@tinyole how many cycles have you been using the Ava bracelet? My DH was shocked when I had the early loss. He is now so determined for us to grow a sticky baby after what happened. I decided to use the fertility monitor in conjunction with the Ava bracelet, so as to pinpoint my most fertile days. We are totally ready to be parents again 🤞🤞🤞Aren't we all! Sprinkling baby dust for us all ✨✨✨✨✨✨✨✨✨✨✨✨✨✨

@Carastarchild - yeah the sticks can be costly. The first cycle using it it'll ask for sticks from CD6 whilst it starts to learn your cycle. If you have to use it again next cycle (hopefully not!) you'll probably find it doesn't request a stick until cd10 or something. That's what I'm told anyway - we didn't need a second cycle with cbfm last time I used it as I fell pg with DS.

I'm on Cd7 and got a LOW yesterday and today. Expect ill see a HIGH around cd10/11 and then will keep getting HIghs until Peak (~cd16 usually for me).

@catsandkid I haven't used it in a few months and the batteries were dead, so I am back to the start. I need a new start, so I am not pushed to be honest. The monitor is great but sometimes I wish it could do more... 😅 I guess we are all used to have touchscreen phones and apps. I like the fact that it will signal the estrogen surge and so we can get an even better heads up that ovulation is on the way 🤞

How is everyone else? My AF is very gone very light, so hopefully it will be gone by tomorrow. Good luck to all waiting to test for ovulation and especially those waiting to test at the end of the TWW.

@carastarchild waiting for AF to end is the worst when ya wanna get back to it!! We started SMEP on Monday there on my CD4 had a weird short AF this month so we started early to give it our best shot! I’m sure we will be fed up by the time the 3 days in a row comes around 🙈 going to start my CB digitals on Friday I think CD8.

@Carastarchild I know so much waiting! I'm finally cd10 so going to start (slightly modified version) smep tonight. Not planning to start opk until cd15. Feeling impatient but I didn't get static smiley until cd25 last cycle so probably not much point in starting any earlier. I'm not feeling very optimistic, but hope that once we get started I'll be feeling better. I think having so long to wait before ovulation gets me down a bit.

I'm on CD12, Started opk on CD10, not a line in sight!! Been testing 2-3 times a day so going to keep that up until I get a positive (fingers crossed). So much waiting!!

@Skyla01 and @whatsthecraic91 I usually don't dtd until cd6, as I know AF is totally finished by then. I have to start using the fertility monitor on Friday, which will be cd6. I am going to dtd every second day until I get a peak reading. Ovulation was early last month, so you never know 😉 We are just going to have fun 😜

@DGirl35 my opks changed really fast last month. I was actually shocked. Luckily I kept testing from cd8.

That's good to hear @Carastarchild I have it in my head that I usually ovulate on CD17 so still a few days to go!

@Skyla01 are your cycles always that long? I saw the new cb digital opks can be connected to the phone now 😁

@Carastarchild this is only cycle 4 for me since stopping pill. Each cycle has been getting a bit shorter so far. Pretty sure my cb doesn't connect to my phone! Does the fertility monitor do that?

I’m on cd23 2dpo. Anyone else in the 2ww? I’ve smepped all the way up to the bonus day but I’m going to give it a miss as (tmi) conceive plus has given me thrush 🙈.

@Carastarchild Hey lovely, truly so sorry for your loss but glad you're in good spirits.
This is my second cycle with Ava so not much experience. Admittedly it seems to be a lot more accurate this month. How are you finding it? What is the fertility monitor? I've never heard of it. How are you finding it?

Hello happy Wednesday! How is everyone getting on? I'm in such good spirits for SMEP.

I fully intended on following SMEP to the letter but DH has gotten really keen to conceive. Caught him watching videos of dads with their young sons and he looked at them so longingly it made my ovaries ache!!

Anyway he's been so keen that he's wanted to DTD everyday in my fertile window. We've been at it since Saturday which doesn't seem like a lot but my lady parts need a holiday!!

Today I just got a positive opk so 3 more days and we're done.
I know it was recommended to do it every other day so I hope doing it daily is ok.

That's me updated how are you all going?
@DGirl35 what are you using to test? I've used both the cheapie ones and some slightly more expensive Tesco ones today to confirm positive tests.

@Skyla01 glad to see you're getting started, hopefully this will be the one for you!

DTD so often so i thought it would be hard work but it's actually been surprisingly ok. Only thing is my lady parts can definitely feel

@tinyole wow you guys have really been going for it! That's got to count for something! I've still got a while to wait until ovulation.... I think I'll be more excited once I get to that point.

@fallingasleeprightnow I'm going to try conceive+ for the first time, hope I don't get thrush after using it. That is not what you when trying to DTD lots!

We do not use anything other than coconut oil and it is antimicrobial.

@fallingasleeprightnow take some probiotics. I often even sprinkle some probiotics down there.

@Skyla01 I am off the pill a long time. It used to give me low blood pressure. I hope your cycles start to regulate more and more 💜

@Carastarchild I hope so! I'm sure they'll settle down with time. The long waits between each stage is just driving me a bit mad. Need some patience. I've also made a few lifestyle changes from my usual routine so I have less of my usual distractions. But I'm sure it'll be worth it eventually.

@Carastarchild glad to see you are doing so well and positive fingers crossed it will happen again quickly for you it usually does after a loss x @tinyole bless your other half you guys are on it ! Fingers crossed for you too we are all going out this month! I a on CD10 started SMEP on CD8 so trying to stick to the plan exactly - started tests this morning on clear blue and got low as expected I don't ovulate till late - also do temps which usually match up with my opks. This is gonna be a long month! X

@tinyole I used conceive plus for the first time this cycle. I have used pre-seed in the past with no success so thought I’d give this one a whirl! How are you finding the dtd so regularly? I’m glad for the break now! It’s dh’s birthday on Saturday and we go on holiday that day too so feel like I’m going to have to saddle up again soon 😂.

@Skyla01 I’d just say, use the recommended dose - I definitely went overboard! It lowers the ph of your lady parts so that sperm live longer but in turn, it can cause bacteria (aka thrush) to grow! If it’s worked this time I feel like it’ll have been worth it 😂.

@Carastarchild never thought of that before, thanks for the tip! I went to the doctor and they gave me some cream which has helped a little.

@fallingasleeprightnow ok I won't use too much! I guess you need a syringe or something to insert it?

@RachRainbow what day do you usually ovulate? I was cd25 when I got my positive opk last cycle. Really hope it comes sooner this time- I'm only cd11 just now!
