I desperately need some TTC buddies. We've just started trying for no.3 and we haven't told anyone. I'm bursting but with no one to talk to. I realise this makes me sound like a total sap

Thank you! Smile fingers crossed it’s a lucky cycle and a lucky thread for us all!

CmGH · 12/04/2019 19:01

I’m only a day late, but thought sure I’d do a test this morning! I bought some of the cheapy ones online, as I have a 5k and 10k run planned for this wkend so wanted to decide whether to take it easy or not but realised I’d been sent ovulation tests instead of pregnancy tests Confused
Replacement ones on the way so I might just have to take it easy unless/until AF arrives!

Squiff70 · 12/04/2019 19:07

Hi everyone,

I'm 36, lost twins at 19 weeks back in January and TTC again from this cycle. I'm 5 DPO after blazing positive OPKs (CD 17 today), AF due 20th April. Last night I slept for 3 hours, woke at 10pm then went to bed and slept all night. Today I've been feeling very lightheaded. DP thinks it's a sign but I'm not so sure...

Good to know there are others supporting each other during TTC :)

Kinsella82 · 12/04/2019 19:17

@CmGH ovulation tears are known to show positive for pregnancy too so you could chance it in the morning.
I wouldn't worry too much about the running as it's fine if you normally exercise that way. Plenty of fluids x

Kinsella82 · 12/04/2019 19:17

Tests not tears

Kinsella82 · 12/04/2019 19:26

@Squiff70 best of luck and sorry for your loss x

cc1616540 · 12/04/2019 19:27

Hi! I'd love to be part of this group! I've just joined and were currently trying for our first. Been TTC for nearly 2 years now but my partner won't go to docs to get checked out so can't really progress with that at all :(
We haven't told anyone so it's difficult trying to hold it all in - lots of friends and family announcing pregnancies or giving birth and it's too close to home.
Would be really nice to chat to people in the same situation

Squiff70 · 12/04/2019 19:29

@Kinsella82 thank you, same to you!

CmGH · 13/04/2019 08:48

@Kinsella82
Thanks for that, I have so many opks its worth a go!
@Squiff70
Hopefully all goes well for you this time, sorry for your loss.

@cc1616540
thats a rubbish your partner won’t go to docs. Could you go for tests and ask him to come along with you and gp might be able to talk to him then?

cc1616540 · 13/04/2019 11:41

@cmgh

He doesn't think it's an exact science and thinks it will just happen for us when it does. My GP have said they won't start any tests with me until he has been tested and they have the results of that, as it's 'easier to check a man' apparently

Squiff70 · 13/04/2019 11:46

@CmGH, Thank you.

Robbo93 · 13/04/2019 13:52

So guys, even tho I'm not officially trying this month, just noticed for the first time since January (even tho I had a positive LH surge last month) the Egg white CM everyone claims is a sign of ovulation (& lots of it!) .. DTD this morn as well... 😂 oh gosh I'll have a baby on Xmas day at this rate!!

cc1616540 · 13/04/2019 18:45

Fingers crossed for you @Robbo93!

Robbo93 · 13/04/2019 18:47

@cc1616540 thanks! If it happens it happens, not a good time for us to conceive personally due to a million birthdays already in December and January, but if it's meant to be then it will be x

MrsM18 · 13/04/2019 19:28

Hi ladies can I join?? I feel the sameee, trying for #2 and just want to have somebody to talk to about it lol x

mynameisMrG · 13/04/2019 19:44

Hi everyone, can I join too? We have just agreed to start trying to number 2. I lost two last year both at 15 weeks so we had taken a good 8 months off from TTC while we got ourselves back on track. Like many of you here we were going to wait another couple of months before trying again but I’m getting frustrated with waiting now! Plus so many people I know have just had babies!
Think I’m due to ovulate this week. I have the clear blue fertility monitor (took over s year to fall with my DS) so should be entering the dreaded TWW soon!
Looking forward to sharing the journey with you ladies Smile

MrsB899 · 13/04/2019 20:12

@CmGH have you managed to do a test fingers crossed for you x
@Squiff70 welcome lovely. So sorry for your loss. Fingers crossed the sleepy ness and lightheaded feeling is a sign x
@cc1616540 welcome sweet! This chat has def helped as I'm not able to talk to anyone really and I'm sure I'm driving my husband mad keep going on about it. Finger crossed for you x
@Robbo93 in my experience it's never the right time to try, something is always in the way but if everything happens for a reason x
@MrsM18 welcome lovely. You've def come to the right place
@mynameisMrG so sorry for your losses. Hopefully this will be a lucky thread full of BFPs soon x

Thank you @MrsB899. I hope so too although I feel fine today. I ordered from FRERs last night and they're due for delivery around Weds so we shall see I guess. How many DPO are you now?

MrsB899 · 13/04/2019 21:22

@Squiff70 AF has just been and gone for me. I knew I'd be out any way my husband was on a work trip but it's all systems go this month. Du think you'll last until weds? I'd be pee'ing on everything in sight 😆

OP posts:
Squiff70 · 13/04/2019 21:27

@MrsB899 Fingers crossed for you for next month!

I'll last out (just). I'm 5 DPO and AF is due on 20th so I've got a few days to wait yet anyway.

Kinsella82 · 13/04/2019 22:03

Anyone due to Ov around the 25th of this month? That's my approx date. Feels like forever away!!

cc1616540 · 13/04/2019 22:11

@Robbo93 I know what you mean but I'd never actually thought about that when we've been TTC haha! I'd love to just be expecting no matter when it lands now! I get married in October so there was a small period of oh no it would be a nightmare if it was due on the wedding but now I can't wait!

Thank you @MrsB899 - the only other person I had to chat to about it was my boss as she was in the same situation, but she is now expecting so I don't want to talk to her about it really now. I do find it impossible to not talk about it, so I'm hoping this chat will help. I just need to get used to all the shorthand as I'm not sure what things mean!

@mynameisMrG so sorry for your losses. Couldn't imagine how that feels.

We're planning on going all out this month to hopefully get our BFP this cycle!!

MrsB899 · 13/04/2019 22:56

@Kinsella82 I'm due to ov around 23rd my fertile week starts next weekend according to Ovia. Hope it's right because my husband goes on a stag break on 25th

OP posts:
mynameisMrG · 13/04/2019 23:04

Thank you ladies. I think I’m due to ovulate on the 21st but I’ve only just started tracking again so that might not be right.

MrsM18 · 14/04/2019 07:01

Thank you for the welcome @MrsB899 Smile

I'm due to ovulate any day now, currently on CD14 and no CM at all which is a little concerning as that's usually my give away! OPK yesterday was a lot darker than previous but still not as dark as test line so taken that as negative still.

How are you ladies getting on?
