First chart is FF's option and is my option. Either way I can't trust either one as I started progesterone cream yesterday because I wasn't getting the temp rise. I think either I'm not ovulating or extremely low progesterone. So DH have agreed we will test 9dpo to 12 dpo and if no bfp ill stop the cream and get tests next cycle. I couldn't get an appointment for this cycle in time so we said we'd try the cream, just incase we were lucky (miracle) and the last bd was enough to fall this cycle. If I get a bfp doc will prescribe pessaries so I'll get tested then. I won't lie it's really stressing me out and I'm very down about everything this cycle. At the beginning it seemed as though my cycles had finally settled after the last mc but now I'm at a loss.

@AliceRR thanks for asking after me x

@frillyfarmer omg congrats hun Fx for a sticky bean xx

Hi @Lilimum7 I'm so sorry you're having a problem with temperature rise. I'm having a similar problem. I posted my chart below. I've never had a problem before with progesterone but I'm starting to wonder if I do this cycle. I hate the ambiguity of whether I ovulated or not. It's really put me on edge. If my temps are still hovering around the cover line I might see the GP on Monday. I'm spotting as well which is new. I really hope your temps go up and you get your bfp! Xx

Lilimum7 · 21/06/2019 19:39

@Catconfusion me too hun. Hope your goes up it really horrible this no knowing thing. If I'm honest I've been having problems since my last mc.

I don't see your chart though hun

@Catconfusion that is a confusing chart. But I am impressed with your bd marathon. I can get hubby to do more than a few days before he can't if you know what I mean

@Lilimum7 😂 thanks. I have pcos so we don't have a choice. No reliable way to predict when so covering all bases. It's exhausting though. I get peak opks but sometimes ovulation fails. I usually do ovulate in the end with a clear thermal shift. Last cycle this was on day 36 which is late for me but post two back to back miscarriages. This cycle is so weird. Hormone fluctuations are worse and now what looks like a weak ovulation or possibly not. We can't believe it after all the work we've put in. FF seems to think it's happened so I guess I just wait and see. Have you had spotting mid cycle? Xx

DuvetCaterpillar · 21/06/2019 20:56

@frillyfarmer - tentative congratulations, that's a lovely line, am really pleased for you. Good plan on letting the doctor know - that can't do any harm and might help.

@AliceRR I feel for you, that sounds very bittersweet, especially when the little one was so close in age to your daughter. Ruby is a lovely name. Hope you're OK.

@Lilimum7 and @Catconfusion sorry to hear about the weird cycles, and I hope they start behaving themselves soon. I don't chart myself (wouldn't be a good match for my personality/ mental health) but I'm always impressed at the dedication it takes, even if the readings are odd sometimes.

Hope everyone else is OK and holding up as well as possible under the circumstances.

I'm OK - AF due first of July so now just hanging about waiting to see what happens. Work is frantic, so at least it's a good distraction!

pinkoi · 21/06/2019 21:05

@Lilimum7
I'm glad it's not just me in that situation!! We have had a lot of false starts 😉

Lilimum7 · 21/06/2019 21:16

@Catconfusion no not had spotting at all this cycle.
@pinkoi sorry your having a confusing time too

That's a good sign @Lilimum7 as I've heard that can be a sign of low progesterone.

I think I might need to see a doctor. I'm still spotting and had sharp ovary pain for about a weak. I'm worried it's a cyst. Just want AF to start now as my chances probably aren't great with such a poor temp rise. I'm just hovering at the cover line. xx

I'm sorry @pinkoi you're having troubles too. I wish it could be easier for us. xx

Lilimum7 · 22/06/2019 08:31

@Catconfusion I have a cyst on my left ovary, it's about 2cm. It was found back in March 18 but gynaecology told me they don't worry about them unless they are over 3cm or growing rapidly. Apparently they do not affect fertility either. I usually get more pain straight after ovulation for about 10 days, if its a bfn it usually settles but when I'm pregnant it continues to give me sharp stabby pains especially if that's the side that ovulation happened. As for a scan on your ovaries and while your there you could ask the sonographer to do I little check on your womb just for good measure.

Hi ladies, sorry so many of you are feeling confused or uncertain at the moment.

I've been using clearblue opks for the past week and have now had flashing smilies for five days in a row. How long would you keep testing with the flashing ones before giving up for the month? In the past I've gone as long as ten consecutive flashing days without ever getting a solid one and it looks like I'm heading the same way again, as I've mentioned before the month I got pregnant was the month that I didn't test because and I and the doctors had reached a point where we convinced that I never ovulated. I'd kind of naively hoped that after the miscarriage my body might decide to have more 'normal' cycles, in spite of the fact that they really weren't before. I guess only time will tell....

Catconfusion · 22/06/2019 08:50

Oh no @Lilimum7 that sounds uncomfortable. Good to hear they don't affect your fertility and you don't need treatment.

I had a mmc in February so my ovaries and womb were thoroughly checked. I have pcos so was surprised to hear there were no cysts on my ovaries. Apparently they can clear up with pregnancy though. Previous scans years ago before I was pregnant showed poly cystic. I know it's not the same as having an ovarian cyst though. Can they grow quickly? I'm just wondering if the hormones from the mmc and then cp in the next cycle have caused one to grow. It's a strange pain: sharp and niggling. I usually get ovulation pain but not for this long. Interesting when I was pregnant I had it for a few days just after finding out. I was convinced ectopic but it wasn't. I think the moral of the story is miscarriages mess you up. It's just very unfair! Xx

Catconfusion · 22/06/2019 08:53

Sorry for cross posting @Avocuddles I've heard some ladies miss the LH surge with clear blue when testing in the morning. I've only ever got peaks on cheapies in the evening. I find temping with Ovusense far more reliable at confirming when ovulation has happened. I was convinced I didn't ovulate too but with Ovusense I've found I do just very sporadically. I'd thoroughly recommend it. Xx

AliceRR · 22/06/2019 08:54

@pinkoi I had a similar strange period last month and it turned out to be an early af. My cycles are still not regular since having my daughter in February

@DuvetCaterpillar Thanks. I am ok and I’d happily see her baby again as it was lovely to see her but it definitely had an impact as I keep thinking about it.

@Avocuddles I think the instructions say you probably won’t get a static smiley after 9 days of flashing smileys. Last cycle I got ten flashing smileys (ten consecutive days) and then gave up but I had been testing with One Step in an evening and got a positive on that. CB didn’t detect the surge but it was my first cycle using them.

I got my static smiley yesterday morning but was partly expecting it as I had lots of ewcm the day before. We dtd a couple of days ago, the night before static smiley and yesterday morning. Sorry TMI but I think that’s enough? I don’t have it in me to BD again and yesterday was hard work 🙈 but then seems “wrong” if I’m missing ovulation day (which I think was yesterday but could be today)

Lilimum7 · 22/06/2019 09:26

@Catconfusion itoo have found this so I use cbfm am ic afternoon and cbdigi ovulation before bed. I always get a peak before bed before the monitor registers it as peak. So my guess is the LH surge starts mid am but does show up in urine until afternoon evening and as mines fairly long I can still pick it up the next morning.
I don't think am testing is reliable for me.

Avocuddles · 22/06/2019 09:52

@Catconfusion @AliceRR @Lilimum7 I've always tested in the morning but might try a switch to the evening? I'll give it up to nine flashing smiley days days and then stop. We're off on holiday in two weeks time so if this isn't going to be our month I just hope AF comes before then so I know where I stand! Once I've worked through my remaining stash of CBs think I'll move to another (cheaper!) brand so I can test twice a day without breaking the bank!

@AliceRR that sounds like more than enough BD, hopefully yesterday's swimmers will have done the job.... fingers are crossed for you xx

Catconfusion · 22/06/2019 09:56

I'd definitely try that @Avocuddles also the premom app is really good because it automatically reads to results to tell you if you've got a peak. You get this...xxx

@Catconfusion looks good though I suspect I might get a bit addicted to testing! Hmm I've also been recommended easy at home which I think does something similar? Will invest once this cycle / holidays are out of the way x

Izabelus · 22/06/2019 12:16

Hello girls! Hi @Avocuddles, I remember your nickname from the other thread, I'm really sorry that we are meeting here again. I'm sure it will work out for us soon too! x Congratulations @FirstTimeMama91! Wishing you all the best.
I've been watching this thread as I sadly had a MMC a few weeks ago. It was my first pregnancy and I just instinctively felt that something was wrong and went to the EPU to discover that there was no heartbeat at 9 weeks and the baby probably died the week before. It was heartbreaking. I read that MMC are very rare but then after talking to a few people it seems that everyone either knows someone who has gone through it or they've gone through it themselves! It's definitely not talked about enough. I had the ERPC 3 weeks ago but I haven't gone back to work yet... I really needed to take time off to look after myself for a while. Anyway, that's a lot of rambling so sorry for the long post but it's about time I say hi to you! Hope you are all doing well! x
