Hello everyone, may I join you?

Now on month 7 of ttc #3. Have a ds and dd but desperate for another after mc 4 years ago. This is my last chance really as fast approaching 40.

I can't bear this waiting! I'm supposed to working this morning but have been obsessing about all minor symptoms especially dragging/achey feeling and sore boobs. I'm currently on cd23 so AF due early next week if unlucky!

Just have a feeling this could be the month.....but I've been convinced all year as I read in my New Year stars back in January that a major, major change was going to happen in my life in September, and nothing else fits the bill as far as I know.

Anyway, lots of luck and babydust everyone

Tania - directly afterwards DH went out to get something from the DIY shop and i lay there on the uncarpeted floor with my legs in the air for about 10 minutes in the hope of keeping the "swimmers" in!!! (obviously worked)

Hey, am back at home, had a relaxing few days away. Have only skimmed through the ttc9 thread and this one, so many postings, glad the whole thread thing got sorted out. I'm well and truely fed up, I've been hanging on since last monday (6th)for af, which is partly my own stupidity as got dates muddled around and was only actually due fri/sat (10th/11th) - however, still no af and it's now the 16th. Still feeling sick after eating, it's a funny kind of nausea which feels like it's from my throat rather than my stomache - if that makes sense - boobs still sore though not feeling as big, nipples look a bit lumpier than usual and paler in the middle. All hpt's coming up BFN - think I'm losing the plot and am starting to feel quite upset, the only other time I was this late was when I was pg before. Wish things would just hurry up so I can get on, despite symptoms am fairly uncovinced that am pg - just nuts - don't understand why tests are negative given all this. Any way sorry to rant - been away and the first thing I do when I'm back is moan - sorry .

Are you using First response Twiga?

Report
Twiga · 16/09/2004 12:21

No, have used clear blue, clear blue digital, medisave, and another one (can't remember make) that I still had kicking about in the cupboard - as you can see it's been a 10 days + obsession, really do feel like I'm losing it.

You are not losing it Twiga - i have had months where i have been "convinced" i was and have spent a fortune on tests. Some months i have had to avoid going into the Town because i couldnt pass boots without buying one!! Some of those months there was only a very slim chance i could have been pg. Ths is why we have decided to actually start trying in ernest. (Not just me miss pills at certain times of the month and pretend it was an accident!)

Right Tania2, have just phoned Dr and have got earliest appt for Tues morning. If nothing has happened by then I'll go, and can always cancel if af/BFP suddenly appears. Tessie, it sounds like I'm running out of test to try.....

I hope this thread IS lucky. I posted on no 9 thread saying I had just got a BFP - am in the midst of miscarrying now. Obviously early days but have been surprised at just how emotional it is making me feel. Do I need to go to the doctor or should it just take its natural course? Had allowed myself to get really excited at the prospect of being pregnant so am now feeling mega-low and am also facing the grim prospect of returning to a job I hate in the next 3 weeks....

I got two BFN on CD 28 and 30 and then a BFP on day 33. Sadly have now miscarried but I got some long and odd cycles after having ds and am experiencing the same now, some 7 months after having dd. I guess it takes a while for your body to readjust. But fingers crossed nonetheless!!!

Really sorry Sallie. All mc are difficult and emotional - there are just so many horones flying around at that time to start with. I too would go to the doctors to register the fact.

Hi again,

Last posted on ttc8 (I think) but have stayed off recently as highly superstitious. I am now 8 weeks pregnant, but very nervous (for those who don't recall I had a mc at 10 weeks in November and then two false starts in May and June). I'm trying really hard not to do all those things that I did wrong in the 10 wk mc - ie telling everybody, drinking (wasn't much anyway), sitting in jacuzzi (not actually difficult to do but wild horses wouldn't get me in a jacuzzi this time). Went to see GP yesterday and he said I'd just gone past the highest mc risk weeks which are apparently 6-8 weeks. Doesn't help me much though - I'm just praying to get to 10, 11 and 12 weeks. There's certainly no way I'm moving onto the "anyone due in ..." thread until at least 12 weeks, so I'll be lurking on here and maybe the mc boards until I feel more confident.

Lashings of good potent babydust to you all.
~~oo~~~~oo~~~~oo~~
