TTC buddies needed DESPERATELY

I desperately need some TTC buddies. We've just started trying for no.3 and we haven't told anyone. I'm bursting but with no one to talk to. I realise this makes me sound like a total sap

Yes I’m sure my anxiety and obsessing stresses me out which messes with my cycle so I get more stressed out 🙄 TTC is exciting, stressful and maddening!

That's good it's not started properly yet, when did you last test? I usually spot each month around this time but nothing so far apart from a tiny bit when I woke up yesterday it's so confusing. Constantly checking when I wipe..arrrgggh 😆

I hate the dreaded wait for AF. Finished for me 2 days ago and luckily a very light bleed for the majority.
Now a waiting game for us as it's technically a 2 month cycle as I'm not 'trying' this cycle! Still not using condoms etc but not testing on OPKs etc either x

Yer it's definitely the worst! That's what I was doing before not using opk or anything but this month thought I'd try the strips out. I just had another bit of spotting but weird little tiny spots of red in clear cm then pink when I wiped..hopefully not the start of af x

@aberforthsgoat I have a fitbit and never thought of looking at it for symptoms, but I did just notice tonight that my resting heart rate is higher than it usually is. Usually sit around 60/70-ish bpm but tonight it's 85. Have you noticed a difference with yours?

@dizzy85 I'll test in a couple of days but if I ovulated when I think I did it would be very unlikely that I got pregnant this month. I'll see what happens tomorrow and if it hasn't turned to AF then I'll get a test tomorrow. Cramps have gone really and still spotting a brownish colour sorry TMI 🤦🏻‍♀️

@kam610 this cycle I’m out I think as my resting heart rate is my usual baseline. But both times I’ve been pregnant previously my heart rate has come down a little after ovulation then kept climbing, and stayed high instead of coming down again just before AF.
It’s not an exact science as a lot of things can affect it but if you search on here there’s some interesting old threads. I tried to start a new one but nobody has bitten!

Dizzy could it be implantation or is it too late for that?

Hi everyone. I came off the pill in Dec and we have started ttc no1. Due AF on Thurs so we’ll see what happens this month...

I’m finding it awkward/weird planning things like holidays/events in the summer etc as I’m wondering will I be pregnant or not then! Strange but thats how my brain is working and hoping :)

Not TTC yet but the plan is June as with some others 😆 I'm stopping my pill at the beginning of June, said we will wait and see what happens then! Started taking PNV this month aswell to try get my body ready before stopping my pill

Me and OH soooo excited but just don't know what to expect as it will be #1 for me!

@cmGH In my experience planning everything anyway is the best way to ensure you’ll fall quickly 😁
This time I tried to allow for it in my plans and months later he we are. So I’m booking a holiday this week and all the other plans too.

Think I’m definitely out. My heart rate has stayed low and although I had some (tmi alert) creamy, stretchy yellow tinged cm last night I think it’s yellow tinged because AF is on her way.

Feeling quite silky and weary even though I knew she was most likely to rock up.

How’s everyone else today?

@MrsB899 do you not usually spot then? Keep us updated on the testing, I just did another test and BFN ☹️

@Aberforthsgoat I don't think it could be implantation as today is 12dpo, I had another small amount of it this morning but now I'm just guessing it's going to turn into AF.

Feeling abit down about it all today, just the thought of having to go through yet another month 😭 trying to stay positive but it's hard!

@dizzy85 it is hard isn’t it. I think it’s the fact that as soon as af is over you know it’s a matter of weeks again before you’ll know, it feels like such a long slog. And even though it drags in the 2ww it also feels like it’s whizzing by and I’m still not pregnant!

@Aberforthsgoat it really is a massive rollercoaster of emotions, last week I was really positive and now the first sight of some blood and it sends your head in a twist, especially when you convince yourself you've had symptoms that are different to the other months..then you just feel even more crazy. What day is your af due?

I know! I’m due Thursday. No symptoms as yet but I don’t really have any pregnancy type symptoms either.
It’s annoying as both times recently knew as I had sore breast which I never used to get but since actually being pregnant previously I now get it every month as a symptom of AF!! So can’t eben rely on that any more! When’s yours due?

I'm due on Thursday too! That is so frustrating, I usually get sore boobs before but this time they're not as sore just on and off, and I have been having this niggling pain in my right ovary area which is the side I'm sure I ovulated from this month as I had pains there when I had a positive opk..I guess only a few more days and we will find out. Are you planning to test again or just wait?

I don’t think I can deal with seeing another stark white test to be honest 😫🤪 so I’m going to try and leave it now. I’ve wasted two first responses and they’re so expensive as it is.

I really hope your af doesn’t show but if it does we can console each other on Thursday and start the new cycle at the same time.

I always find the last couple of days leading up to af the hardest, the last couple of months she’s shown up a couple of days late as well just to further mess with my mind !!

ARGGGHHH. I just want my cycles to go back to their nice 28 day spot on cycles that they were before I got pregnant.

Oh no that's what's I've just been having aswell and plus I feel really angry and emotional today 😫 mine came early last month by 3 days I'm hoping it's not this again! And I hope it's not yours either.
But yer if it is we can have another cycle of going crazy together 🙃

AF turned up today with a vengeance 3 days late. Can't wait for it to go so we can steam into trying

sorry to hear that @mrsb899 mine has just turned up too, a couple of days early.
Even though I feel shitty I feel almost relieved that I have an answer and can stop obsessing and I'm going to track with opks next month and see how I get on. Fingers crossed!

Honestly don't be sorry I knew the chances were very slim this month. Onto next month finger crossed

Is anyone using cb digital opks? Do you find them better than cheapies if you do?

@Aberforthsgoat I'm going to be using them this month. I find the cheapies really hard to read and often doubt myself if I think it's positive so to avoid confusion I'll try digitals this month

I use an app that reads opks which makes it a bit easier but I’m going to use the cb ones that have the flashing and static smileys to give us more chance as I find it hard to work out the best times with the other ones

I used them this month but it was the first time and they went straight from low to static smiley - but I didn’t get a positive cheaply opk til two days later so I’m not entirely sure I did ovulate this month or whether my body just kept trying!
