The Hut of Gl/Doom Part V- for the unapologetically despondent

The new hut. Ta-da!

This one is a snug little basement World War 2 type nightclub, with dim lighting, snug velvet sofas, red walls and certainly no politically correct smoking bans. Occasionally certain selected men may be admitted at our convenience.

Sit down, make yourselves at home, and never, ever apologise for feeling like shit. That's about it.

Sorry shreksmissus

Triggles · 28/01/2008 22:37

Shreksmissus - sorry.

DS has a cold, feeling miserable. No sleep last night, and not expecting much tonight either. But at least not working tomorrow, so that's a small mercy.

Ah, for a glass of wine....

shreksmissus - sounds like a rough couple days. hope you and dd are feeling better soon. can't dh stay home and take care of both of you so you can get some rest as well? dh has done this a few times - his work raised eyebrows initially, but he told them if i don't have the chance to get well, i'll end up in hospital and then he'll have to take a lot longer than a day or two off work - they backed right down

Anniemac, my consultant said that about me, I still have the same FSh levels I had 10 years ago, it doesn't always mean your ovaries are old, sometimes it can mean you have polycystic ovaries and your body is working harder to ovulate.

Annie it's exactly like me - slightly high fsh, but loads of progesterone. You may well have Polycystic ovaries and ovulate, but not PCOS which means you don't ovulate. I have just done my 14th cycle ivf (male factor) and had 17 eggs so don't call your ovaries old just yet! I am 38 btw

Now sitting squarely in the 2ww. So 2 weeks of reading too much into every little twinge, hopes up, hopes down, and then degenerating into Shreksmissus's description of the last few days before AF. The monthly rollercoaster. Feeling a bit blah here.

ladylush · 01/02/2008 09:34

Quick peek to see if any news from Lissie. I seem to remember her consultant appt. for the LWH was around this time.

Hi to everyone else. I'm in 2ww but not holding out a lot of hope, though am pleased that I got a positive opk this month - unlike last two months.
