MrsWednesday · 24/09/2004 09:28

BeckiF, so sorry that AF has arrived . I have been reading all your messages and hoping that it wasn't what you thought it was.

Wifeof · 24/09/2004 09:38

Congratulations mirage

Bibi20 · 24/09/2004 11:28

Congratulations Cobweb and Mirage - at last, some graduates!! Sorry for those with af, especially BeckiF xx

I'm cd 11 - going away this weekend for our 2nd anniversary (which is actually on Tuesday).

Dh is incredibly stressed at work and not sleeping well - I'm being supportive (of course) even tho' he's keeping me awake (and I am VERY keen on my sleep) but part of me is thinking 'oh no - what's this stress doing to his sperm?!!'

Miaou.... I am in your situation too.... We have 2 kids and just decided to go for the 3rd... I didn't concieve number one very quickly but number 2 came after only 2 months of trying... I'd love to get pregnant on 1st try.... next month but I might not !!! All we talk about now is name for baby and what will in-laws think!! this is a tad stressful but I am quite excited !

Congrats to all those who have recently concieved I am sure we'll see each other on the pregnant thread and complain soon enough about morning sickness, tiredness,....

Twiga · 24/09/2004 12:15

Congratulations Mirage !

Mirage · 24/09/2004 12:37

Thanks everyone-still feeling a bit dumbstruck about the whole thing, but very happy all the same.

I'm trying not to get too excited as my stomach still feels a bit achey & AFish & after past experiences, don't want to count my chickens ect.

Myermay,is there a Pondland shop near you? They do 2 pregnancy tests for £1 & they do work.If I were you,I'd test again as the same thing happened when I was pg with dd.It took over a week to get a positive.

I'll be keeping everything crossed for you & the other TTC'ers.

bonniej · 24/09/2004 12:49

Congratulations Mirage Myermay, do get another test and good luck!!

Wifeof · 24/09/2004 13:29

Girls,

I've just found this on the web about the qaulity of pregnancy tests including First Response.

I'm not going to give up hope yet as I may have just tested too early.

Byeeee, I'm really off now

Have great weekends!

sweetheart · 24/09/2004 13:52

I liked THIS BIT:-!!!!!! DUH!!

Q: Will recreational drugs or alcohol interfere with home pregnancy tests?

A: Drugs such as cocaine, marijuana, heroine, and alcoholic drinks will not alter the result of a home pregnancy test, but it is better to test when not under the influence

MINNIE1 · 24/09/2004 14:16

LOL,

Geordie · 24/09/2004 14:25

CD 27 and im testing first thing tomorrow as my boobs are sore today when going up and down stairs which only usually happens when pg.

Although i could have over done it at the gym last night or it could be cos dd and ds are constantly grabbing at me and climbing on me BUt i prefer to think its cos im pg and untill my af comes then i am ok.

Not that im emotional or anything ladies, you understand. Right just off to read the link so kindly posted by Wifeof to convince myself further.

CP3 · 24/09/2004 17:20

Great news BeckieF, im rooting for you!!!!!

Congrats to you too Mirage am looking forward to hearing why you thought you wouldnt concieve naturally

Cobweb · 24/09/2004 18:13

Hi girls, on here with a worry now. I did my pregnancy test on Thursday and it was a BFP, but I am experiencing no pregnancy symptoms.

I am worried because I didn't have any symptoms with my last pregnancy and that ended up being a very traumatic miscarriage ending in and operation.

With my two DS's I had lots of symptoms and that's why I am now sitting here worried but happy IYKWIM

Sorry its me me me, but I can't stop worrying.

Congrats to Mirage

Lots of love and hugs to those with AF's

Happy BD'ing for those at the right time of the month.

Thanks for listening once again.

Oh and I still can't believe I haven't told DH, here's to testing again on Monday.

Love Cobweb xxx
