operation SMEP will be finished 😉

@catsandkid are you taking vitamin C? I always take a higher dose when I get sick and it really helps. It looks like you have a few days before you ovulate, so that will give you enough time to get better.

@Carastarchild I'm just taking my normal multivits at the mo but perhaps I need some extra vit c to help boost my immune system.

Yes, I'm on antibiotics for another 6 days and have been really very unwell so could well have delayed O. Although went to toilet earlier and thought I spotted start of EWCM so maybe I'll peak in a day or so. 🤷‍♀️

Well done on keeping to SMEP ladies! Wish I could have been fully on board with you but will start again next cycle and follow it properly minus all the illness!

@catsandkid I starting noticing ewcm about two days before my peak. I would take some probiotics too if I were you as they help to replenish the good bacteria. I am actually going to start taking echinacea as well myself.

Well only one more SMEP plan dtd left 🌟😁🌟 my DH definitely needs a night off and so do my bits. I have been using a little bit of coconut oil to keep everything in balance down there 😂 we did our best and now it's in the hands of a higher force 🤞

@Carastarchild LOL to your bits needing a break 😂 But totally see where you're coming from! SMEP is quite brutal on the lady parts! Maybe a few years ago (pre DS!) we'd have naturally dtd this often but these days its definitely more of a task!

@AllHopeAndNoResults how are you getting on?

Good work everyone in the midst of smep DTD. I've got a few more to go. Then we can put our feet up! Good luck to everyone in the tww. I'll be joining you there from Monday. Currently feeling strangely chilled about it all. Think I'm just happy with an early ovulation so anything else will be a bonus! Would be great to see some bfps coming.

@catsandkid I had ewcm for 4 days this cycle. I'm still hoping you might be feeling better in time ovulation, and could still be in with a chance. Otherwise you'll be raring to go next month!

@GoodCow ewcm is kinda what it says on the tin. Cervical mucous that is very thick and slippery and stretchy and looks a bit like egg whites. It usually appears just before ovulation, so can help you track that way (although it isn't a reliable sign in everyone).

I'm 9pdo and ended up DTD everyday of my fertile window per my dh request and even though I promised myself I wouldn't test until AF is due I couldn't resist today as my best friend started trying this cycle and got pregnant on her first try (I mean come on I'm happy for her but really!!)

Anyway as I was saying I tested today and I got my BFP!!!! I couldn't believe it. It's still fairly faint but considering this is an internet cheapie I'm very hopeful. Will wait a few more days before testing again.

I really think it was due to SMEP even though we took it one step further so believing this will be the start of many more xxxx

Awww @tinyole huge congratulations!!! So good to see another graduate 🤗🤗🤗 your IC looks like mine did at 10DPO but my FRER was much stronger. Wishing you all the luck 💜

@Makingawish thank you!!! I'm still in shock. Not yelling DH yet will wait till Tuesday and take a frer and digital cb to present to him.

How are you getting along? And when are you due? Did you have any early symptoms? This is the one month I didn't symptom spot. I felt nothing besides nausea on and off over the last few days.

@tinyole oh wow, you have more willpower than me waiting til Tuesday!

I'm 5+4 today and edd is 22nd April. Started getting all day nausea recently but ginger biscuits are helping 🤞 other than that I'm doing ok 😊

What made you test any signs or symptoms? I’m going absolutely crazy here at 8dpo (even though I have lost of af symptoms) I still just keep hoping and praying for a bfp.

@Makingawish when I say I'm not testing again i mean using an expensive test till Tuesday. I'll be using theIC twice a day till I run out. I've got at least 50 so could be going for some time 😂😂

@Carley321 thank you so much!! I literally only testing because my best friend got a BFP a few days ago at 10dpo in an IC so I thought might as well.

Haven't really had any symptoms just nausea in and off. It was worse 2 days ago and almost threw up while out for dinner but it's barely noticeable now just barely there after I eat something.

Wishing you luck, when are you planning on testing?

@tinyole oh yeah I'm still testing now every few days even though I don't think they can actually get any more positive now 😄
