@FirstTimeMama91 that's so unfair. Hopefully a bfp or the next one will be more normal.

Mine have always been irregular due to mild pcos but had got better with age. Still 28-42 days though. Now they are 50 odd days long.

Lilimum7 · 20/06/2019 11:49

OK fellow charters can you help figure out if the problem is anovulation or extreme low progesterone? Just about ready to give up! Clearly it's just not ment to be

@Lilimum7 I'm so sorry. I'd have said you haven't ovulated yet but temps are nice and low. Mine fluctuate loads due to hormone imbalance. When do you usually ovulate? Xx

Catconfusion · 20/06/2019 11:57

@Lilimum7 Just realises you got a peak. Maybe ovulation tomorrow? Xx

Lilimum7 · 20/06/2019 13:05

@Catconfusion thanks for you reply. Cd10 is my usual ovulation day and my peak was cd9 ovulation pains cd10 (quite painful). I'm gutted it's just getting to much for me to cope mentally

OP posts:
Catconfusion · 20/06/2019 13:16

@Lilimum7 ok I see now. I guess it can take 36 hours to ovulate after peak so cd 11 would be maybe late for you but not impossible. It could be to do with oestrogen. I've heard sometimes it takes a bit longer for it to drop and it suppresses the progesterone meaning you get a later rise or a fallback one. I'm sorry it's getting to you. It's so tough after loss. I'm day 42 and not convinced I've ovulated yet even though FF says I have. I use Ovusense and input the temps. I really hope we both get a confirmation soon! Xx

@Catconfusion @Lilimum7 can I join in on the ovulation too please.

I am really confused as I'm on CD14 and usually ovulate day 12/13. Premom app is telling me these tests are low, what do you think? Been testing for the last 4 days and all been negative so not to sure what to think.

Catconfusion · 20/06/2019 14:09

@Pop1234 looks like its nearly there. Maybe try this evening. I always get my peak at night.

So ladies it really does look like I maybe didn't ovulate. I've started spotting again and just feel generally confused as it's never happened before. The temp rises and the pattern isn't like previous cycles so expecting it to plummet tomorrow. I hate how miscarriages mess your body up. Mine was in Feb with Chemical in March and I'm still not able to try again because of how much its messed my cycles up. I have PCOS but usually ovulate on my own day 20-30. I'm now on day 42. Sorry for the rant! xx

Pop1234 · 20/06/2019 14:24

@Catconfusion thank you.

It really is crap what MC do to our cycles. I have never had problems before with my last 3 miscarriages but this one does seem to have played with my cycle. It's really not fair. Did you ovulate that cycle?

Pop1234 · 20/06/2019 14:24

@Catconfusion last cycle that was meant to say sorry.

Lilimum7 · 20/06/2019 14:33

@Catconfusion no need to apologise hun I'm right there with you. I understand about the frustration of messed-up cycle post mc. The mmc I had in October messed me up for 3 months, then I had another mmc followed by a cp. It takes its toll. Fx we will get there in the end

Hi Ladies!

Am going to tentatively hop on - have been lurking for a few days.
TTC #1
Age: 31
Cd :5
AF due: 15th/17th July

I am just coming to the end (hopefully tomorrow) of my second AF since my ectopic surgery. Sadly I am a tube down after our first pregnancy was diagnosed as ectopic at 10 weeks in April, but am feeling hopeful and wanting to get back to TTC this month.

We were very lucky and got pregnant on our first cycle TTC in February so still very new to TTC and all the tracking etc. I am equal parts excited and petrified at the idea of being pregnant again.

Avocuddles · 20/06/2019 17:46

Hi @TizzyTess I'm pretty sure everyone here knows exactly what you mean about feeling excited / terrified! Hope you have the result you want soon but in the meantime this is a really supportive place to be.

Had my first acupuncture consultation yesterday - it was mostly a detailed interview / conversation around health and fertility followed by a brief trial with the needles. Came away with a list of supplements to try as well as lots of general lifestyle tips. Amazon have just delivered my first purchase which is Ubiquinol 300mg capsules. Are any of you taking these and if so do you have any tips about best time to take / any side effects?

FirstTimeMama91 · 20/06/2019 20:30

@Catconfusion it's so annoying. But hopefully we both get our bfps soon Thanks x

FirstTimeMama91 · 20/06/2019 20:37

@TizzyTess sorry to see you here but this group is amazing for support. We're similar, myself and DH got our first bfp after first cycle of trying in Feb and then we had MC in April. My cycles are all over the place now. 1st cycle after Mc was 6 weeks and this cycle I'm still waiting on AF to arrive, currently on day 36 x

Frillyfarmer · 21/06/2019 07:07

I'm 10DPO and just got this. I'm not really sure how I feel at the moment, but hopefully third time lucky.

What do I do? I've never phoned my GP on a BFP but I'm kind of thinking as this is following two MCs, it might be a good idea to log it?!

Pop1234 · 21/06/2019 07:22

@Frillyfarmer that's a fab line congrats!!

I would definitely log it with your GP, even if it's just making them aware for now. Got everything crossed for you.

Catconfusion · 21/06/2019 08:03

Amazing news @Frillyfarmer I really hope this sticks for you! xx

Pop1234 · 21/06/2019 10:11

@AliceRR how are you doing?

Catconfusion · 21/06/2019 10:22

So ladies, I'm having the weirdest cycle. Any thoughts would be appreciated. I'm thinking I did ovulate as have had mild ovulation pain and some spotting. Still not completely convinced in in the tww. Xx

Yukka · 21/06/2019 11:50

@Frillyfarmer congratulations that's lovely to see. Obviously very early but I would make an appointment with your gp so it's registered and you can talk through any concerns. You should find them very supportive x

@Catconfusion I've never been any good at reading temping as mine just didn't seem to work like everyone else's. Sorry!

AliceRR · 21/06/2019 12:25

Hey y’all

Congrats @Frillyfarmer on your promotion and BFP! I’m also hoping for promotion this year and funnily enough the other two in my team who want it are also on mat leave!

@Avocuddles yes hopefully we will have buns in the oven soon do won’t need to see gp about fertility but it has helped me to put a timescale on it so I know that if it hasn’t happened by sixth cycle then I’ll speak to someone. I am tempted to speak to gp anyway about my irregular cycle although I know it’s early days really and sounds like a few of us are experiencing similar

Thanks for asking after me @Pop1234

I’ve been feeling a bit emotional lately but re cycle I got a static smiley on CB today. Only got flashing smiley for one day yesterday then static (peak fertility) today on CD13. Not so bad as we managed to dtd a couple of days ago and then again yesterday and today but it is early and makes me think my cycle is all over the place. I have had a 34 day (first cycle still birth), 26, 30 and now this cycle will probably be about 27 days. Cycles before getting pregnant last year were about 32 days.

My friend came over with her baby girl again yesterday. It was really lovely but bittersweet as she’s only three weeks younger than Ruby would have been but my friend’s baby is a bigger baby so I couldn’t help but think Ruby would have been shirt the same size. DH was holding the baby lots and it was really sweet but obviously made me think of him holding Ruby like that.

Hope everyone else is ok @Lilimum7 @VenusStarr

pinkoi · 21/06/2019 13:31

Wow @Frillyfarmer - tentative congratulations xxx

@AliceRR - that must have been soo hard to see. It's an odd one to be happy for someone while you are struggling with your own grief.

I have a question for OPK users.
I got what I think was a peak reading on the night of the 1st but that doesn't mean I did ovulate? I stopped testing after that test but I'm wondering if I had another surge a day or two later and ov then.
I'm a bit confused as AF arrived 1/2 way though Monday but was gone again 48hrs later. It was bright red but light (and lighter and than last months bleeding before BFP). Neg frer on 1st day of bleeding.
I think I'm probably clutching at hope but it's all been a bit strange.... I guess my cycle could still be sorting itself after MC xx

Avocuddles · 21/06/2019 16:36

@Frillyfarmer tentative congratulations to you! I would definitely suggest logging with your GP - regardless of what happens it will probably help you to get the care your require going forward. Hope that this is your rainbow! x
