This one is a snug little basement World War 2 type nightclub, with dim lighting, snug velvet sofas, red walls and certainly no politically correct smoking bans. Occasionally certain selected men may be admitted at our convenience.

We went out for dinner last night with dd and she was so lovely, it made me resolve to really try and be grateful for what we have, not what we can't have at the moment. Not sure how long it will last though !

Am thinking we should think about moving soon, as we're up to over 700 posts. Ideas for themes for the next Hut gratefully received, although I personally don't feel we'd quite explored every nook of the cabaret, and Edith Piaf hadn't even arrived to do her turn on the stage yet...

I'll say this really quickly- one of my oldest friends has found out she is expecting triplets, after having a set of twins two years ago. I'm happy for her -they didn't find it easy to become parents- but still. More babies than you could shake a stick at (and you probably would need a stick with that lot demolishing the house...)

how about a gothic, disused theatre? with lots of cobwebs and dust?
